My air sense 10 has been working without fail for nearly 7 years. Still provides CPAP function, but on line MyAir system just stopped working. Nor record of any data for the last 2 weeks. Checked machine set up, no changes. Unit has Airplane switch set to "Off." Any idea what is wrong with it? Help would be appreciated. Jack Blanke Metairie, LA
I have watched about 20 videos on this subject now and not ONE of them actually puts a mask on and turns on the machine!! I want to know what sound it makes!!
It doesn't make a sound unless your tubing becomes dislodged, then you'll hear a jet stream of air. It has a faint ventilation sound when you breath in; like a low popping noise but it's otherwise silent.
The device is very complex, not easy to learn how to use. The humidifier seems to deliver plastic particles inside the lungs, which is an element of concern. Can we use it without it?
Get your hands on a "side cover plate" that routes the airflow out of the machine through to the back connection of the machine. I live in the US and was able to get one from ebay. Good luck.
