Scott Evans , I understand what are you saying....but Star Alliance is very successful for aviation business. You can travel around the world with partner like United, Lufthansa, and other great airline businesses.
Never expected a 700 to be retrofitted with mood lighting, and the cabin looks so clean too. If Southwest did the same thing with their 700 fleet, that would be great. Btw great video
Your videos are so relaxing...I always play them before i go to bed. The sound of engines knock me out. So what.exactly do you do for a living that you fly so much??
I flew. Alaska A320 LAX to PDX to visit a cousin in Washington State. Flew Alaska Airlines back to LAX again on a A320. My first time flying Alaska and I loved it. Service was great. Being Vegetarian I had Fruit 🍉 and 🧀 plate. Both flights were 👍. Plane was super clean as well as windows. Wow what views I photographed from the plane ✈️. Alaska is now my go to Airlines!! Looking forward to my next flight on this 5 Star Airlines!!!!
Cool video, and yes, that takeoff was quite fast! About 20 seconds and about 3000 feet rollout. Must have been a combination of a light load with increased takeoff power, but its not like you needed it. KOAK's runway 12/30 is over 10,000ft long!
Yes the "buzz" is great and for me it is so hard to keep up with which airline is aligned with which alliance ?? Bloody nightmare from my end !! Glad your nuts were warm (sorry ) Nice flight by the look of things and well done as always...looking forward to your next adventure !!
Another great video! Love the new cabin but I do miss the wonderful Virgin America first class seats. So comfortable on a cross country flight. I’m on the A321neo in September in seat 2A.
Future trip report suggestion.... Would love to see you cover the Omni Air 767-200 flying between YVR- HNL for Air Canada. This is a "stop gap" temporary measure for Air Canada substituting for their 737MAXs which are grounded. I believe Air Canada even puts a few of their cabin crew on these Omni flights and flies these Omni birds under Air Canada Flight Numbers.
It's funny (?) NOW that I'm retired from "up-front" (Flight Deck) I tend to remember mostly my experiences in the Cabin as: (A): Dead-Heading per company mandate; (B): Commuting *to* and *from* "base" for work, or; (C): Non-Revving for "pleasure travel". ("Non-Rev" as you know means "Non-Revenue"...Employee "perk", but better seat choice options depending on your seniority)... Since retired?? I find that the hassle and uncertaintainty of Non-Revving just ain't worth it!! I will buy full-fare, and build mileage in various airlines' Programs instead!!! SO? I appreciate these YT reviews!!
They actually serve food on Alaska airlines with ACTUAL metal utensils??? *mind blown* Also, I have heard that take off buzz on certain Jetblue flights during takeoff.
A very comfortable flight. The term "first class" is, of course relative, not to be confused with international first class. It's hard to offer much luxury in less than two hours, and I guess I'd call this business class.
Given the spread of the Coronavirus are you concerned with so much flying right now or is it necessary for your work? Having you done anything different as far as your routine?
Ive always wanted to fly Alaska but I never got the chance to ive only flown American Airlines, Delta, United, Southwest, Avianca, Us Airways, and American Eagle
Nope, there's only one lounge in Oakland and I didn't have the opportunity to try it since I left my priority pass card at home. OAK itself isn't necessarily a nice airport but the area I was sitting at was quite relaxing especially with the view towards the bay and runway.
I love Alaska’s 700s better then the 800s and 900s I’m flying on one this Thursday in premium for a 20 min flight only aviation geeks like me pay extra for a window lol. P.s. it’s my birthday I want a free flight for whatever reason N644AS being there youngest 700 is in top shape
I *HAVE* to add, as a pilot?? @ 2:25, the WN (SWA) B-737 Taxi speed?? DID you speed up the video there?? Because, if he/she was actually taxiing that fast on a wet ramp? Well...EVEN when I was trying to catch a commuting flight back to my home city at the end of a trip? Errrrmmmm.....No. Not worth it...that's why I joined the "President's Club" Lounge...(Ooops...gave away my former employer...)...
Probably is. Someone in a neighborhood between Boeing field and SeaTac (beacon hill) apparently thought there was a war because of the noise. We’re also on the flight path, and the loudest noises we hear are these, in order from softest to loudest. 3: the high-pitched howling produced by an a320. 2: the loud whale-like whine produced by the a220s with the GTF engines when changing engine power. 1: the old FedEx MD-11s.
as a flight attendant you should serve something so much better in First Class. On T.W.A. WE F/A would feel insulted if Catering got us something like this to serve to our guests
@@clausstimpfig3803 I'm sure you know I have no say in what Alaska provides as First Class meals 🤣 Also, this is an hour and a half flight. Alaska does serve a five course meal on long haul flights, but it would be impossible on a short one like this. I personally love this chicken sandwich and I suggest you write a complaint to Alaska Airlines if you feel the need to do so lol.
@@andyburton1111 Not true. On T.W.A. we served from Berlin tp Frankfurt a hot dinner served on linen and Cordon Rouge champagne in Royal Ambassador class. AND THIS IS A 55 MINUTES FLIGHT. GATE TO GATE. A Sandwich in so called First Class is revolting.
Oh so THAT'S what its called. Haha thanks, well that and the Pesto sandwich are both amazing. Unfortunately I haven't been able to give the transcontinental meal service a try. But even in economy the service on those flights is pretty good.
Heard that Alaska is thinking of slowly phasing out the Airbuses they picked up from Virgin America and heading back to an all Boeing fleet.... Any truth to it?
They make EVERYONE unplug their devices? On American and Delta they only make you unplug if you're in the exit row. Alaska continues to be a subpar airline that will eventually be bought out.

