I liked U2 so much when i was little, I have even created a fake teaser for U3 on my channel. (But in Unity, not Unreal5). After seeing this, perhaps next time I will also try to create one in Unreal.
I already knew a little about the proposal behind the development of this new game and it's impressive. One thing I particularly want to see is the addition of more Vinyls to customize the cars.

Hell yeah. Lets goo. It's so crazy to see how still good and strong the need for speed underground community is. This remastered project looks stellar. Im Loving the new graphics for this game. So beautiful the world and cars looks
I have A LOT of thoughts on this First of all, the game looks great, while also staying unbelieveably faithful to the original. Vehicle handling is also pretty much spot-on. Optimization is also very solid, I am pulling 90+ fps maxed out (300+ with FXAA, the more advanced AA methods are taxing but look wayy better) on an RX 6600 XT / R5 5600 rig. The demo is honestly more impressive than I thought. I did NOT expect full customization for every car in the game to be available in the initial release. I am a bit worried about them distributing all the original assets (including music and licensed cars). But I guess NFSU2 is abandonware at this point and EA doesn't care about it so maybe it's fine (??) What I'm really excited for is that this can be a really solid base for modding in the future. We could have more cars, better models/textures, maybe even additional race/event types. All without the limitations of the ancient NFSU2 engine.

@@GodisGood941 define potato then
@ nowadays anything with less than 16gb of vram and 32gb or ram is probably defined as one
Man, we need some graphic makers to repaint the cutscenes in HQ and a motion designer to animate it same way as the OG and you'll get not only the gameplay, but the cutscene videos remaked.
I hope the modder won't leave it and will bring the remake to the end!
Ik this is still incomplete but, damn! I already feel like the old game is holding back this one in a way. Like old nfsu2 can be completed in a day, and has only about 30 cars if I remember correctly. I hope they add mod support so people can extend the scope of this remake even more.
Just wait for that Cease and Desist... sadly.
I liked U2 so much when i was little, I have even created a fake teaser for U3 on my channel.
(But in Unity, not Unreal5). After seeing this, perhaps next time I will also try to create one in Unreal.
Giving us what EA won't, sweet baby jesus yes! Gotta love modders who get tired of waiting for big companies to listen to us! 😍
I already knew a little about the proposal behind the development of this new game and it's impressive. One thing I particularly want to see is the addition of more Vinyls to customize the cars.
Its not a mod, but a total remaster made in Unreal5
....tapping my feet, waiting another 5 years for OG MW. 😉
Yeah I can't get over that slight blue tint/hue coating on the white paint in UG2, either. Glad I'm not the only one!
Can't wait to try this tho, gotta download it now!
@@STRIDER_503 did you have any problems running it?
when a fan made remaster looks better then the actuall games xD
man, the jump from the last build looks fantastic, i hope they fix the windows and such, wonder if they gonna upscale the cutscenes with idk, ¿ai? idk idk, and make the final boss gets challenging, just hope the best for the dev!!!
THANK YOU ! it's a lot of work we gon smoke this !!!!!
Paintjobs will be very easy to do in the end, for now, this is great!
Bruh obvioulsy is smooth, you have the equivalent of a NASA COMPUTER (ryzen 5900x and rtx4090) I am sure my Ryzen 5700u will cry. I dont care XD
lol fr
NFSU2 as we all remember it looking back in the day...
Glad I’m not the only one who wears gloves when using the PS5 controller
Hell yeah. Lets goo. It's so crazy to see how still good and strong the need for speed underground community is. This remastered project looks stellar. Im Loving the new graphics for this game. So beautiful the world and cars looks
Honestly I like the old version more 💀
I have A LOT of thoughts on this
First of all, the game looks great, while also staying unbelieveably faithful to the original.
But I guess NFSU2 is abandonware at this point and EA doesn't care about it so maybe it's fine (??)
What I'm really excited for is that this can be a really solid base for modding in the future. We could have more cars, better models/textures, maybe even additional race/event types. All without the limitations of the ancient NFSU2 engine.
Final release will require end-users to import assets from their copy of UG2
