Got any suggestions on where I should go next? Let me know!!!
Welcome to iTripReport's flight reviews, which I focus on reviewing both the soft product and hard product of airlines around the globe. I strive to give you guys a first person perspective of different aspects of the flight. Including the ground service, onboard service, and those views that come with the flight. As you can see, I record quite a lot of the experience to make sure I record what you want to watch. As always, thank you so much for watching.
About time Rockwell Collins improved their lavatories!
What was the issue with them?? I don't keep up on these fine details since I don't fly as much as some of you
i like how alaska isnt afraid to say that is a max
I agree. Lean in.
Fr
So you can not die
That's me in the red jacket at 7:03 :)
Very epicly epic
Can't wait to fly on the Max 9 in the future. I'm definitely comfortable flying on the max. Proud Boeing employee in the 737 program.
@@RealKevGotEm Nope, they didn't return, they landed in Newark as they were already close anyway.
This aged poorly
@@Mnd88 not really.
737 max safeat plane in sky now go alaska go!!
NICE JOB ALASKA !!! CAN Not wait till you bring this to east coast routes.
An amazing plane! I love the MAX, and I have no hesitation to fly on them. Stunning inside and out
Got to fly on this flight last night from LAX to SEA. It's a nice plane for sure.
Alaska is absolutely amazing. Would 1000% recommend. Always the most amazing service, aircraft, crew, etc.
Have flown Alaska many times to Hawaii. Always pleasant, never an incident, always on time. Courteous employees. Would not hesitate to fly the Max. Many hours of training and precautions have been taken. Through all the controversy, probably the safest airplane out there. Thanks for your video. Enjoyed it.
Great Vid! I'm flying on Air Canada's MAX in June from SFO to YUL can't wait to review it!
Looks like a great interior and aircraft. Would 100% fly on one
I'm so glad the alaska airlines 737 max returned keep up the good work
I never tire of the fruit and cheese platter of my home airline. I can't wait to be on an airplane again one of these days. Thanks for the vid. Looks like a great new addition!
The MAX are so beautiful, I saw a MAX 8 for Southwest for the first time today. Such a quiet and gorgeous plane, thank you for making these videos for us.
Amazing Boeing MAX and new Alaska Airlines! Love it!
I flew the 737 Max before the issues and it is a great plane. Probably the safest plane to fly now days.
I miss my annual trips Chicago-Seattle-Juneau on best rated airlines with best pilots, painfully! I am grateful for flight and other travel videos that make these times bearable. Thank you!
Great views on the SAN approach! I’m used to seeing the view of downtown and the bay, forgot how nice Balboa Park looks from the air on a clear day!
Great alska really did a great job with the max 9 it's my best
That was awesome! I’m 75K with AS flown over 52000 miles YTD. I love AS, I saw the MAX at SEA right next to my aircraft! Beautiful plane and I can’t wait to fly on it. Thanks for a great video!
Love how quiet the aircraft sounds.
Great video! Excellent that you commented and commended the crew, comments which I find sadly missing on so many trip reports. Also great of the captain to acknowledge the Alaska staff members travelling onboard. That cheese and fruit platter looks excellent! What a beautiful aircraft, looks very comfortable and spacious in both classes of service. Cheers, Carl
That was a fun flight. Good to see you there. I did all 4 MAX-9 flights, SEA-SAN-SEA-LAX-SEA and each one was a blast. Great cabin crews and notably quieter than the NGs.
May I suggest a ginger ale/orange juice combo next time vs plain oj...it's life affirming! Keep up the good work.
Great video inaugural flights are always incredible and special!!
Love the 737 MAX! She’s back in the sky! So glad to see Alaska taking up this incredible aircraft. 😎🤘🤔🥂
new plane new start much hits Alaska airlines
Wonderful trip report, this is the second one I have watched of yours and you do a great job. Love this review since Alaska is my favorite airline plus Seattle and San Diego are among my favorite cities. I wish I can say I have flown Alaska lately but the last couple of years my job has me in a town that is only served by American (boo-but at least I can get Alaska mileage again!). Can't wait to move back to the west coast and be able to use Alaska again.
15:29 when he zoomed , the window seat guy is @NYCflyer.
I came here after watching his video:)
I won tickets for the MAX 9... a special Employee-only flight (LAX-LAX) on February 25th. I loved how quiet it was! So happy my airline welcomes these new planes as they are a new employee! I can't wait to work on a MAX! 🥰
Great video! Just flew Alaska airlines up to Seattle from Tucson last week and going back on them this weekend. Grew up in Alaska so it’s my favorite airline. One of my good friends works for Boeing and lives in Seattle. He’s rave for this plane. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Wonderful speech by the captain!!! You can tell he is not only very seasoned by the way he spoke but also has a true passion for what he does! People need to understand that these pilots backing the MAX aircraft and who have flown these thousands of miles before any passengers took a seat after they were grounded also have families to go home to and value their lives as much as every passenger on the plane. It was unfortunate what happened with the two max crashes but it was clearly a mistake that was studied hard over those two years and corrected. The MAX is gorgeous and the 737 itself has always been a phenomenal aircraft. I would proudly fly on a MAX 8/9/10 or any other variants in future stress free! Also I LOVE the split winglets they compliment this beautiful bird nicely and Alaska airlines did a wonderful job with the paint job and the interior looks especially gorgeous! And among everything else how about those efficient MAX turbofans?! They freakin purr and are almost silent besides the wind whistling through them!