Ya, the same thing happened to me first class to Puerto Vallarta. The meal was cold, hard and very un-appetizing. No more AlaskaAir for me. I first started flying with Alaska Air when lived in Anchorage. The winters were incredibly harsh, and landing in the snow makes me nervous. The only more scary airport was in Juneau. Landing on the side of a hill makes me nervous to.
What are your Thoughts on Alaska joining OneWorld?
I hope, that would be karma because they did that to Virgin America
I don’t really like it, they should've joined Skyteam to me
Join Star Alliance....why not! GREAT BUSINESS!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
@Lawrence Forman American Airlines is a strong partner with them, so they joined OneWorld.

I absolutely love your reviews on Alaska! Makes me a proud flight attendant! Hopefully I have you on my flight soon!
If Alaska Airlines doesn't fly there then I won't go😜

Apparently these seats are real leather, too! (Even in economy!) Made by the high quality vehicle seating company called Recaro.

Wow
Such a gorgeous view of Seattle!
I have flown on Alaska's 737-700 so many times and soon I'm going to go on Alaska's 737-800 bbj2 from FAI to ANC
Wow! What a great trip and review! Thank you for letting us ride along with you! All the best from the west coast of Florida USA!!!
Beautiful trip report,The takeoff was a dream.
Awesome video! Can't wait for the final VX cabin one (unless i'm oblivious to the fact it came out already) XD

That was a nice flight! Great vid!
If you like their 700's then you'll most likely enjoy their newer 737-900's. The Airbus fleet was outfitted to the 900's interior.
Nice trip report! Can’t wait to do one for myself!
I am so happy Alaska is joining one world alliance. I only fly Alaska and
American. Great trip report Emiliano! You always do such a great job.❤️👍✈️
Great video. I've never seen the 700s before. Love the report. Subbed. Liked

I love the new interior! I enjoyed it!

Kabuki Jo Well it’s first class and metal utensils are normal even on domestic flights for first class..

premium eco i would say
Didn't you fly with them yesterday? How quick are your edits haha :D
Fly Around surprisingly this one took about 5 hours of editing. Spent almost the entire flight home and Uber ride editing 😂
@@ITripReport That's dedication par excellence 😅 Do you always start editing while flying and traveling?
@@FlyAround Not always, I only ever do it when im behind schedule on videos. Otherwise I'll try to leave editing to throughout the week.
Great Video... Yes... I love the 737'-700's
13:31 i think your Retina screen needs a "small" cleanup 😁😁
Amazing report
I hope they retrofit their -900 non-ERs and most of their -800s next (AKA Alaska's 737s that don't have sky interior)
Best 737-700

What camera do you use?
Idea.... Small carrier named Denver Air Connection is flying DO328JETs out of DEN to Telluride..... Now there is a rare bird indeed.
I recently flew on a 328JET with Taos Air. Very cool plane and experience.
you literally came to Oakland the one day it wasn't sunny and was raining
Is that color-changing lighting or is it blue-only lighting?
I think only blue
Uhh that’s not at all how I expected you to look... you look way better than I imagined lol

I think American is going to by out Alaska, which I am all for because I love American!
Is there a noise reduction in Seattle because the pilot lowered the thrust greatly.
Probably is. Someone in a neighborhood between Boeing field and SeaTac (beacon hill) apparently thought there was a war because of the noise. Is first class expensive?
Nice
Please fly to St. Lucia on West Jet

Not a great time to fly to Washington right now...

@Eben Cole is it though?
I’m from the Bay Area and I avoid Oakland airport, SFO is much better..
Heard that Alaska is thinking of slowly phasing out the Airbuses they picked up from Virgin America and heading back to an all Boeing fleet.... Any truth to it?
They said they would what if the 737 max flies this year. If they don't, the will change to and all Airbus a320 and a320neo fleet

How will they be all Boeing if they have the Q400 and E175?
@@ryy4n_ Alaska doesn't own them.... The Q400s are owned by Horizon and the E175s are split between Horizon and Skywest
