The reason why that take-off roll at DIA was so long is because of the mile high elevation and altitude (about 5280 feet MSL) of that airport and the city of Denver, therefore the air is thinner than at most other airports. The thinner air means that more airspeed is needed for the wings to generate enough lift for the plane to take off and fly. So the take-off and landing runs are longer than at most other airports. This is also why the runways at DIA are longer than at most other major airports.

The nice thing about this channel is all the natural sounds in the airports and on board the planes, like announcements, cabin noise, engines etc. Other channels add unnecessary music which is distracting and not welcome by true avgeeks. Well done iTripReport! Don't change a thing!

So great to see the MAX 9 flying again on a domestic carrier. The long takeoff roll is due to DEN's high altitude and the use of de-rated thrust since the runways at DEN are very long.

IMO, United's decision to putting back the bulkhead wall dividing First Class from Economy is quite underrated. As a customer who has flown United First on the Boeing 737-900s, that bulkhead wall provided some privacy and gave the impression that we had our own cabin. It's a small, but important aesthetic change and kudos to United for reversing on that decision on the MAX planes.

I can kind of see why they have traditional power outlets vs. USB outlets, since USB has and likely will keep changing over the coming years (USB2 is making USB1 obsolete). Having a traditional power supply will prevent obsolescence. I don't mind a power outlet instead of a usb outlet but it's more bulky.

Copa did it quietly on December 29, when all the attention was on the re-inaugural flight of the 737 MAX with American. As Copa also did it earlier than they originally announced, there wasn't much (if any) chance to book that flight specifically to be on their first MAX flight.
It would have had to be one of the passengers who had already booked that route to film it, but given that one and a half months have passed since then, it doesn't appear likely that anyone did.

How would you compare it to American's 737 MAX? Does the plane have all coach seats 31 inch legroom?

I have a question and if you could share how to know a certain type of aircraft is scheduled for a special flight like a speical livery if all the equipment just says 737-900 for a exmple how do you know the livery before you actually travel. I dont ever see the reg number to look it up?

why did they previously remove the bulkhead walls between first and economy? I'm also wondering why American is doing away with them too😕

I'll be happy to fly on the 737 Max in 2-3 years, if another one doesn't crash.