It was nice to see where my life began back in 2007, MCRD San Diego!
Congratulations Boeing, and AS for bringing us this amazing plane! And thank you for the young gentlemen who makes these great videos, much appreciated! I think AS this statement which I love, "If its not Boeing, I'm not going"
As long as the pilots have confidence and the correct trained for skills that’s all that really matters now after the changes the regulators demanded Boeing do
Who else thought the two pilots talking to the press was just one pilot and his reflection (from behind) in the window?
Just flew on my first Max 9 Alaska Air from Anchorage to Seattle. Such a fast and quiet flight! So glad these planes are in the fleet!
I'll be flying in a MAX from LAX to SEA, first class! So excited!
I hope you’re good at swimming.
@@ar12. you're*
I love the approach into San Diego, starting over Los Angeles and ending with that deep drop after Balboa Park. The 737 Max looks like a great new addition for Alaska. I wonder when it will be put on Hawaii routes? Alaska is hands-down the best U.S. carrier when it comes to a consistent product and service.
I prefer jetblue who has a airbus fleet
Great to see the MAX's back flying. SWA's MAX's return to revenue service later this month.
Didn’t know that, that’s great!
March 11th to be exact.
I give it a year until another one goes down. Boeing is FINISHED
@@bitchpudding2945 Yeah because all your MSFS type ratings qualify you to comment. Silly groundling.
@@bitchpudding2945 taht did not make sense
Just love your videos and reviews. I would fly the MAX any day. Now we need to relax restrictions giving the vaccines and dropping number of cases. Great job.
Brilliant trip report! I'm glad to see the MAXs back in the sky. I can't wait to try them in the future, they look comfortable and modern
Had to work the last few days so I wasn't able to fly but I'll be flying down to SAN and back to SEA in a day or two can't wait!!
Great video. 🍇🧀 Proud AS employee here. Awesome hearing the shout out to employees from Captain Joe Blunt! 💙💚
I think the Pacific NW is gorgeous, I love living in WA. Love the views flying out of Seatac! The Max seems like a good plane, I truly hope Boeing has worked out all the bugs now. Alaska airlines is my fave, I would rather fly with them than any other service. Thanks for the great video!
Very nice plane max-9 both take off and Landing excellent overall best aircraft
Good content buddy I enjoy your videos
One of the nicest 737 I have ever seen. Amazing content and landing!
Awesome Inaugural coverage!
Maxii
Boeing is going to make a new fortune on this classic and thoroughly modern aircraft!
I love Alaska airline
Wow, good job on this awesome trip report, keep 'em coming! I'm very impressed on the Alaska Max 9 aircraft. You're right, too bad it was too early for the Alaska Lounge to be opened, I remember the lounge was awesome inside and they had this interesting automatic waffle/pancake maker.
Nice report. Well done. Thank you for sharing.
Been waiting for this one now I gotta get on a max oh wait I’m flying next week on Alaska air oh wait they don’t fly the max to Vegas
@Skippair hi lol
On the contrary. They had a max-9 on July 15th between Las Vegas and Seattle. I oughta know, I flew on it.
@@gladfan1989 they didn’t have it on that route the first couple weeks in service unfortunately, otherwise I would’ve been on it.
Great trip report as always ! 😎✈️
Same here, I always just cant wait to see new uploads of trip reports from this and James Asquith YT channels
Also, we need to push Alaska to opting for the leg support for CL4710 seats! xDD That way it would be a lot closer to experience onboard Virgin American's planes.
I’ll be flying on the 737 Max 9 from Anchorage to LAX for the first time in September I’m looking forward to it.
Didn't think I would ever chose a Max but that ride and noise level is awesome! I hope Boeing has really fixed all of the Max issues.
Looks amazing! I’ve never flown Alaska, but I’ve always wanted to considering how many good things I’ve heard about them
I’ll be flying this exact plane on may 15th
I love Alaska’s little food kits! I always get them if I’m flying with them.
i have alaska airlines gimini200 nice video even were going to las veagas
I'm a Alaska Air frequent flyer. Top quality airline with some very dedicated pro's on their staff.
Love the seats but why would Alaska spend so much on an upgrade with no IFE screens? 🤦♂️
The LEAP engine is amazing! Great video!
Wait you live in San Diego?!? Wow I do too! I actually got to drive a passenger from the flight who had no idea behind the MAX ordeal and I explained it to them!
