Setting everything into auto is not what I wanted to hear.
Me, personally, I left everything as default, according to the latest bios which is version 1407, I think? To my understanding, default is the most stable setting, unless you’re overclocking, which you would then need to make adjustments to keep the system stable.
@@CFHDime is it bad to overclock everything on your pc? Cause I want the best quality possible but I dont want to destroy my pc
Ninja Hype there’s a science behind it, such as voltages, flck, etc. they have to be stable. I don’t know much about it which is why I haven’t done it. Somebody who actually knows how to set it up can make it stable though and be just fine.

Pedantic note. I mention this only because this is a broad overview which includes people like myself who have almost no knowledge of how to boot from BIOS a custom built computer. This is my fist build and I was way too excited to even see the BIOS display pop up when I finally powered on for the first time. More accurately the 2nd power up, because I had not plugged in the monitor when I powered up on attempt 1 which for whatever reason was the only change I needed to make to see that beautiful BIOS. I don't care if its not 100% true, I'm chalking up a 1st power up BIOS win. Anyways. At 6:22 you mouse over the 'Ai Tweaker' tab while the 'Advanced' tab is open and being discussed. It took me an embarrassing amount of time to clear my confusion, look up and see the tab you were in at the top of the screen. I know its a tiny detail, but with close to 200k views, if even 1% of people were confused for the same reason, assuming an average time confusion roughly half as long as my best guess at how long I experienced confusion, that is 10k seconds. That does not included the time to get back on track which would be a non zero amount of time. Something to be aware for future content. I want to make it clear that I thought this was a well made and very useful tutorial that helped me, which is why I bothered making a comment at all. For the sake of symmetry and to come full circle, I will end this comment by declaring the overall theme of this comment to be, pedantic.

Hi my motherboard is not detecting my gen 3 m.2 M.2_2 slot it detecting every other drive even the one on the M.2_1 which is a gen 4 m.2, I've tried updating bios not working, I've also tried changing it to gen 3 as opposed to gen 4 its still not detecting, please help
How the fudge do I set the cpu frequency in this bios? I want to simply set the core voltage to a static max and the frequency to a simple allcore oc. Sure PBO and CTR are propably better, but still I like to at least know how to do this basic thing.

The 1.48 idle voltage is pretty high no? It's the exact same with my 5800x, just doesn't feel right having it that high.
X570 boards have always been high like that...saw it on both 3000 and 5000 series chips
My r7 runs on the the same board... at first i thought it was a problem.. but the board can handle it. But you can offset it. Thing is i think it's what 5000 series request... VID keeps requesting 1.4mV on hwinfo64 even if i offset it to 1.36mV.
My SSD which has windows 10 installed is not appearing in the boot priority, but it is in the storage information. Computer was working fine then i reset the cmos. What could be the issue here?

Thanks for the video. It's much easier to see than the small ASUS owner's manual that came with my ASUS Prime X570 PRO motherboard. I can barely read that. I put my new system together and it is running very well for several weeks. I am now about to dive into the BIOS, albeit in a small way. I'll check things over and turn the Aura off. I will likely turn that D.O.C.P. on and see how that goes. I don't plan any major overclocking. I have the AMD 3700X with a Noctua cooler, the one with the 90 mm fan.

Why does the DRAM status say 2133 Mhz even though you are at 3600 Mhz?
It picks up the correct values once DOCP is enabled and everything gets saved and rebooted.

Yes you need to download Aura sync software.

Once you connect a second monitor to your graphics card, you need to go to windows display settings and change it from there. You can find it from right clicking the home screen when logged in.

Quick question I just recently built my first PC and I’m trying to get windows 10 off my usb and install it to my SSD but none of my hard drives are showing under boot priority but they do however show up under the “storage information” on the first bios screen. Any clue how to fix?

I thought boot priority just means which storage device you want to launch first / be your main storage drive

@@zachbadr6513 i think i recently had an issue where hooking up a new hard drive made my boot drive disappear from the boot priority. I went through storage tab in advanced settings and set it to boot from that drive

@@Malovus yes, this will depend on your cpu. Ryzen "x" CPU's do not support integrated graphics. It sucked to realize ryzen 9 didn't support this.

Does it detect your DDR4 RAM speed automatically for example 3200 or 3600?
Yes it should...if you notice that it’s higher than your advertised ram speed then just manually set it to its speed
Hello, could you please confirm me if this motherboard have a 1 Gb or a 2.5 Gb ethernet port ?
It is said that it has a Intel I211-AT chip, but searching the motherboard manual, nothing talks about the LAN speed, and seaching Google about the chip, and you find as much as 1 Gb descriptions as 2.5 Gb ones... I'm a bit confused about this.

