- My first time drifting in Roblox, this time without a steering wheel but I will be trying to make my wheel work in Roblox soon. Joined a random drift game called Prodigy Drift. The graphics honestly are surprisingly good for a free game. If you know better Roblox games, let me know!

If ur gonna play prodigy drift then press m to switch transmission and use e to upshift and q to downshift. But if ur gonna play solitary its automatically switched to semi auto. Also in some games theres a controls section to change keybinds

drifting paradise is not good. Prodigy Drift is probably the best game for drifting.

I highly recommend playing "walltap". The graphics are insane , the physics are a bit harder but more realistic , the game makes you use semi auto (manual but no clutch), the cars are really beautiful (you can't modify them but they are already tuned to perfection). I'd be happy you try it
theres only like a couple of issues about the game. The camera is weird and takes a bit of time to get used to and one of the tracks have terrible clipping and will bury you if you go slightly off track. other than that its pretty good

With a couple of external apps I can pretty easily set up my G29 on Roblox. I'm assuming it's the same for most steering wheels so I can show you one of the best ways to set it up if you'd like.
Edit: Xbox controllers work very nicely too and are set up automatically. Probably better than using a steering wheel (for Roblox).

Theres a drift game called "$olitary" but its kind of arcadey and not very tuneable, but it looks great and is fun. "Midnight Racing: Tokyo" is more of a grinding and generally racing type game and drifting requires you to tune a car to be able to drift well and its more on the difficult side
Imo midnight racing Tokyo is only good game at roblox
Play Redline drifting and give me your thoughts. It's really hard to master.

driving empire is no espacially a drift game but you can put body kits on your car. you can tune them like crazy with nitro, turbo and motor and there are over 50 cars! try it!

you should definetely try Drift Paradise, it's an arcade drifter but just as fun as any other drift game

You really need to visit Solitary or Drift paradise. Driving simulator also has somewhat decent drifting physics but it's mostly portraying Asphalt 8 type of handling

Goosiest, great great seeing you finally take a sight in roblox drifting, about the 180sx it will come out on the next update. And also the reason that you were struggling with holding the drift were because you had it on automatic mode which tends to put you on lower gear, you can either change it to semi or manuel (able to clutch kick if you do that)
The first two gears also very short why he couldn’t hold a corner more than lack of power
Yo Goose, you can try Midnight Racing Tokyo, its a racing sim-cade where you can buy and customize and tune between 140+ different unique cars to drive or drift in a virtual recreation of Tokyo, Japan with its huge fast roads and wide mountain passes. Upgrade and modify your vehicle to advance in the ranks. The game is still in development. There will be a lot more things to do and a lot more places to explore in the final product. For now, the game is in Pre-Alpha, so expect bugs and unfinished features. Hope you find it fun! Anyways, good day.

Yes mrt is really good, because they have tuning options and that means some cars will be able to drift if I am not wrong

Yo Goose, you can press p or space-bar(you can check in the controls bar) for handbrake when you initiate a drift so it's easier to slide and also if you're about to oversteer press p to bring the car back to keep it sliding :D

I recommend drive world more car selections and you can grind by driving, drifting, getting air, races, and deliveries.
You should use the Mazda rx7 in prodigy drift because I have it stock and runs really smooth, also you cannot do 360 in prodigy drift for some reason. If you want to do 360 you should play drift paradise. The controls are kind of wack because it is arcade style but you can throw some 360s. Also great video!

Graphics in Roblox clips are normally bad because people are playing on 10 year old computers and phones.
Roblox is By design intended to run on lower end devices and the graphics options in the menu are there to help it do so. Devs may also include options for their game to disable certain enviroment items as well

i can tell youone thing, Prodigy is the BEST drift game on Roblox, hearing this from an experienced Prodigy player, i have all cars fully tuned to my liking and have played this game since it launched. Btw when ur in the customization shop go onto the things you wanna customize and scroll with your scroll wheel then itl reveal much more options for you

try midnight racing, its not actually that much of a drift game but you can do things like clutch kicking and 360s and other stuff you can also adjust transmission weight ecu and other stuff
Irl and in-game automatic cars will not shift into the next gear if you break loose and also in high rpm in-game this to keep the player in a smooth drift irl this is to save the driver incase let's say u hydroplan or slip on ice just to prevent any unnecessary increase of throttle which u don't wanna do u wanna slow down
If you try this game again, you can switch to Mouse steering by pressing R, then the gas is leftclick, brake is rightclick, and handbrake might also switch to shift im not sure. but i play a lot of drift games on roblox and i find mouse steering so much easier.
Also the developer group that made this game has a goose as their icon, so this is an amazing coincidence
Also because of how steering assist is programmed into most these games, 360s are just not gonna work out.

The quality of games on roblox depends on the effort the developers put into them. Some games can be very realistic in functions, graphics, sounds and much more.

I used X360ce on my old computer (Now on linux) to make the game think my wheel was a controller and that worked fine!
Drift paradise is underrated, everytime you turn, you almost lose control but you can gain back control with handbrake.
just press m to go into manual or semi then press e and q e:shift up, q:shift down, shift into 3 gear for small to get angle and long turn go into 4th

For literally every single Roblox game I play I use controller, especially car games because it feels smoother, you can feather the throttle more smoothly than you can on keyboard because you can vary throttle inputs as well.
Use controller. It's just better.
Also the reason 360's are hard is because most Roblox drift games have this annoying auto counter-steer feature, which is why in a lot of games, if you manage to spin 180, your wheels are literally inside out, and the game tries to automatically correct the wheels which is very slow and is truly a pain.
you should totally try Midnight Racing : Tokyo. It's like a mix of Wangan Midnight and Initial D, plus the cars actually have decent physics

Hey, Goose, i got Dope cars game. It's called "Midnight Racing: Tokyo". It's still in pre-alpha, but it's great. You can throw 360's ofc. But it's more of racing game, than drifting. Cars tune is great. You can't (sadly) tune cars power for now (developers working on it), but you can set up your suspention and gearbox. There's more than 50-100 cars. I'm pretty sure you'll find your favourite one) I hope you'll like it, good luck!

if you get x360 emulator, you can set up your wheel as if it is a xbox controller, I use it to play roblox car games on my g923, just set accel ped as right trigger, left left and right steering, brake is left trigger, clutch right bumper, other buttons you can mess with like added hand break, shifter (sometimes) and if you dont wanna use a shifter and wanna use paddles to shift, Y for up, X for down.

Suggestion: one of the best drift games in roblox is Midnight racing there is 3 cities and at those 3 cities have other maps(some hard, some easy) and works with steering wheel and control

Redline Drifting - Cons: none
Indonesia Driver - Cons: In Indonesia people drive on the left side. a lot of people drive on the right in this game. Also the only drift car in the game is the most expensive costing 5 million IDR.
I recommend making ur car have more horse power it makes u drift easily
