    Sorry man I didn't stick in for the whole video, I was having issues setting up my x570 board with Verizon 5600x turns out I forgot the CPU power card I forgot to power it and it was only by watching your video I figured that out so thank you thank you very much you got to sub and you got to like 😎😎👍🏾👍🏾👌🏾👌🏾

      No worries about watching the whole thing. I'm glad you got your issue figured out and my video was able to help! Wishing you all the best with your new build :)

      @Mohamed Salem, thanks for watching! So far, the wireless experience has been incredible! Not only am I able to play games such as Call of Duty Warzone without any latency issues, the fact that the motherboard also includes a Bluetooth adapter. That has been key. I've connected an Xbox controller and my new Logitech MX Master 3 mouse using Bluetooth instead of having to use a USB port with a wireless dongle. Love it! Are you considering using wireless network at your place?

    Having the same thoughts about the (3) 4-pin cpu connection. My 600W psu is non modular and only runs (2) 4 pin wires. Can I leave the extra connection empty assuming I don't need to get into overclocking? Or would it be possible to add a 4 pin wire to a non modular psu? Still very new to PC building

    • @JohnLCharette
      @JohnLCharette  8 месяцев назад

      Firstly, welcome to PC building. I call it adult Legos ;)
      Secondly, no, you cannot add an additional 4pin CPU power cable to a non-modular power supply. I'm sure someone will say 'you could', but it isn't safe and do not recommend attempting it. Power supplies can be lethal if opened due to a build up of energy stored inside them.
      Lastly, yes you can absolutely use just 2x4pin CPU power cables for your motherboard if you aren't overclocking it. I've done it and works great. Good luck with your build.

    Wow, so you didn't need to reinstall windows? Everything still running fine months later? Any weird chips etc issues or anything? Considering same swap x470 to x570.

      I was just as surprised! Nope, not changes required. Just booted up and everything worked perfectly. Why are you considering the switch?

      I recommend checking the Asus website for a full list of 100% compatible memory. Here's the list for the TUF X570-Pro (Wifi): www.asus.com/motherboards-components/motherboards/tuf-gaming/tuf-gaming-x570-pro-wi-fi/helpdesk_qvl_memory?model2Name=TUF-GAMING-X570-PRO-WI-FI

    I have Asus x470 pro with Ryzen 7 2700, corsair vengeance 2x16 3200 (bought separately) and 4GB 1050 Ti. After I set the ram frequency to 3200 from default 2333, I lost 2 ram slots which I used for dual channel configuration.
    Now, I want to upgrade to x570 pro. Will it be good for above configuration?

    • @JohnLCharette
      @JohnLCharette  Год назад +1

      @Mohsin, yes you can absolutely use that configuration with X570. I don't understand how you lost 2 ram slots by increasing the ram frequency. Most boards should have 4 ram slots, and you are using two 16gb sticks?

    • @Mohsinbagban
      @Mohsinbagban Год назад

      @@JohnLCharette Thank you very much for your response. Yes, I'm using 2x16 3200. Motherboard has 4 slots. The two I used for dual channel configuration are no longer usable. I am using remaining two but they don't provide dual channel. That's why I'm thinking of upgrading to something which can handle.

    • @JohnLCharette
      @JohnLCharette  Год назад +1

      Which brand/model motherboard are you using? As far as I know, all X470 motherboards support dual channel configurations for all 4 RAM slots. 1 + 3 is one channel, and then 2 + 4 is another channel. If you let me know which motherboard you are using, I can confirm.

    • @Mohsinbagban
      @Mohsinbagban Год назад

      @@JohnLCharette Asus Prime x470 pro. I had used 2+4 for dual channel configuration because earlier I had problems with 1st channel while I was using only 1x16 stick with overclock 3200. Then after using 2x16 stick in 2+4, 4th slot got fried. Now I use 2x16 in single channel in 2+3 slots.

      @JohnLCharette  Год назад +1

      Oh darn. Yeah, that sounds like a faulty motherboard. But yes, I answer your original question, an X570 motherboard will work perfectly with your setup. No concerns. What brand/model are you considering?
