Great report! I really like the new cabin, it looks so smart and refreshing! Although I expect more for the “business-class” seats, and also I’m not a big fan of box meal for business-class passenger 🙄
I like it very much. Tailslandian Airways has about 45 of the A321neos in their fleet, while Tesla Air has 56, and Air Eleanoria has 67 (25 of them operate to South America, 5 operate to Puerto Rico, 10 operate to Mexico, 2 operate to Greenland (although there aren't any direct flights from the US to Greenland), and the rest operate to the US, Canada, Hawaii, and Alaska (Anchorage, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Las Vegas, Boston, and Chicago-O'Hare are perfect examples).

Cmon the business class has economy seats, and the economy class has seats without an adjustable headrest like a low cost carrier. Plus no IFE screens. EU airlines have to do better. The lighting looks beautiful though
@@sebastiannielson1952 It's also incomprehensible from an European perspective that US carriers do not offer lounge access on a domestic first class flight and also no catering on these distances.
But you also have to remember that European legs aren’t as far and as long as it would be in the US. US is much bigger and greater distances are flown by narrow body aircraft which makes it essential to have more comfort in narrow bodies for 5 hours long. In Europe a long flight is considered 3 hours. Many of them are under 3/2 hours and most of them are between 2 or even under an hour. So with that length, no screens but wifi onboard and no recline will do just fine. KLM is also one of the very few airlines in Europe to serve free drinks and a snack on any short-haul flight. I do think the Business Class looks below average from what I expect from KLM, but Economy would work fine for me.
@@meliskramer4520really? I have flown Alaska and they are fantastic. The pilot has always come through the cabin and spoken to passengers, never had that on a Lufthansa or BA

If that's business I'd hate to see the economy!! It would make me a tad nervous if 20 ground crew were standing in a line watching the plane take off. Lol But really ..That's not a business class seat. What do you think about it?
This is the norm for the vast majority of business class flights within Europe. It doesn’t bother me, the seat in the middle of the row is not occupied and in general, business class is not 100% full for European flights so it is not uncommon to have a row all to yourself
I think all the seats should have adjustable headrests. Not just the front ones. Also a brand new aircraft not having IFE is a bit of a let down. Although if they have streaming to device content it's something I could live with. So did they have this option or did they only have wifi packages?
These seats look incredibly uncomfortable, i dont know how they comapre to the A320neo which ive sat in before but they are not comfortable to say the least

Economy class looks the exact same as Transavia’s, their low cost brand’s… With even the same 29-28 pitch at the back. I mean cmon, that’s the same/even less than what Ryanair offers. In business the seats look to be standard, modern euro-business seats, better than LH group, but for example BA’s new cabins look nicer to me in both classes. Service wise they probably have the best economy service in Europe alongside AF, but catering in business is a bit so so, especially the presentation isn’t great. I do love how these jets look both on the outside and inside, but would hope that a legacy carrier wouldn’t pack their jets to a low cost standard.
> Economy class looks the exact same as Transavia’s, their low cost brand’s… With even the same 29-28 pitch at the back. I mean cmon, that’s the same/even less than what Ryanair offers. That's because Transavia's new deliveries are using the same seat - the BL3710. I mean, it can get slightly worse - KL's retrofitted 737s use SL3710 seats down the back - the same ones Volaris, W6, and Frontier's 32Q use. But it's still disgraceful to have LCC seats on a full service carrier, especially when these 32Qs are being put on longer flights that aren't necessarily limited to 1.5 hours.
@@jeromef.5489 This is the norm for the vast majority of business class flights within Europe.
