Me too man.. I don't think he reads many comments or so many of the comments are full of shit he doesn't try what's written but I've been hollering intake and/or vacuum leaks since I heard it run
well what kind of youtuber would be if he didnt show how to do everything....go step by step im sure he knew ways before you guys did so give him a break
hey Dalton! been a fan and watcher of every one of your videos for over a year almost 2. thanks too you iv become in love with dirtbikes. finally saved everything for my first! got a Yamaha ttr230. im in love with bikes now. its been keeping my mind off things an makes me as happy is iv ever been. thanks you an all the machine freeks! yall saved me from going down the wrong path! love everything you make an makes me wanna ride!!!!!!!!! BRAPPPPP
Great job getting it running bud! I can't wait to see what you do with it in the future! Keep up the good work and thank you for keeping me entertained!
These videos you have been uploading with this car and the dirtbike riding videos made me watch your videos again, this is really good content and i love it
Those mini jumpers battery things are fantastic. I took mine on a long motorcycle trip this summer, and the only thing I actually used it for was charging a phone..but...if there had been a problem, it's much easier to use that than to try and find someone that has jumper cables.
the previous intake is for the 325i model which is bigger than the 328i intake..so what happens is your car is running really rich with the 325i intake...so if you use that you need a new after market ecu that is able to remap or program a new tune for the engine so it will run smoother and not run rich...
I did not have a better day than you. I had a surgery and got 6 screws in my arm, and when they gave me the pain killer shots, the missed my vain TWICE. So yeah
I told you so along with everyone else it was a vacuum leak, and what some people where saying, like "change the battery" and "it's a bad fuel filter", no, it was a vacuum leak
Hey Dalton, I have been watching all your videos and can't get enough you do an amazing job entertaining all of us subscribers but I have a question, I recently have a got a go pro for my RUclips channel and am having trouble editing it, I was curious on what you use for your?
Remember this man, what is in the trunk or interior of your new junker will give you big clues why it does not run. Your bmw is typical of cheap cars bought from younger guys, they did something to it, that fucked it right up and then lost interest and sell it for cheap. 90% of the time if you just put it back to stock it works fine.
Cool it lives. bmw makes a great inline six .New Jersey same same for inspection .but they just made 1995 and earlier does not have to go thru inspection .
spray starter fluid around the intake areas and see if the rpm changes if it does you still have a vacuum leak. did you use new gaskets on the manifold?
Hi , i recently been watching the video's of you working on your BMW, and i promised my self i will subscribe to you if i see you drifting it. Ur doing great man!
Soo I though i'd share what I know from experience with 323's, and hopefully help you out. They share the same straight 6 with the 328, but have a few changes to be more **economical**. I think you even referred to it as a 328 when you originally got it. But the major differences are the intake manifold, injectors, ecu, and diff to at least get it to run like a 328. A common upgrade for a 323 is the 328 intake manifold, which could maybe be what came on your car. However, to effectively swap that and avoid low idle stalling, bigger injectors and a 328 ecu need to also be there. As far as I know, the ecu from a 328 will plug straight up, it'll just know how to handle the freer flowing intake. Maybe that combined with injectors caused your problem, maybe not, but never hurts to know more. Also the diff in the 323 is a much taller gear (like 2.90 or something) for highway cruising, a 328 diff would get you more torque at the wheels than the 323 stock one, but really as long as you can spin them to drift it might not matter. E36's are fairly mechanical by today's standards, and luckily parts are relatively common. Looking forward to where you go with this car!
also with the scanner you need to erase the fault codes and then you have to drive the car at different speeds down the road to let the computer reset and see if any codes come back
You are wrong about the aftermarket intake manifold. The one you installed is a OBD1 manifold and the other is a OBD2 manifold. They both will work. The one you got on the car is a better free flowing manifold. I should know got a 99 Turbo M3 making 800 WHP.
Dalton, Ill be sending you something in the mail. Its really cool. I live in Hudson Falls NY so shouldnt take to long to get to you once i send it out. I wont be sending it till next week on Friday.
that's second manifold isn't after-market It's actually an oem upgrade however you need a proper tune and a conversion kit for its actually work that's probably why you were having issues
also do know the specs of M50B25 and M52B28 engine model parts as it may be different but compatible to each other so you can try and find the right tune for the engine on what you want to go for....if power..then you have to put more money to it or find a way to achieve it in a way no one has ever done...and cheers to your project drift car bud..
the manifolds are different the one you just took off is a m50 manifold it alloys more air in so you just need to force the car to run drive it around for a while and it should adjust to the extra air flow and you just gained power
nothing wrong with it, it is bigger, it is from BMW325i, according to you boot lid you have 323i which is 2.5 liter engine limited to 170 BHP by intake size and ECU. the intake also look different
You may need to drive the vehicle for a bit after disconnecting the battery and before inspection. Gives the computer time to run diagnostics. You may be able to avoid certain tests depending on how it's run, worked for me in the past. Older cars can pass without some of these test performed.
Really hope he hits a million subs by next summer, he deserves it.
We will. Team work makes the dream work!
ur right 3dmachines
When you reset the computer you may have to let it run and or drive it for the computer run tests the codes may or may not come back
Not with all his clickbait.
He sure does!
that thing is gonna sound so sick with a turbo in it
I think working on a car is better than going to school
How many times have I commented about the air intake being the problem??? I had a e36 for my first car. Read your f****** comments
You sir have a chode
Have a snickers :)
your not you when your hungry snickers satifies
Me too man.. I don't think he reads many comments or so many of the comments are full of shit he doesn't try what's written but I've been hollering intake and/or vacuum leaks since I heard it run
well what kind of youtuber would be if he didnt show how to do everything....go step by step im sure he knew ways before you guys did so give him a break
I've read so many comments saying it's a vacuum leak

