ive seen it quite a bit while tuning my Barstow to go to 5.4 seconds in the quarter mile the easiest way to get it is to bind the activate nitro button and spray nitro while cranking the engine to start it with the nitro shot maxed out edit: course im using an xtreme adjustable shot size to 5000 kw, from meo's nitrous mod
He clearly doesn't know what he's doing with engines, tuning, fuel, metallurgy, ECT... this has been a painful watch, and I'm less than 6 minutes in still 😅
My dad was a merchant engineer. He worked on engines where it took two people on a 10 foot rod to un-torque a head bolt. You had to climb down a flight of stairs to get to the crank. Any amount of horsepower is possible.
It seems like you don't understand how to manually rev the engine with the newer test controls, you have to increase both the throttle AND the RPM sliders to rev the engine. They split the function into two separate halves, you were literally just opening the throttle with the engine still spinning only at idle speeds. Which is why it sounded like a jet engine, you weren't hearing the actual engine reving, just the chargers spooling.
seeing you leave the compression ratio at 12.2:1 bothers me, lowering compression ratio will help make it WAY more reliable, just a lot less efficient and powerful lol
Actually, there's a sweet spot with compression ratio, too high and it makes less power, sometimes more fuel economy and raising the knock risk. Less compression, less knock risk and less fuel economy, potentially more power because less energy is spent compressing mixture during exhaust and compression stroke than is lost from lowering the compression.
@sebastiancalderonpacheco8218 its a high ratio for sure, not sure how well the game captures the reality of it. Neither do i fully understand nitrometh fuel
The scary part is that that thing is more then double the size as an rolls Royce Merlin engine And almost double the size as an DB603 (In displacement)
Why did you write out “ten thousand three hundred horsepower and eleven thousand four hundred foot pounds of torque” instead of “10,300 horsepower and 11,400 foot pounds of torque”
Imagine your enige blows up, piston rods fail, cylinder heads fail, all cause you turned it over more than 6 times a minute. *update* WTF IS THAT MATH IT’S 30 TIMES DW MY BRAIN IS FINE
13:36 if you wanted bigger tires you could've used advanced trim settings in the trim body sellection, it's a red gear icon just above the left pointing arrow in that section 😂
Absolutely, engines that would be close to this that do exist on cruise ships use either diesel or compressed gas. Would have solved a lot of the excessive torque problems too.
autoflux u did basically what i realized within 5 seconds of tuning with the bottom end i was like oh forged heavy conrods and forged heavy pistons the way to go for 10k+ hp
I've found with that bus model the engine tends to hang too low at the back which is what makes it feel like ice, idk a solution for it as of yet, but otherwise cylinders melting and all an awesome engine
i made this myself when the update first came out, it goes through a full fuel tank in a few minutes and the internal engine temperatures reach over 5000*c
I still haven't managed to make a twincharged engine optimized for power that doesn't melt the walls cylinder walls. Pretty sure something's wrong with the temperature simulation.
I think some top fuel dragsters can make in the thousands of HP. And using only 8 cylinders. Thing is physics dictates they can only last for a mile or two and burn gallons of fuel per minute. So it's really not good for anything other then living 1/4 mile at a time. Granted that 3 second ish 300mph 1/4 mile must be quite a blast to experience.
How’d you get the new forced induction update to appear in game??? The update was released but absolutely nothing is different when it comes to the options of forced induction in Automation. I’ve been trying to figure it out for a couple days now.
I made one of these monster V16's but I could only get it to fit into a Bus MOD body (it does +240mph) and it makes 6700hp will all green's on engine stress's , I wish thy would add more engine materials that can hold up to power or let up make the engines bigger/ have like W16's or something Also Ive never seen the other turbo options before
What if you did a version of this engine but used mods and/or editing to force the engine to be 100% reliable? If you had parts made of adamantium what would the power get to?
Never fully blew up but also you layin into the rev limiter cut power as the cylinder walls kept failing due to coolant issue. Short shifting it might have been able to see what it can do in a later taller gear.
Bugatti managed to make a twin/quad turbo V-16. Granted it cost more then an average house just to do standard maintenance is is proven to work. From what I gather they somehow fused two VW V-8's together. IIRC it makes over 1000hp and a top speed like approaching 300mph. See no reason to make it any larger lol.
Next time turn the boost down on the super charger and more boost to turbos turbos make power high into the rpm and less torque might be able to make it make more
I was doing a compound setup on ny V10 today, and i dont know why or how, but somehow i managed to make it 5al with 0 cam profile and 850Hp.. im only somewhat confused
Will that fit in my Honda?
With some light modding, yes
it will become the Honda
cut compression to lowest point 6.0:1 or 7.0:1 and more fuel will help cool the engine and run 110 oktane gasoline
We'll make it fit.
it might fit in a Porsche...
if that Porsche is a VK45.01
your engine did not blow up, you ran out of fuel lol
This thing makes fuel dissapear
I have made a 1l 4banger on 5,1bar boost/ 97.xxx psi the fuel flow is max 0.3 L/s even with a moded fuel tank of 120L I get only 36km out of it 😅
thats what im saying
He made a 10 second engine as in it guzzles the entire tank in 10s
@@piscessoedroen Physics is a bitch.
19:34 it didnt blew up, it ran out of gas!!!
The engine did not blew up even once, it just ran out of gas!
I know what's wrong with it. It ain't got no gas in it!
This thing actually burns through gas faster than a drag engine lol

