Minimalizing casualties is the best cause in war. War between nations in this world will always be inevitable, so if all sides actively did their best to minimalize casualties the world would be a better place, a horrible place still, but better than it would have been. I think a captured Wehrmacht soldier would definitely have questioned his ideology and his actions if he was in that situation. Speaking of which, did your grandfather tell how they reacted?

Battlefield 5 was absolutely amazing, I didn’t care about the criticism it got on the trailer about how it was historically inaccurate. It was still amazing.
.....sad, very sad....stirs the heart this music.....???? My family lost so much fighting each other during this war......sad, very sad.......the music captures my mood perfectly when reminiscing on this period of family history
My great grandad fought all around the word in ww2. Dunkirk, Burma river, France, India, China. He was in the british chindits regiment and he was captured by the japanese and tortured by the for not giving information to them but he survived and after that he lived a happy life. I never met him but his son which is my grandad today tells me his stories and even shown me photos of him everywhere and the medals he got. I would lose an arm to meet him.
I have had a dream with this song. And I thought it connected to after my grandfather died. I saw what he saw but was in his shoes. In Germany, Berlin. I saw death. Felt the blood. And most of all felt everything in this dream. This song was part of it. Thank you for bringing this prized memory back. This was the second song I heard in that dream
Thanks for uploading and if I'm right that I think there is another version in game, the difference is when Müller put his hands up to surrender until the subtitle,it obviously has another instrumental sound builds on the piano part, that version is also great and I'm looking for it as well.
Alot of heroism 100,000 German soldiers defended Berlin the allied forces were on the door step but they defended against tanks men etc for think was 4 days until the allies broke threw.
Everyone who died was unfortunate. Allies or not. I’m not a nazi, nor do I condone it. But everyone has family and loved ones. It’s the tragedy of war that every death resulted in mourning and pain for the people they fought for. Its sad, but reminds me of why I am where I am, and makes me grateful that circumstances aren’t different
gives me goosebumps every time. thinking of the relatives in my family that fought in the war that I never got to meet. Flying over Albion waters to ensure the safety of us all. The Second World War changed the world for the better, I feel.
The last great Battlefield game in my opinion was Bad Company 2. 3 and 4 we're fine, I didn't care for 1 and V, and I haven't played 2042 (yet?), but V was memorable for me because of the amazing music, easily best in the franchise. I remember bottling it up the first time and hearing this on the menu screen. That wouldn't be the first time I would just let it sit on the menu and listen to the music.
