Thanks for this. I'll just feel semi-stupid when I'm talking with the people at the r/c store. Seriously, this is a very good place to start for the basics.
Very informative I'm going to make my 4 year old son watch this once a week for 3 months 😂😂. I needed this video as much as he will.
Nice razor rc this is the kind of videos needed in the rc hobby not just driving them but passing on the knowledge of being able to fix them and set them up for racing etc.keep it up 👍😀

Does the speed controller respond to signals directly from the hand held controller, or is there a servo input into the speed controller?
bought 3 bezgar 1/12 scale and man my kids love them so do i
Wow thanks I'm going to get my first rc
how do I figure out if all my parts fit. does the scale tell you if the transmission will fit the chassis?
Awesome job..love your videos, would you be able to do some videos that explain 2wd bugy setup and how changes actually effect it on the track
Joseph Henderson it will be awhile, but I will eventually do one
@@RazorRC I watched this video earlier today and was coming back to ask the same thing as Joseph Henderson. I'm new to 2wd buggy (b6.1) and really think that video would help a lot of people out. Thanks for the content!
I'm looking at getting back into racing after 15 years and I am looking at the kyosho mp9e kit, tlr 8ight, tekno 410.2, or the TLR 22 or the TLR 4.0 or 5.0 idk lol

Dose any one no what the bolt is that holds the Steering blocks to the caster block is I need a new one but dont no what it’s called it’s a traxxas rusler vxl
What tools do you recommend and good brands?
Razor RC.
Nice explanation.
I have made drones and now I want to make a RC car from a kit. Just for kids playing.
Could you pls tell me what should I call for chassi, ESC, Motors etc on the ecommerce website while ordering?
In what combination?
Shreyas Mathuria if you want something cheap for kids, I would recommend a hobbywing quicrun 1060 ESC and a cheap 12T or 15T brushed motor. You could get an Arrma or Traxxas motor from a partout on eBay. Would go about 20mph and cost less than $50
What’s inside the spindle?
I want to buy a beginner RC kit for my son and I to work on as an ongoing project.
I know that cheap RC cars have steering that's discrete (full left, neutral, full right), which makes steering difficult.
I see in your video that the steering is controlled by a servo. Can I assume that the steering in your car is continuous (ie varying degrees of turn)?
If so, do all hobby RC kits have this better type of steering?
yes, all hobby kits have "proportional" steering, which is infinitely variable steering. the ECX Amp MT is a good, $160 kit you can build that includes everything.

Dang this thing looks cheap. Note to self dont buy a ecx haha.
