How are the delta one seats on the 757 I am flying from lax-dca on a delta one 757 in 2 weeks
I’m flying Delta One in January to HNL just to earn some miles. Not looking forward to my year of continued diminished service but can’t argue with the prices and Delta extending my SkyClub membership nearly an extra year.
This is a TRUE business class in a single-aisle aircraft

maybe around 50%? maybe more, its hard to say, every flight at some point has at least a tiny bit of turbulence!

If you had to choose between 1A or 4A, which would you choose?
What is that receipt at the gate after scanning the boarding pass? Never seen them before in Canada or in Europe
On Delta they do that if your seat assignment is different than what it is on your normal boarding pass so you get one if you changed your seat last minute, you're on standby or a basic economy ticket and get a seat assignment, or if you get upgraded at the gate. That receipt will just show you your new seat.

How much these domestic flights cost?
2002 was the last time that I flew on a Delta 757, but the 767 was my favorite.

ᴛʜᴇ ʀᴇᴀʟ ᴅɪʀᴛʏ ᴅᴀɴ it was pilot error for all them in October 2018 I was on Uniteds 757 from Edinburgh to Chicago then Newark to Edinburgh and on a delta 757 from Orlando to Altlanta and they were perfectly fine

The 757s are all very reliable workhorses without a true competitor, that‘s why airlines don‘t want to retire them.

Warning: just don’t fly Delta One, or any other US based airline in first class, during this COVID-19 pandemic. I had to fly transcontinental 4 times, January to April. There is no meal service. You’ll get a bottle of water and a bag of chips, if you’re lucky.

Delta. Best onboard experience IMO
The only complaint seemed to be greasy hash browns, so I'd say this was an excellent flight. US domestic flights aren't always great; even in first class some airlines are unimpressive. But Delta gave you a good first-class experience.
breakfast choices could have been better but apart from that it was a decent flight!

i love love love the 757. it is my favorite plane. too bad Boeing never made a 2nd gen (757-400) 757. too bad the airlines never realized how flexible the 757 was before production ended and the tooling was destroyed.
When was this flight? I've never done Delta One transcontinental, price is easily twice that of Delta First Atlanta to San Fran. Delta's first is pleasant enough, but one would think that One would be available out of their home city of Atlanta, at least once daily. Well, whatever. I'm looking forward to getting on a plane to anywhere, but when become a very nagging question. The plague forced me to cancel a flight to San Fran in mid March, and now I have no idea of when I'll be able to get back out there to see my family.

this was in december last year. I used a certificate to get upgraded to delta one, cant really tell you how much it is.
Didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. What did you pay for that flight?
I paid around $200 for a RT ticket in economy and used a voucher to get the upgrade!

You say that this is the most comfortable way to fly across the United States, but how does it compare to hard products such as Polaris on United's 787-10 or Mint Suites on JetBlue's A321? Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Delta, and I never hesitate to praise their product, but I think those two options have Delta beaten. Definitely worth trying both of those out on transcon routes too, if you haven't. :)

Nice video and good information, very enjoyable videos. Just as a friendly note: you shouldn’t always use the cross-dissolve transition between your video segments. Transitions must serve the story telling of your videos. Use them between segments that make sense, between night and day or between two segments that are far apart in time. Other than that excellent work!

Why are 23 year old planes still flying in the sky? Imagine driving a 23 year old car. Makes no sense to me
Mr. MICHAEL same reason I drive a 19 year old car: it runs fine with standard maintenance, and I haven’t had a car payment in 15 years.
Because all their issues have been addressed and they are safe, reliable and comfortable when upgraded to the interiors like this 757.
@@eds.4815 you driving a 2001 car has to put you as one of the older cars on the road, at all times. My 2019 car or even my 2015 car is not only more reliable than your 2001, simply because it is newer, but it is also SAFER, because it is newer.
I get that this plane runs fine, but I also think the airlines making billions of dollars every year can afford to buy some new planes every 5-10 years.
@@BrokebackBob Sorry but I wouldn't want to drive around a mint 2000 Honda Accord with new leather seats and TV's in the headrest. This is 2020 not 1997 I feel like the design of planes on the exterior should have upgraded by now, including the safety features. Were not talking add-ons.