I believe you have to have a cpu that has graphics built in. Some of the Ryzen's do not, if that's what you are using.

Why do you have 3600 Mhz RAM installed but setup is using 2133 Mhz? Same finding, I had three rigs built, RIG#1 X99 MB, 8 dimm slots filled with 8x8GB 3000Mhz, 14CL but only BIOS only works when setup as 2133Mhz, RIG#2 TRX40e MB, 8 dimm slots filled with 8x16GB 3200Mhz 15CL but BIOS only works when its setup as 2133Mhz, RIG#3 being setup now PRIME x570PRO MB, 4 dimm slots filled with 4x8GB 4400Mhz 19CL but BIOS only works when its setup as 3600Mhz

I just upgraded to 3600 mhz trident z neo ram, from corsair 3200mhz, and i was wondering, when i install, to get the most out of the ram, what can i do to make that happen? Is it simply just changing from auto to 3600mhz? Do i up the voltage manually?
I know this has been awhile since you posted, but what did you end up doing with your ram in the bios? I so far just enabled docp and manually set it to 3600 mhz. HWip is still telling me it's at 1600mhz though.

The motherboard manual says the aio_pump can not be controlled via Q-Fan panel and will run at full speed.. You could just simply investigate this in the video instead of telling your guess..
in fact you can control the aio_pump speed by reducing the duty percentage

My X570 plus(WIFI) Rev X.0x running at 3.80 gigahertz AMD Rysen 9 3900X 12-Core processor, with 32gb on board memory. Has become very slow to boot either from a cold start or from a Windows 11 update. I suspect that it may be a simple BIOS setting but I'm not sure what the basic settings should be for that configuration. My boot drives infact all the onboard drives are SSDs I have a total of 3.5 TB of onboard drives, then a 5TB Segate One Touch external backup HDD.
My Video card if that is important to this issue is a NVIDIA GeForce 2060 with 3 Asus VG248 24" Monitors connected.
I do some gaming but nothing too heavy duty, mostly the Mass Effect games.
Any suggestions to help speed up my boot times, be it in BIOS or elsewherein the system would be most appreciated.

I can't set my USB flash drive in boot priority, nor does my MOBO detect USB? I have a functional USB drive, yet I'm unable to install windows through it. Which setting do i need to input in the bios to make it happen? Please assist. It's frustrating.
How do you remove a dual boot OS? I have Windows 10 and Ubuntu and they both show in this UEFI BIOS utility, buy when I'm logged into Windows it doesn't show in the System Configuration Boot tab. Which is weird because I can still boot into Ubuntu using the menu in this video.

B A L A Turns out I had to plug in both my hdmi and display chord into my graphic card and it fixed my issue.
My apologies if this has already been asked. Are you using a capture card to capture the BIOS screen? I'm tired of using a camera, and I can't find any straightforward answers on elgato capture cards being used to capture the BIOS screen. Any help would be appreciated.

I tried to set my memory from 2666 to 3600 MHz like it has on the box. | black screen | Power off | Power plug out | panel off | battery out | wait 10sec | battery in | Power plug back in | Power on | made it to BIOS | save and exit | boot to windows | panel on | back at 2666 MHz | fuck that just wasted an hour learning how to clear CMOS. Now thinking about trying 3200 MHz I could probably Clear CMOS faster now that I know how to......... Nah! fuck that, I’m gonna go play my game with my 2666 MHz and act like I never seen this video. The software used for Aura (lightingservices.exe or something like that) has been known to trigger anti-cheats and bans. If Aura is disabled at a BIOS level, does the software remain in the background for Windows, functionally useless, or does it not run at all? Now that Aura is part of Armoury Crate, I'm wondering if it's possible to disable Aura and not have those components run, even with Armoury Crate installed.

Just built using the Asus prime x570-p. Attached all components, plugged keyboard into the mobo mounted USB 2.0 and can't get into the bios at all. It is posting and gives me the Asus logo with hit f2 or delete but nothing works. Keyboard tested on another machine and works fine
Had the same with my Asus TUF X570 hold f2 rather than mashing it until you see the logo then tap it again

One of my issues was that my hard drives (all of them) were in MBR partition mode. This is outdated. GPT is the newer more compatible mode for hard drives. You can convert you hard using a mbr to gpt converter, even without data loss. Hope this helps

Sorry to disturb but i am really in a tensed situation. Gig is tuf gaming plus mb 5900x bios is 2607 ram 4 by 16 gb g skill f4 3600c16q 64gvkc the issue is when I try to enable the docp profile 1 via bios and save it does not power on then i do cmos reset i also tried to manually put profile in ai tweaker where i put 3600 and fclk to 1800 still no help