17:57 "The gearing is lazy" says he as traction control fights for its life like never before.
if you werent running nitro methane you could actually play with the turbos, nitro just exponentially raises compression
on top of a 14.3:1 compression ratio yeah, cylinder pressures were RIDICULOUS
edit: 12.2:1, still high
Also, compound turbos are kinda broken and make more empower if you go lower cam profile.

this has been a feature for a long time and looking at his experience in automation im 99% sure he knows this
18:28 was the smoothest drift an automatic bus could ever do
The long wheelbase, dualies at the back and 75 % of the weight behind the rear axle, increasing the rotational inertia, helps, i think.
your engine didnt die tho, your just running out of fuel that fast
Call this engine the magician because it makes fuel disappear
Turn the compression ratio down when you add the boost!
seeing you leave the compression ratio at 12.2:1 bothers me, lowering compression ratio will help make it WAY more reliable, just a lot less efficient and powerful lol

lowering compression would probably be the easiest way to nerf that engine enough that it's useful
Hear me out : will it fit in a miata
You mean the miata will fit in the engine
Not in, maybe on 😂
yeah if you stretch the hood by 50km then maybe
The engine is bigger than the entire miata.
Anything is possible with a welder and sheet metal 😂
17:41 from what I have gathered there is an issue with supercharged automation vehicles. Even reasonable builds overheat and blow the piston rings.
The issue is there on compound sequential turbos as well, probably an issues with high boost low rpm scenarios
Automation needs an ECU update next. Gimme them fuel maps
they actually updated it a bit i think, you can now adjust the ratio (to a degree), the [some symbol] area, as well as the timing
21:00 Shifts up from 1st to 4th gear. Near ZERO dip in revs.
12:46
...go round and round? 😅

Better put bunch of street plates under it for any accidental wheelie

Increasing the offset of the wheels allows you to increase the tire width.
The fact that that engine was making ten thousand three hundred horsepower and eleven thousand four hundred foot pounds of torque is ridiculous

Unfortunately it starts at 3 cylinders
I hope they add inline 8, flat 8 and 12, v4, v2, single cylinders, and flatheads soon. It would also be cool to change crank degree too.
12:48 THE WHEELS ON THE BUS GO ROUND AND ROUND

Turbos are killing it. I made over 12k hp and 11300lbs torque with just a super charger.
17:11 "lets revv it up!" *revvs the radiator*"
Now we need to be able to export our engines to Sprocket, because this would DEFINITELY be enough to make a Maus go 40 kph
this engine has more displacement than most fuel tanks lmao.
They're gonna need to add Vibranium as a building material to support these mega engines.
I want a shirt that says "the wheels on the bus don't just go round and around. They work"
