Does this newer model provide the same full range of reports that the previous S10 model does? My doctor needs to generate printouts that I have to submit annually for job-related medical certification. I'm ready to replace my older unit, but I want to make sure I don't create any new headaches with regard to reports.
Do you know what humidity/ tube temp setting would provide maximum humidity without causing rainout? I live in a very dry climate and the auto humidity setting is not enough humidity for me but when I try and use manual setting. I get rain out during my sleep or whistling, hissing begins which wakes me up?
The replacement filters are different from the ones that come with the unit. No changing instructions are provided with the machine. Does the rough or smooth side of the filters face the machine at the air outlet?
Hi! For most CPAP machines, when replacing filters, the smooth side of the filter should face toward the machine (air outlet), while the rough side faces outward (air intake). However, it’s always best to double-check with the specific manual for your machine or search online for a digital manual, as filter types and placements may vary.
My test drive says that the seal is good but a few seconds later, it says it needs adjusting. I have done all I can to fix this but it still keeps saying the same thing when I test it. It worked fine when I was tested with it in the clinician’s office. New user FYI
Hi! If your CPAP mask seal isn't holding, try adjusting it while the machine is on- you'll hear the difference! Also, check for leaks around the mask and ensure it fits snugly but not too much. If issues persist, reach out to the retailer where you bought it for help they can adjust your machine remotely as well.
Hi! Most CPAP machines can be used without water, but it’s generally recommended to use water with the humidifier to prevent dryness and irritation. The humidifier helps add moisture to the air, which can make breathing more comfortable, especially in dry environments. However, if you’re okay without the added moisture or are traveling and don’t want to bring water along, you can usually run the CPAP without it and distilled water is recommended.
My new machine turns off while I have a good mask seal. Took the machine back to the DME company three times . First they changed the power cord, next they disabled the auto start/ stop and supposedly gave me a new machine. A few days later the machine stopped , waking me up. It restarted in 20 seconds. A day later it stopped and didn't restart until I took off the mask and put it back. The DME provider tells me they can tell from their computer that there is nothing wrong. That I should leave the auto stop/start feature off. The manufacturer tells me to have the DME provider check the machine. I don't think the DME TECH for this provider knows how to. Any advice would be appreciated.
Same with mine. I wondered if it's because I don't have the heated tubing, just a basic transparent one. Got my machine through the VA so I'm not sure if it's a slightly different machine or what, but I'd love to be able to warm up the freezing cold air that's blasting on my mouth all night long, there's no way I can fall asleep with this cold air.

I'm on my 3rd CPAP machine and this is the biggest piece of shit I've ever owned. The sleep center has set it up and made adjustments 3 times. They say the data says it's working great, but my wife says I sleep with my mouth open
Sounds like a full face mask or a chin strap may be something to think about here. Also most people open their mouths when they are congested, so that could also be a factor.
@@TheKeithHicks I had to Google it. Found some really gentle piece of material that worked. During the titration test in the sleep lab the tech made me wear something akin to duct tape! It was awful to peel off. all good now though.

I received my machine almost a month ago. Setup was easy, all the presets work for me, and the breakdown to clean is simple.

When selecting My Options on my Resmed Airsense 11 it doesn't have Climate Control or Tube Settings. Only Ramp Time and Humidy Level.
