Stunning evening rush hour at London Kings Cross Tornado922. You got lucky to have cooled down in the cool thunderstorm in the later stages of your session. Fully enjoyed watching it :-)
amazing video jarred i loved every bit of it i love thunderstorms too when i go to florida not this week not next week but the week after when i go i love filming america storms
Great video. You're also right about the bustle at Kings Cross. You didn't mention The Parcel Yard, London's finest station pub with views of the station platforms if you sit in the right room.
In November 2023, LNER announced an order of 10 tri-mode multiple units from CAF to serve the ECML, including an 8-year maintenance agreement. The contract is valued at over €500 million and is financed by rolling stock company, Porterbrook. The trains will be able to run on 25kV 50 Hz electrification, battery and diesel power. In August 2024 it was announced that the trains would be called Class 897 under the TOPS classification system.
Fab vid as always. In the future prob Dec 24. Great Northern will have the 379 units which was with GA until a couple of years ago. It is all 30 units.
Grand Central are currently running 180103 and 180106 as hybrid units because their center cars are in each others' units. There were plenty of hybrid units with them at one point actually before reformations back to their original formation took place on most of them. They should all be a lot easier to identify as a result when you see them now compared to some of your films on the ECML. Whilst they have 221142 and 221143, the rest of the Avanti units that aren't with Cross Country yet will be heading that way.
Not sure if it’s still how they do it, but those peak time Cambridge/Kings Lynn trains used to separate at Royston with the front 8 running fast to Cambridge and on to Kings Lynn with the rear 4 making all stops to Cambridge.
10 brand new 10-coach 897 CAF trains will join LNER within the next 3 years. Extending all 5 and 9 coach LNER Azumas to 11 coaches is the most viable and cheapest option in increasing passenger capacity on the East Coast Main Line. Arch Rival Avanti West Coast has new 5 and 7 coach 805 Everos entering their fleet. The 91 DVTs only go up to Leeds and York in a similar working to the Eurostar sets which GNER operated to York and Leeds. Whilst I support brand new longer trains joining LNER I firmly support lengthening the current 5 and 9 coach Azumas to 11 coaches.
Will the class 897 units replace the 225 sets when they eventually enter service? Are you hoping that LSL will buy one of those Intercity sets if that is the case?
The Intercity 225 trains are definitely my favourite trains. Up there is also the Azumas Adelantes, Voyagers and the Lumo
Thameslink & GTR usually use the LNER platforms for trains which are over 8 coachess long, because plats 9 and 10 can only fit 8
Brilliant video legend my favourite train station London king cross and I miss class 91 and I love sound thunder and lightning 🌩

Excellent railway video as always.

Great video as always mate! Personally, I prefer what LNER have done with the Azuma compared to what Avanti have done with the Pendelino's.
I agree with you buddy from Alan in Lowestoft buddy 👍 😊 and a awesome video buddy 👍 😊

Great video (as always!), though the final train was the big payoff for those of us who love and cherish the 225 sets.
Cracking video as always. If possible could you Alexandra Palace or Finsbury Park as a rush-hour vid?

Yaay long video at kings cross 😮😮😮
DO you miss the class 365s & 321. Coming in.
The Hull Trains Paragon service was more likely a Hull Trains Paragons service because you saw a pair of Paragons.
Hi Jared can you visit Birmingham new Street and Wolverhampton please .

You were caught in a storm as I believe. Was you doing a rendition of Singing in the rain?
Better place would be Peterborough for spotting. I was there on Friday and saw 91s, 66s,69's,, 800 + 801 and even the new EMR 810 aurora close up😊
re your question @26:00 I dont see the need for it full stop
Have you seen the new south West train livery yet
Hello
