@@DIARRHEA-PANIC I understand that but when you already have a brand why change the name just because you are branching out into other parts of the market. Why take it so literally?
That would be cool, purely Japanese scene! Time attacks, drifts, legendary tuning shops, vehicles we didn’t get, what it takes to own and drive a car in Japan, all that! I know a lot have been done, but for this channel it would be sick!
That was such an amazing trip, It was an honor to be your tour guide and to edit a video for the 1320 Video channel! Glad we could make it one to remember!
I literally just cleaned my R35. Sat down to watch this and that Nismo showroom made me smile. I need to go see that. I was stationed in Iwakuni Japan in 2002 for a year and miss Japan tremendously. I remember watching drifting before drfting was a thing. And seeing all the JDM legends at car lots off base lined up for pennies. If I only knew the prices they would be today.... 🙄
Kyle, if you prefer late model cars, but like the look of older JDM cars, do a review of Chris's R69 from B is for Build. He took an R35, modified the chassis, used the interior and drivetrain of the R35, and put an R34 body on it.
Really enjoyed this. The comments at the end mirror my own experiences with the Porsches of my high school dreams... when you encounter them in the flesh years later, there's this nagging realization that they're just old cars... and newer cars are usually better in some important ways.
You should definitely send a few 1320 guys to tour Japan and other countries around the world to show all the different types of car communities and especially places like Puerto Rico they have such a crazy diversity of customizing cars and they race insane vehicles in Dubai! I would love to get to see other countries and I know everyone would enjoy more of this kind of inside look
The first time I went to Japan was in April 2022 so no tourist were there. I am going back at the end of June again for work it's a great place to visit. Where I go for work is near the Up Garage near Sammits workshop and everyday I see a clean as green C33 Laurel.
That Toyota tunnel run was quiet. My ex brother in law had a 2007 corolla xrs and it was fantastic. Until he did an emergency brake burnout, tried to hit second gear, and grenaded the transmission. Shrapnel was everywhere.
I went to Japan a few times last year and on one trip was fortunate enough to go to Shibuya Crossing. We got some Starbucks on a corner there, sat the second floor window and spotted cool cars for about 2 hours. It was so amazing to see what they had. Some of the weirdest things I saw were the rare ones for them. Like a 6th gen Charger SRT8 and an old American muscle car (don't remember what it was). Heck of a lot of Mercedes there too... 😀
Fun Fact: There used to be a Super Autobacs in the L.A. area, but it didn't last long and got closed for good way back in 2009. I had actually visited once during a trip to the area, and unfortunately it was nothing like what I had seen from the shops in Japan, which is one of the reasons why it likely didn't last too long.
I've been to Japan multiple times and I've rented multiple cars from Omoshiro, and I'm STILL JEALOUS. lol. Got a few vids on my channel. Last car I drove was that red S660 at 1:26. You can see me giving it a little go in the Shuto Expressway.
My first car would have to be a Toyota MR2 2nd gen. As my favorite car is the ever elusive and stupid rare JDM2000GT. As there are only 34 vinned cars that have been found so far. People don't realize how much of a legend the MR2 is. I wished more people knew of the car and its history. Especially since a certain man raced a MR2 in the GT series and kicked ass in it. Most people would know him as The Drift King aka Keiichi Tsuchiya. If you want to know more look up the 1998 Taisan/Tsuchiya MR2. The JDM2000GT was a car produced from already vinned MR2s and sold as a special commemoration of the dominance of the MR2 in GT racing.
If it was my first time in Japan and I had a choice of those cars I would have to go with something quintessentially jdm. That being said I'd go r34gtr or mk4 whichever is avaliable. If I could pay someone to show me the long side/back roads connecting everything captivating the beauty of the country I'd love to lay back and enjoy the v12 century or a toyota crown
1st time in Japan, id have to rent an R33 GTR. I would have gone w the MK4 Supra but my wife used to have the twin turbo 6 speed when we were in high school
Have you ever considered having a 1320 Japan? You could definitely find a crew to run the channel in Japan.
That would be legendary tbh
Drag racing is 0.00001% of the Japanese car culture scene..
@@DIARRHEA-PANIC 1320 is more than just drag racing. And expanding could stretch that even more

