I have tried many types of shoes for paintball but so far the best ones are a shoe I found for trail running!!!Salamon speedcross 4 gtx....these shoes are amazing for paintball...they are extremely flexible and lite on top of being waterproof...grip is amazing...shoes laces are fast and store away..the fit is perfect and are more comfortable than any cleats u can buy..the only downside is that they are 160 dollars but well worth it..u can find them for 109 dollars for the non waterproof version of the speedcross4 shoes...I have 3 friends that have liked them so much that they have switched to them as well...
Thanks for the answer Brad, I figured it would be best to keep the gun factory tuned. Just played with it this past weekend and the 3.5 performed flawlessly!! I'm behind you on the "best gun ever made" comment you made in the live stream yesterday
Yeah, you really can't go wrong with any of the Planet Eclipse guns. Doesn't matter if it's an entry level or high end, they're just quality. I'm definitely curious to try out the Etha 2 when its released, for the price you just can't beat it
As much as I love cockers, for tourney play the last thing I want is to short stroke and chop a ball. I'd go with the KDII. It's $50 more than the Enmey, but you get all aluminum construction, much better feedneck, 14" barrel, on/off, and better trigger pull out of the box. I'm not actually sure if it can shoot tourney paint out of the box -- I shoot 1-star because it's what my field carries. Also, blowbacks garner way more oldschool points than spool valves :) oh and it comes in the best color, pink.
1:34 AGD Automag, if you wanna go new, their ULE with the X-Valve, ULT and Level 10 is ridiculously soft on paint. You can stick your tongue in the breach and it won't hurt if you set it up right (don't try this at home). However, brand new from AGD, these suckers are pretty expeez, for the same price you could go Gmek or some top autocockers too. If you find an old one with a ULE body though, you could throw a Level 10 in it for $100, or throw in their full system listed above for about 300.
Idea for next topic - AXE Plus CASH. Because how many times do you see that in BST ads? Like, everyday? Even though the haters gonna hate, show me the evolution of the axe and why its often offered up so readily for other markers. Are the 'plus cash' wants just that better shooting? Are marker internal upgrades like snake oil? Is empire dying? Is it sacrilege to run a Valken loader on a empire marker? Do you think Tippmann Crossover's will be usable in the new NXL mech format, sans battery? Good barrel backs with cheap fronts = mid grade combo? Do barrel fronts really matter?
Nobody ever talks about dangerous power g4 when talking about good inexpensive guns. Bolt stick can be fixed by good lube or a bolt swap to upgrade. And the line leak can be fixed by getting proper fittings or a clean cut line. It’s a really good gun #PBQT
You mentioned that you are all about stock settings, so considering this, do you think that high end markers that let you manipulate almost every aspect of how they shoot are not worth the jump from a mid-range gun? By the way I have a Gtek, I do change the BPS and the mode once in a while, semi or PSP, nothing more than that. Thanks.
For me I never really change the dwell, fsdo, timer etc, so I have no use for all the adjustability. Thats not me saying it is bad, it just doesn't matter much to me. All I ever change is firing mode stuff too, and very rarely.
I know some fields have turf and won't let you wear cleats on their turf fields, even in tournaments. Do you have any recommendations for shoes to play on turf courses that are not cleats, but will still give decent grip and agility on the field?
#pbqt I've worn a Tippmann spec ops headband for many years because of the thickness and padding. Can you find and review some of the thickest widest and most padded headbands in paintball or other equivalent forehead protection? It's difficult for me to try any on at local pb stores because we don't have many here and choices are limited. Please help my forehead stop being lumpy🤕
How much tournament experience should a player get before moving up a division? For example, Division 5 to division 4 or Division 2 to Division 1. #pbqt
Pro Tip for cleaning lenses: 1: just use water! Its just paint, it dissolves, and absolutely DOES NOT require any kind of soap. Its not like pants or packs where the pain can absorb into the lens, so just room temp water will work. Hold it under mild warm water and you can see the paint dissolve! 2: DO NOT use hot water! I learned this the hard way, hot water is better for dissolving the panit, but can damage the coating on the lens. That coating helps prevent scratches, and prevents fogging, so dont harm it! Hot water can also damage the frame of the mask. Depending on how hot the water is, it can dissolve/melt the glue in the mask. Also, if your mask has any time of layer ontop, such as Cheetah I4s, the hot water will damage the layer and make it flaky and distorted. MILD WARM WATER
#pbqt I have been playing with other people's gear. I already have a i4. But for a marker I know I want to get a electric marker and I was wondering if the mini gs is a good marker for me to start off with.
Personally, I prefer trail-running shoes (asics) - however, I have only ever played in arid or dry natural turf. I'd have to try out the terrain with my current shoes before justifying a cleat purchase.
I was surpirsed how well my trail running shoes did on wet turf. DIdn't slip once. Already had cleats in the mail though so been using those. Going to break in the cleats and try the trail running shoes again soon to compare.
Tie a arm behind ur back. Limit yourself to just the hopper. No pods. Outnumber yourself... mentor the rental guys I do and they have more fun than just rental guys playing together. U can show them how to properly play.
Hiking shoes for woodsball they offer a good balance between rugged and terrain applicable while also giving the freedom of movement on flat maps
I wear Nike baseball cleats, love them!
I’ve always favored track cleats. Super lite weight and never had problems
What one product do you think the industry needs or most needs improvement?
Great question! Look next Wednesday!

