- Finally after 3 years, Yasu is finally back in America! It feels like it has been forever since he's been back and he even brought our friend Ryuji from NO GOOD RACING with him. A lot has changed over the last few years so he definitely had a lot to catch-up on. With it being Ryuji's first-time in America, we wanted to make sure he had the best experience here in California. Luckily, there seemed to be a plethora of automotive events happening every week here. That's just one of the many perks of living out here I suppose. Whatever they wanted to see, we found it whether it be car shows, meets, lowriders, the American Honda Collection Hall, etc. We did it all. This episode consists of our many adventures during the past few weeks with bits and pieces of everything we experienced. I know it seems like Yasu is typically the one showing me around Japan but it was time to return the favor and catch him up on all the amazing things our car culture has to offer...

Their smiles in the lowrider was the best part!
While I would never get into lowriders, I have nothing but respect for these guys that are dedicated to their passion. Like you said, it's amazing to see the different pockets of car culture. Whether it floats your boat or not - you have to appreciate anyone that loves their car. Being a car enthusiast knows no specific genre. As long as you love it.
Props the the guy letting the NO GOOD RACING TEAM letting them enjoy the car lowrider life. Glad he got to experience it.
As a kid, lowriders were my first love into this car stuff. I obsessed over them. As I got older, I found the tuner world and ran with that. I still very much admire the lowrider culture and on my IS300 build, I'm looking to incorporate some of that influence into the paintwork and other details around the car. It's just pretty cool when two very different ideologies mesh together in a cohesive manner.
That's funny..I started with hotrods and lowriders. 1st car was a Cadillac coupe deVille lowrider. Got into imports in my 20s and now drive a gs400. We probably would've been good friends coming up. Respect homie 🤝
I want a lowrider paint pattern on my roof and some engraving somewhere.
@@travisstamp7428 awesome! I’ve been itching to find my first hopper as it’s still been a bucket list item of mine. I currently have an EK sedan, EG hatch, Evo 9, and the IS300 as projects to keep me busy at the minute. Hopefully I can find a 63-64 Impala in the near future that’ll make childhood me proud to see.
@@travisstamp7428 yessir! The car is set to go off to paint in the beginning of the year now that I’ve finalized wheel and suspension setup and acquired all of the body pieces I want. I want to find someone that can do the roof, some accents in the interior, and various other places with the elaborate designs lowriders usually showcase. Engine bay I’d love to have engraving on some metal bits, steering wheel/shift knob, and maybe even on the custom center caps on my SSRs. So many ideas brewing!
@@8E6JI that'd dope! It's always a good feeling when someone else can see your vision. I'd like to build another 80s coupe deVille with a 3 pump setup, but this time I'd like to put a turbo LS in it. I want to see people start racing lowriders, the way that other people race donks and cars with big rims.
That MDX was the real draw of the show 😍😍😍
I remember there was a video where it showed Yasu in Japan and not being able to see others or that the pandemic was affecting him so glad to see he was able to visit the US and see car culture and meet others.
Aww yiss, finally a new video. Thanks!
Very cool that they got to come over n sample a lil Cali car culture. Returning the favor 👌🏼
This is what I would like to experience when I finally go to LA. Import stuff and some lowriders. Great vlog Joey!
The guy riding the bosozoku bike (and stood next to that VW bug fender scooter thing with the long hair) is the one who owns the R33 police car too. He has a cool collection of cars and stuff

@@THECHRONICLES no worries. It would just be wild to see something like that where I live in the Midwest.
Does anyone know the color of the orange eg hatch ? My cars going to get sprayed next month and it would fit my interior perfectly. Even a similar color would help

Man that yellow NSX was sweet. But if that was mine I would have to wrap it. 1- to protect the original paint. 2- that yellow is ugly as sh*t.. but for most of us just to get that car that we've been dreaming about, since Dom Toretto's sister help brake him off the prison bus in 1 😂..we could deal with the yellow😂😂
Curiosity kills me
What's the specs on the wheels on the spoon TypeR 🤔
16x7 +45 ITR Spec
Food poisoning and kidney infection dang warrior shit bro lol
Yasu's not tall enough to ride that ride
