    I picked this up for work. My last one was smaller ruclips.net/user/postUgkxtD9aJ2m6GU-X1IChQxjn9l31K1A7Kpwj and cuter but the motor burned out within a few months. This one's footprint is a tad bigger but it still doesn't eat up a lot of desk space. Its size and shape blends into the background nicely. This has a good size water container so I don't need to refill more than once a week. I use filtered (not distilled) water because cleaning up after our hard water is tough at work. I like that this has several settings. It's also very quiet. (I have a silence naxi in the next cubicle.) It also hasn't left that terrible while powder, so far, that some humidifiers leave. Been using this for a month or so now and am very happy with my purchase.

    I have a Resmed airsense 10 that I used a lot. My only issue with this machine is that the water tank leaks after several months of use. I replaced my tank 3 times since I have it 2 - 3 years ago. I am just lucky that the VA provide the replacement tank and mask for free.

    • @TheMightsparrow
      @TheMightsparrow Год назад +1

      Check the seal on the humidifier and DON'T overfill it.
      That's the biggest reason why they leak.
      Use desalinated water instead of tap water.
      That's why your tank needs replacing.
      I've been using same tank for over 2 years,still works like the day I got it.

    Question: Air Sense10. Is there a way to shut off the SmartStart function???? My client is unable to know to remove the mask if her mask loses it's seal and she moves. Machine shuts off after 3-5 seconds while the mask is still on her..........can't this be suffocating? How do we address this?

    Have had this for just over a year, and it's driving me snakey! It started making a howling/whining noise in time with my breathing and it's infuriating - I've had it back to the supplier who first told me they replaced the blower (!), and it worked for a week, and then started the noise again - whether they replaced it or not I can't say for sure, but the damn thing is howling again, and this is not just a problem with my specific unit because others have reported the same problem. It costs a bloody fortune and the manufacturer should get this sorted out! Up until this problem arose I was delighted with it, but now I strongly recommend AGAINST IT! RESMED, FIX THIS FRIGGING PROBLEM!!

    This question is a little different than the topic of this video....But does the Resmed machine have defective blowers in them? The machine I have is 9 months old (bought Brand new), there's is a humming noise which I am been told is the blower been defective. I gave it for repairs as it's still under warranty, Resmed wouldn't do repair cuz the blower has "water damage"!! WTF is that supposed to mean?!?!... I never got water in that machine...are they trying to rip me off?!

    • @grandmajane2593
      @grandmajane2593 7 месяцев назад

      It's because it is extremely difficult to insert the filled tank without some of the water overflowing the shorter back wall of the tank. I have been tipping the machine down and the tank up, so that the water is mostly at the front until I get the tank placed into the machine. Sorry if it's confusing. Wish i could draw you a picture of the odd shaped tank. You may have gotten a bit of water in it without realizing it.

    Airsense 10 heating problem? I have the Airsense 10, climate line air heated tubing and the AirFit F30 mask. My setting are 27c and humidity level 4 and my room is kept at 22c. The problem is I have condensation in my mask in the morning and I have the feeling the air coming to my mouth is colder then the air I breath in the room without my mask. Is that normal? I tried 2 different tubing with same result. Is that normal to have condensation in my situation and that the air seem colder then the air I breath in the room? If that part of the machine is defective, would the machine give me some sort of error message?

      If you look inside the front page of your booklet it will show the two hoses for the machine. One if them has a little nub on one end of it to pop your oxygen tube on. Only trouble is Medicare won't pay for it. I had to buy mine privately, it was 67. dollars.

      @@DJrocktheboat - I don't believe you are familiar with the AirSense 10 water tank. It is shorter in the back than the front. When it is filled to the black fill mark I have to be very careful no water runs over the back wall of the container. I understand if water gets in to the insides of the machine than it shorts out. But the bottom line of this is that I do fill it to the black full mark. The tank is too small and not very well designed. Actually I noticed the water last about 4 hours. I can fill it again in the middle of the night if I'm not too groggy.

    Absolute waste of money, don't buy one, It has a terrible odor straight out of the factory. The machine triggered asthma attacks, migraine headaches, and prolonged nasal congestion when I used it.
    The heater is inadequate. I have the heat set to the max, 86 F, and wake up with a very cold nose even with the heated tube and a tube wrap, and humidifier. The odor is really the major problem, I suspect the plastic chemical odor indicates it is made with high VOC compounds,