Me too 👌🏻
this is my faverout channel sorry if my english is bad im from holland
These videos you have been uploading with this car and the dirtbike riding videos made me watch your videos again, this is really good content and i love it
Am I the only one who thinks the whistle kinda sounds like a supercharger
nope
I think it's the altinator
its the injector lol..
I know
actually now that i listen to it again, sounds like a vacuum leak
Those mini jumpers battery things are fantastic. I took mine on a long motorcycle trip this summer, and the only thing I actually used it for was charging a phone..but...if there had been a problem, it's much easier to use that than to try and find someone that has jumper cables.
Love your videos mate. You're the first person I go to watch on youtube :)
the previous intake is for the 325i model which is bigger than the 328i intake..so what happens is your car is running really rich with the 325i intake...so if you use that you need a new after market ecu that is able to remap or program a new tune for the engine so it will run smoother and not run rich...
He deserves 2mill subs
I did not have a better day than you. I had a surgery and got 6 screws in my arm, and when they gave me the pain killer shots, the missed my vain TWICE. So yeah
At least you got some free morphine
*vein
shit
A video of just fixing and doing things! My favorite thanks 3D
I've been waiting since you've got the drift car to get it running!!!! Good job 3dmachines
The "do not eat" packs, should be tossed in toolboxes. They'll help keep the moisture out. Love the videos man, keep it up!
so glad you got the BMW running can't wait for you to drive in
I told you so along with everyone else it was a vacuum leak, and what some people where saying, like "change the battery" and "it's a bad fuel filter", no, it was a vacuum leak
My brother's 87 diplomat had the same issue with the vacuumed leek
i love watching the progress! my o7 335i M twin turbo is amazingly fast. bmw is by far the best drivers cars
Is it just me or 3DMachines looks like AdamLZ
Oh yeah like this if you think so to
I love your style of videos. How it's not fluent. You brake it up an make it almost like 2 videos in 1.
you got the knee pads now all you need is the mouth wash then it'll be a party lol jk.
Hey Dalton I live in Elma NY, there is no drift events but there is an Autocross event every Sunday at the New Era field parking lot.
I like the reflection of the clouds off the bmw window at 26s
save the silica gel pack...... you can put it in your tool box to help remove moisture and keep your tools from rusting
Getting something working that wasnt working is probably the best feeling in the world
If your going to drift it check your diff and gearbox fluids
Yes need check fluids to gearbox dosent low up
need to change the dif oil any way. it is a drift car. it needs a welded dif
it doesn't NEED a welded diff. an LSD does just fine an open diff is doable but not what is recommended
R
change the ratio as well
man you make my day so much better thank you for putting out such good content keep it up 😎
Just subscribed. Your videos are really good quality man!
this is more of a rochester thing, but Dalton have you ever had a garbage plate
Hope you hit 1 million by Christmas 🎄
you just earned a subscriber I watch alot of your videos and love the nuttiness lol
Hey Dalton, I have been watching all your videos and can't get enough you do an amazing job entertaining all of us subscribers but I have a question, I recently have a got a go pro for my RUclips channel and am having trouble editing it, I was curious on what you use for your?
I'm wanting to see 3d machines gets his own place video
is that the 12 inch combo beam? cuz I just bought that for my dad's Yamaha Wolverine r spec. and I pit the 7 inch flood on my atv
Not an aftermarket intake manifold. It's a oem BMW M50. Gives you more air flow. Something probably wasn't connected right. It's not an exact swap.
Remember this man, what is in the trunk or interior of your new junker will give you big clues why it does not run.
Your bmw is typical of cheap cars bought from younger guys, they did something to it, that fucked it right up and then lost interest and sell it for cheap. 90% of the time if you just put it back to stock it works fine.
agreed.
Boy racer changing air intakes fillers. Don't buy a car not stock unless it's had real money on it.
Told ya the Kid knew his stuff.
clean air filter
Thank you for giving me something to watch in study hall I had nothing to do
Heck yeah man. I've been waiting for the BMW to run! make some vids on your KX
inwood 710 shirt ive been here since your first visit to pugs you blew right up bud
That is really freakin awesome that it's running.
Thats sucks. In NH we dont need to have our car insured to drive it
That other intake was from original 2.5l engine, and installing that to your 323 it gives more power.
Hi , i recently been watching the video's of you working on your BMW, and i promised my self i will subscribe to you if i see you drifting it. Ur doing great man!
sub now so u remember
;)