solomon's whole gtx line is great for paintball. very rugged tread and totally waterproof so you aren't getting your feet wet in the woods.
Simple Green, keep it simple. Water it down 70/30 dilute. Love the smell of simple green in the morning. Your videos are great, keep em comin

It really is. It so hard though when the things did cost 1500, and there are guns like the Etha 2 that is nearly as good. Just soooo much cheaper!

Can you throw a pod to a teammate during a match?
Not sure if I am the only one but I'm just as excited about the new case for the etha 2 as I am the etha.

LV1 is worth changing from stock since they made the stock settings for cold weather. But agreed I wouldn't touch the settings on a 3.5
Kneepads. Empire Neoskins vs Exalt Freeflex or another recommendation for a flexible pad? I find my Empire Grind pads to be pretty restrictive.
Do you think it is still a good idea to buy a high end gun like a cs1 or m2? Or should I wait until some new guns are released?
It just matters how long you want to wait, there is always be something new. I don't think we will see a new "CS1" or "M2" until late 2017 though.
big thumbs up on plexus. been using it forever
I'd have a lot more respect for DYE had they just said "we are making the original rotor more affordable for everyone".
Mr. Z They've done that. Look into the Dye LTR loader. Super affordable and the same rotor system and feed rate as a R2.
jyster18 minus the addability. To open it up for more paint
Hiking shoes are good too

Thoughts on the D3FY D3S as a low range intermediate marker? They're only $150 on ANS right now
I think trail shoes is the best mix. Playing woods ball with cleats could cause unnecessary tripping
What paintball shoes would you recommend for a arena scenario paintball field

Any kind of field style tennis shoes should do, just something with some tread. That's what I were.
what are the best arm pads#pbqt
Is the d3fy electric gun a bad gun to buy?
I have the choice between a DM14 Second hand for £250, or a new Gtek for £425, what would you recommend and why? #PBQT
Holy shit thats a lot of money for a Gtek, in the US you can find them for less than 400 dollars
He meant new. £425 is actually less than they sell for in the US
It's only that price as our Team is Sponsored by Just Paintball, normally it's £505, but Team deal is £425.
Dm14, more maintenance though
Gog enmey omg they are gentle on paint smooth and quiet. But I agree not the best for shooting super fast for super long.
They're not shoes but what i like using is lightweight hicking boots nothing fancy but protects the ankles and thats what you want to do.
#PBQT what's better a luxe 2.0 OLED or a CSR?
Tips for starting a new team? #PBQT
I've cheap Nike golf cleats for turf and some very light but cheap Adidas soccer cleats for grass.
LACROSSE CLEATS!

best gopro for starters? I want to start a channel on paintball but dont know what action camera to get.
I keep looking at the GoPro Session, dont have one yet but thats what I'm getting.
Thanks for the reply, will you review the gopro?
Unlikely, mainly because their are probably over 10,000 GoPro review already on RUclips.

Unbelievably HOT water ♨️

Just posted, a Mini GS review! ruclips.net/video/EQRIEMqBMxE/видео.html
New balance lacrosse cleats work best for me

#pbqt what are your thoughts on the Tippmann tpx and tmc and a5
The last question was great
#PBQT Other than using a pump (I already do), what else can I do to play with renters or beginners to not steamroll them?
Tie a arm behind ur back. Limit yourself to just the hopper. No pods. Outnumber yourself... mentor the rental guys I do and they have more fun than just rental guys playing together. U can show them how to properly play.
Track runners are really nice and very cheap at outlets.
Is the new empire freak barrel kit XL worth it?
The GoG Freak XL or the Empire Super Freak? Both are different barrels, but both worth it.
Mini gs is insanely good
Where can you buy a geo 3.5?
Can I use baseball cleats
What is the best sigth for a tippmann 98 custom #PBQT
Just throw it in the trash
I wore a pair of water shoes one time. Honestly wasn't terrible
Level 10 Automags can be tuned to be insanely gentle on paint. Just sayin'.
pump vs semi which is better in accuracy and range
PrestigeTiger pump has better accuracy and range , but you do have to pump every....single....shot
no difference. force = mass * acceleration
Ben Carson it doesnt work like that. Its not any more accurate. Paintballruinedmylife made a video about it too
If you get a gap between the two layers of your lense, your lense is ruined. Being air tight is how it stays fog proof.
I use combat boots I go magfed
thanks!!
Song at the end? Plz
That last question LMAO
You can achieve a high rof with the GOG Enmey.
I sure can't :(
where is the best place to buy guns and gear
Your local paintball store or field.