Go ahead !¡ from north mexico
FISRT, you can never go wrong with the decadent classic Alaska Air Fruit & Cheese Platter! 😋
Second, I live in Alaska and I was married to an Alaska Air employee, so I know their commitment to the safety and comfort of their passengers and crew is a high priority!
I completely trust the ASA crews & employees for my flying needs and seeing ASA fly the Max 9 is a continuing show of loyalty to them and also shows their dedication to stay all Boeing for them and the loyal passengers! This new aircraft is a huge leap for their growth and commitment to continued excellence in commercial air travel!
I was hoping to fly on one from SeaTac to BWI in May but doesn't look like that will happen because of Gogo but just maybe I can be one of the first few to fly from Alaska to Seattle on one! 🤞
What a beautiful cabin
Sim, um equipamento muitíssimo bom de voar serviço de bordo de qualidade de personalização.
Parabéns 🎈👏
I like the fact that the life vests on the MAX 9 have been re-located to a much more accessible place and I hope that this is a thing of the future with all new aircraft models. It has been a mystery to me for the whole of my flying life that such an important safety aspect has never been completely clear and obvious to passengers. I have not yet been on a flight where an emergency, necessitating use of life jacket has been needed, but I'm sure that their present location of under the seat could generate confusion and additional stress in an emergency for a lot of passengers, bearing in mind that not everyone reads their emergency instruction card, nor pays attention to the cabin crew safety demonstration at the beginning of the flight. I have never liked the more recent use of safety videos on aircraft which have video screens, as I believe some of these videos are presented as to appear 'entertaining,' rather than a serious issue. I feel that all safety demonstrations should be carried out by actual cabin crew on all flights, whether there are video screens on board or not.
737 max go 💥💥
My co worker is a retired airline pilot for FedEx. He never thought the Max would get back in the air. He was rated to fly 747s but I don’t think he did those planes much. He liked the 777s though. I know he still talks to friends still working as pilots. I believe one is from Alaska. His main issue with all the Max planes was once the fix was done was that they now got rust issues within the plane and what not to deal with.

I'd love to see you document a 737 MAX flight with Copa Airlines.
I flew back to back on their A321 neos and the MAX9 transcon in First back in March 2022. Wifi was not working on my Max 9 flight westbound leaving me feeling dreadful, not even the IFE streaming was available. I love the Airbus neo aircrafts much more due to the better cabin pressurization and the much quieter engines. However, the service on Alaska flights has always been courteous and attentive.
Thinking of upgrading on our flight.... after this..we just might ty.
I’m a huge fan of Alaska first class flights, but even just an exit row seat is great. Can’t wait to get back to the normal in flight service.
Oh yeah, they’re the only airline I’ll willingly book economy on a transcon with, I’ve done 6-7 hour flights on the A321neo on full flights, and not once felt uncomfortable
Great review of this amazing plane, very objective and great review of AS with service and comfort.. AS is one of my beloved airlines in the world. Thank you
The safest plane in the air today....would not hesitate a minute to get on one.................
Jesus!
Just watched this again for the second time. I've flown on Alaska a few times this year, but was not lucky enough to get on a MAX yet! (Just 737NGs and the A320.) So I can hardly wait until their MAX fleet gets bigger, and I can finally fly on one! But...got to try the fruit and cheese plate, and I absolutely LUV it!!!
Awesome video! Whenever I've flown that route, we would stay off-shore well past LAX, and not hit land until about 5 miles north of SAN to set up for the approach. I liked seeing the other perspective.
I wanted to fly the inaugural 😞 I’m going to book for the end of the month.
Flew out of C9 SeaTac yesterday morning but not on a MAX, sadly. I wish they had brought back the NW deli pack instead. And your flight looked like they still had the middle seats mostly empty. They started selling middle seats in January which was a surprise to me when I bought my tickets in December. 😬
Just watching this video 3 days before my flight to Jakarta via 737NG
Great video! Can’t wait for that flight to Honolulu!
Do I feel comfortable getting on a max, is the sky blue?
I'm actually desparate to fly on one.
Amazing plane !
Love the lighting
Really hope they bring them here to the bay area soon we got completely skipped during testing don't think they used sfo or sjc for the tests.
The interior looks fantastic.
Love it.. it's so quite it sounds good. It looks good
wow the engines sound amazing
I hope they added more cushioning to the seats and lumbar support, esp going cross country 6hr flights
1 of the MAX 9's now wears a special Seattle Kraken livery.
Thank you
I'd like to think the max is now the safest plane in the world.
So would Boeing, but it isn't. It's a flawed design with 100 bandaids on it.
Nice video, Thanks for sharing the experience
The premium seats also have complimentary drink service.
i hope i get to see one of these beauties pop into SJC every now and then
great interior and great footage. subscribed!
My opinion is it's a mighty fine plane indeed I feel very comfortable flying on that plane I haven't flown on it yet but I can give it a go when I get a chance my question is are they stationed at JFK airport or no
