The mighty 767 is such a great aircraft! The 764 model has always been so cool to me. Glad to see delta showing the bird some love with the new cabin. Hope to see the 767 more present on flights for both United and Delta as the industry starts to recover. Really enjoyed the video man. Take it easy, stay safe, and God bless
The new interior is gorgeous. I hope I'll be able to fly it. Your captions had me laughing, especially the one about manifesting a diversion to Madrid. Sign me up! Ha ha. Now following.
I have a travel company and come across a lot of Delta 764 when hopping over to Europe. Many times I try to avoid it for my clients, but now i know that if its has the new Delta One, all is good. Thanks
Special thanks to the first class flight attendants, who were some of the best I've had on Delta! Also, if you'd like to check out my friend's video on this flight, I'll link that here too! ruclips.net/video/k3-DlHY2N88/видео.html
Becoming a flight attendant for delta airlines is harder than getting into Harvard. In 2018 over 100,000 people applied. I forgot how many got in but the fact was it was less percent than Harvard. That’s why delta has the best FA’s
@@xplanespotter4117 so true but at friend that works told me they are scared to speak up cause of the companies intimidation and fear of being fired at the drop of a hat. with no union.

Smart people brought either a book or their own CD-player with anti-skip technology :)
Came to check out the 764 since I’m flying from JKF - LHR, a long overdue vacation I’ll tell you that much but I am flying delta one and now I see why it is a big deal haha. Good review thanks broski
I flew N844MH (Skyteam 764) a few years ago and fell in love with the 767. Although I've flown on the 747, A350, and 787 since, the 764 remains the best-looking airplane.
Oh no a divert! I feel your pain but ❤ your sense of humor about it. Love this refurbed cabin over the previous version - big improvement. Happy that Delta has made progress on their soft product, especially using DoCo. What’s your favorite US carrier for domestic travel?
there is an epilepsy warning on both ends of the tunnel and a button to stop the lights i was just in DTW like a week ago and noticed them for the first time next time you're there it's a red button at the bottom of the tunnel it stops the music too which is lame lol i got to see what happens when someone presses the button.
I just flew Delta, earlier this month from Cincinnati to Tampa and loved it. On the way down since there were only 11 people on the flight, I sat in Comfort Plus (free upgrade 😊) n they were super nice! On the way home I sat in Standard Economy n wow also super nice, even though the plan was 70% full, middle seat was still blocked. I really like Delta and I will fly them again in the future
Answering the question "Did you fly a Delta 767-400 before?" Yes, before the first 767-400 (line 791) was delivered. I flew on a C1 (customer acceptance) flight with the original interior. At the time it had the 2-2-2 F/C seating in the fwd cabin and the same overhead bins and ceilings with no LED lighting. It performed like a rocket on takeoff with only a few pax, no cargo and light fuel. My Uncle was lucky enough to fly the very first revenue flight on this airplane from SEA-ATL and he loved it.
I'm flying to Frankfurt from JFK in October and my seats are Delta One's. Not sure if it's the new configuration. It is a 767-400. I really like the 777 and was disappointed that Delta retired them. Never flown on a 787 or 747 either.
I'll be on a flight from Seattle to Atlanta next month on one of these planes (in the same cabin), so I'm looking forward to experiencing Delta One for myself!
It is nice to see comfort over quantity for a change instead of being crammed like sardines in a can on a airplane flight! I last flew in 2003 and couldn't move after being shoehorned into a M80 that more closely resembled a clogged pipe! I wish you could have shown us more of an economy class experience! I worked for Delta for 13 years and flew free on standby mostly in first class since that is where empty seats were usually available and the difference between first class and economy is like the difference between night and day! By the way the word to use is discouraging not in encouraging which is not a word!
I'm flying Delta first class from CVG-LAS with a stop in ATL. The ATL to LAS flight is one of these planes. So do I get sky club access at ATL since I will have a domestic Delta one ticket?
4:15 what's with those funky headrests? Delta's A220s and A330NEOs don't have those funky headrests even though they use the same seat model as the 767-400 refurb and their cabins are about as new as the 767-400 refurb
As a million miler on Delta, I have flown this 764 many times when DFW was a hub, this plane replaced the old L1011, which I miss. Since DFW is no longer a Hub, I sometimes fly the 764 going to HNL or Europe...but usually end up on a 777...
I flew on Delta N831mh a 767-400 2 months ago from Las Vegas to Atlanta. It was a pleasant flight but the new software for the entertainment system was buggy overhead lights randomly turned on and off without you hitting the button and certain features froze up and had to be reset
I dunno, hard to complain about more takeoff and landings!! And this added two new routes onto your route map and maybe even a new city? Love the refigured cabin I know this bird in 2001 ATL MIA and 2016 ATL AMS BCRF
Great Video, Delta has got to be the master at renovating cabin interiors to create a great passenger on-board experience. I bet the economics of a makeover of a clapped out 764 is far more profitable than making payments on a new A350 or 787. Last year I few the 764 of Delta's from HNL to MSP in "Delta ONE". Unfortunately, it was not the new interior and I had the last row in the Biz cabin on the "A" side, just before the L2 boarding door. This seat featured no window and the crew rest seat just in front of mine. I asked the flight attendant if I could sit in the crew rest seat on takeoff as the view departing HNL is something worth seeing as the sun sets. I was given the opportunity to sit in the crew rest seat but forewarned that I would have to move back to my windowless seat right after take off. Sure enough within 10 minutes after take off, the first pilot on break came to claim his crew rest seat, immediately closed the blinds and wrapped the curtain around the perimeter of his seat. This left me with a windowless seat and a curtain in front. I think I paid 2K for the one way ticket. I'd love to know why Delta would use a Biz class seat with a window for the crew rest instead of a Biz seat without a window. I notice in your video it looks like the Crew rest curtain is now surrounding a seat near the front of the cabin closer to the galley on the right side of the renovated 764. Maybe the Delta Pilot's union contract requires a Biz class seat with a window for Crew rest?
Nice video. Makes me miss my hometown airport DTW. I noticed at 12:25 you improvised your COVID mask for sleeping. Did Delta stop providing sleep masks in first class in addition to not providing soda?
There is a warning sign at the top of the escalators before going down. There is also a button to suspend the tunnel lights at the bottom of the escalators to the right side on the wall. Not sure if the sign was moved or you missed it.
Well Emil, I’d say you got your money’s worth out of that Delta One seat. I don’t know what you’ve got against Nashville but diverting there was certainly better than running out of fuel. And yeah, What’s up with Delta’s cost cutting in first class? I just flew American first class earlier this month and they at least gave you a choice of some prepackaged food which was very acceptable. Great trip report!❤️👍✈️
Great report 👍. Delta blows away other airlines. I sure rather fly a wide body plane than a 321 mint. The 767 is a tried and true plane that has a room to move around unlike a narrow body plane.