Put the silica packs in your toolbox, in case they do get some moisture in there stops rust on tools.

more more more and more videos with that guy :D greeting from Poland :D

the intake is a common upgrade all u had 2 do was drive the car so the ecu can learn nd adjust 4 the extra air
I am in school watching you 3dmachines life is great do it all day
Dalton, Ill be sending you something in the mail. Its really cool. I live in Hudson Falls NY so shouldnt take to long to get to you once i send it out. I wont be sending it till next week on Friday.
Yes it runs
Sounds good now
its coming along
Love watching your videos!
Thanks Dalton.Grow that damn mustouche and get JTTS and Prince on here. !!
"sounds pretty good." *REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
so what was wrong with it? was it the aftermarket manifold? it sounded like it had a major vacuum leak with the aftermarket manifold.
the intake you took off was a m50 intake it has larger runners
I love these beamer episodes
after you clear the codes you have to drive the car so it checks for those codes to reset
waited for that whole my time
that's second manifold isn't after-market It's actually an oem upgrade however you need a proper tune and a conversion kit for its actually work that's probably why you were having issues
What happened to the light bar on the duramax!! When you putting it back on?
Good video hope to start working on inside soon
You got this, way to go!
also do know the specs of M50B25 and M52B28 engine model parts as it may be different but compatible to each other so you can try and find the right tune for the engine on what you want to go for....if power..then you have to put more money to it or find a way to achieve it in a way no one has ever done...and cheers to your project drift car bud..
But will it blend?!?
you should put a nice little turbo in that... that would be badass
When you're done with the car make drift videos please
That's his goal so he can get more subs ;)
Kinda sounds like a screaming demon 😂😂
That injector isn't pushed in all the way!
I'd rather work on that than go to school
Just wanted to comment to say you are very nice ! I always love ur vid
Good work mate! Keep it up!
Hey 3D what size helmet do you wear
if you disconnect the battery itll fuck with your I/M monitors, not sure about in NY but in Ontario you're allowed two I/M monitors "Not Ready"
the manifolds are different the one you just took off is a m50 manifold it alloys more air in so you just need to force the car to run drive it around for a while and it should adjust to the extra air flow and you just gained power
nothing wrong with it, it is bigger, it is from BMW325i, according to you boot lid you have 323i which is 2.5 liter engine limited to 170 BHP by intake size and ECU. the intake also look different
Ur vids is soooo cool man

the first intake manifold is from a m50 another bmw engine just flows better . need a tune for these things.
Pretty sure that's a vacuum leak. And it actually sounds really horrible.
Those niligjt light bars are really good I have a 20 inch one
What happened to the light bar for your truck????
The problem that one intake is u need a conversion kit to use a m50 intake
Great video dalton, keep it up
i like watching 3Dmachines i sub to you
best guy on yt
Yo 3D how much did you pick that thing up for??$?$
im from upstate by champlain ny my buddy had a 95 civic drift car id like to to see those 2 go against each other and upstate has its beauty
its an OBD2 sensor for those who wanted to actually know what the "computer reader" is.
What happend to the big light bar on top of your truck??????
