What I've noticed that works really well is if you set the front brakes to 2-3 and back to 10, along with a 140 handbrake and racing tires on the back, you can pretty much beat everybody. Also, if you set the suspension and alignment for grip racing, it will make the car incredibly stable. I can actually use my RX-7 on Hokkiado and win races.
I like both the Mazda RX-7 FC3S, And the Mazda RX-7 FD3S. Because they're usually my favorite Japanese retro sports cars from the 80's and 90's. 💙💙 FC3S: 1985. / FD3S: 1992.
this game is the alternative to initial D for ps2 since there wasn't a US release of initial D on ps2... and i believe the racer series was similar to wangan max tune. Great game, hard to control the drift (needs practice), and my tv sucks so at night, its pitch black!
@PetsbudNasia The thing you have to realize is that too much power can often turn on you, and since this game takes place up in the hills/mountains, instead of power concentrate more on transmission settings, LSD, brakes, suspension, reinforcements, and weight reduction with moderate power. I have an Integra, non turbo, valued at 212 hp and I'm whooping cars that have 350+ horsepower. And before you begin drifting, quickly take into account the angle, then tap the brake then e brake to turn.
just what i said when i found out it existed 2 minutes ago on a video of the first game that didnt have license for the cars and made for dreamcast... They could take 2 years to get the best cars together and make the best tuning game ever for PS3/360/PC !!! I'ma see if this exists for PC to download NOW!
Why is it that you only get lvl 3 parts of your engine and not the best, lvl 5? Also how do you know what companies for the parts are most compatible with each other? thanks for the help, i just started this game
@PetsbudNasia search for the game faqs.. i saw one toyota trueno drift tuning.. then i apply it on my car.. it works... but you have to adjust the gear ratio. sample: fr only initial torque:5 LSD ratio:5 Suspension spring rate: 1/1 stabilizer: -1/1 ride height: -6/-6 Alignment camber: 0,30' / 0,30' Other brake 4/6 TCS: off ABS: 5 *test spin your car.. then tune your brakes/handbrakes if find something wrong. work on adjusting your gear ratios day and night...
do somebody know how to unlock gold cups and other roads in conquest mod? i cleard all the races but the gold cups because they are locked and somebody noticed that the brakes doesnt work in nissan 180sx?
i have the game and been playing it for a long time but i still cant figure out to drift very well. i have an fd and i try to tune it but all i end up is zig-zagging the car. help lol
can u make vidieo with drifting like that with controller in your hands record yourself with phone or something :D beacuse i am pretty sure its a wheel..
Otac Oceva This video was taken in 2009 - I haven't played much since then. But I've never used a wheel for racing... not in this game or Gran Turismo.
+Brian Stalter You should try. The FFB is so strong at times ( with DFP) that I have to stop playing ( I like to body sculpture my self and it puts my upper half into atrophied and I have to skip a workout and rest) coz I play hard. there are hot keys to reduce FFB (slightly) and set rotation to 180 or 900 on the dfp (original wheel) its totally worth it. Genki made the drifting pendulumish and it feels horrible at first, but it becomes nothing but rewarding as you get used to it. TXRD1 only has 180 degrees on wheel though, and if you try and hot key it to 900, you get a massive dead zone that makes it unplayable.

Man this game looks intense. It is everything that modern games are missing out. I wish they would make one for PS3/360
@ps3tagup789 IIRC it is called Kaido Racer 2 in European countries.
I like both the Mazda RX-7 FC3S, And the Mazda RX-7 FD3S.

@PetsbudNasia BTW, just be sure you're using manual transmission. Automatic just kills most drifts you try to do

Epic Music and game wow impressive.

Cool tuning. I like the music also, is it in the game? I haven't heard it yet.
a little body roll helps 4wds because drifting g force is diagonal, but i agree with your settings in a rwd car
why springs and dampers so hard ?
ありがとうございます!!
I wish you wouldve tested your cars in an actual course so we can get an actual look at how it drives

@whyspyder not really, i turned off tcs, steeering is very wide, and im not sure but i think the alignment is messed up for me

@boomskillet The FD has to be unlocked.
@whyspyder i could pm you my setups for my fd. it's not the the spirit type r rx7 by the way. im using the older version for the rx7 fd
What is that song that is playing in garage?
@davejcarter

dnt know why
this is the newst game of them
@davejcarter yeah all people seem to care about now is graphics. Better graphics = less content/bad gameplay physics. I loved this game for the PS2.
what does the winker tune do? -__-
take it to happogahara and lets see what you can do, anyone can drift the gymkhana. I need to upload some of my rx-7 drifting videos.
When are you online RUclips and where do you from
@whyspyder and how do you lower sensitivity on the steering? Making it negative or positive?
y do you use only lvl3 parts on engine and not lvl 5
ok i gotta noob question how did u get the fd in new dealer? when i go to mazda dealership the fc is there but not the fd?
@PetsbudNasia search for the game faqs..
i saw one toyota trueno drift tuning..
then i apply it on my car..
it works... but you have to adjust the gear ratio.
sample: fr only
initial torque:5
LSD ratio:5
Suspension
spring rate: 1/1
stabilizer: -1/1
ride height: -6/-6
Alignment
camber: 0,30' / 0,30'
Other
brake 4/6
TCS: off
ABS: 5
*test spin your car.. then tune your brakes/handbrakes if find something wrong.
work on adjusting your gear ratios day and night...