Very nice edit. It was so good I had to look in the comments
That’s so cool that you were able to be their guide!! Big ups to you, you do great work!❤
buncha dumb tourists
Great edit and tour
It's clean because the people respect their country. They don't litter, they don't pollute their own country.
Homogeneity
I’m planning a 32 birthday to Japan lord willing. I can’t wait to experience the culture and everything that it comes with
Save your money, unless it's just extra cash you want to blow.
Japan is probably my favorite place ive ever been to. Especially tokyo favorite city by far. Its pretty unbelievable the hype is real.
FD Rx-7 all the way, hands down my favorite jdm cars.
That's the difference between people who care about their country and people that don't! Amazing cars!!
Fred's Corvette owner impression is s-tier

Great memories of when we lived in Japan in the early 60's.
i like the way this was edited. what an epic experience. Props.
Michael did a great job!
I miss Japan! I was stationed in Tokyo from 2015-2019 and our time went so quick there because we loved every minute of it. Such a bad ass country.
Absolutky 100% r34 gtr or the supra! They are the jdm kings and always will be in my eyes
I love visiting Japan and have been there more than sixty times. Japan is awesome.

I can dig that :)
Kyle running across the street like Naruto in the forest was oddly funny. Looks like you guys had a great time.

Alright, I’m not even a Japanese car enthusiast, but this was a great video. You guys hit a lot of the high points for auto enthusiasts.
The Limo..In Japan it doesn't cost an arm and a leg....Just a little finger. Seriously I ❤🇯🇵
Best to you Scott 🏁
That Carolla is one of the most fun cars I have ever driven... really pushes you back in your set.

The cars are amazing

Those cars are awesome, I would have liked to see a 90s MR2. I have a built 92 and I absolutely love this car.
Love this video. Cool to branch out from the regular video content! 10/10
" ive never had so much fun crossing the street " 😂😂😂 no lie lol

I just realized, there's an up garage like 5 blocks from where I work. I'm going to check it out next week 😁
This made me miss my R34 GT-T. HKS exhaust and Greddy BOV made perfect sounds for the RB25.
My top jdm cars are Mazda RX3 and Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R
That's such a cool trip. It's definitely on my bucket list.
Epic video! Absolute dream trip right there

Rented the white R33 while I was there in October! It was awesome.
Honda s660 looks so cool weird and small, Japan different!
Great fun episode. I miss the Autobac’s locations we used to have in South California.
2nd gen Aristo is my favorite JDM car. With that said I'll definitely what to drive around in a VSPEC Bayside Blue R34 and The Century
What an experience
When I lived in the UK, I had a 95 FTO. If I could find it, I would own it again and bring it back.
You really don't see FTO's anywhere nowadays
@@_Professor_Oak Exactly. Would be something different on our shores
this was amazing! and im pretty sure i raced a few of these cars in gran turismo lol and real life:) Thanks for the tour!
I am currently saving for an estate AWD that won't be legal for a few more year! excited none the less!
I’d take the R33 all day! I love that car!
"Just get one Kyle it's fine". Hahahaha awesome

i would take out the evo 6 or the 3000 gt vr4. those are my dream cars.

We used to have a Super Autobacs in Tustin, California. Unfortunately, it didn't last long.
Homie was perma-fried this video and I love it lmao

First choice would be Supra MK4, followed by R34 and FD3S.
I’d drive that Evo hands down
1st time in Japan, id have to rent an R33 GTR. I would have gone w the MK4 Supra but my wife used to have the twin turbo 6 speed when we were in high school
Saying “ I have one of these “ to a completely different generation car is wild .
