What a way to experience car culture in Japan - riding passenger in a JZX100 Mark II sedan, drifting on the highways of Japan at over 90mph and doing tandem drifts through the mountains! We wrapped up by taking our shenanigans to the circuit for some legitimate drifting, which turned out to be way crazier than expected.

I don’t even smoke myself, and my parents educated well. Just wanted to point out, the fact that Japanese people seem to be more respectful toward strangers than most people. Y’all took it personal as hell 🤣
A smile hasn't left your face the entire time you were in Japan. Getting to see the car culture there is amazing. I really hope you guys can go back and show more of the ultra rare cars and the culture. Great series of videos for sure.

It is kinda risky to film the street drifting so most touges have a no filming rule. But there are some occasions like this when a few guys give permission to film them.

Cool to see drifting getting some love from dudes in other driving disciplines. Been drifting since '07 and NOBODY liked us back then. Lotta the internet has gone to hell but I think car dudes across the board are appreciating each other more now. Ya love to see it.

The young kids of the old guys that thought drifting was dumb are getting older and have realized any motorsport can be fun. I'm 50 and loved it from the start, it was almost like Rally racing on asphalt I thought. I had kids when Formula D first hit tv and they loved it. So we built my son a Supra when he was in high school. He has a son now so we slowed but we were in the middle of rebuilding the car again. Less fast and furious looking but more under the body performance this time.
for some reason, people just hate on it because they don't see it as a real motorsport which is bs. and they always say its a massive waste for not even real racing. @@paulcampos9811
It's what's on the inside that counts moreso than the exterior imo. You can have an absolute beater of a machine and turn it into a rocket and surprise people.

This video had me so emotional. This is every car guys dream. Wow 🤩 totally a mind blowing chill bump journey that had me smiling ear to ear and even a tear just because it was so friggin beautiful. This is the true Japanese car culture that id love to experience one day when i can get to Japan. It brought back some core memories growing up drifting the back roads in my s13 with friends. This was a treat. I’m so glad this popped on my suggested feed this evening as I needed it so bad. ❤❤❤❤❤ loved seeing how happy you guys were doing this too, it made it feel that much more genuine and wholesome.

Kyle JZX100 is the name of these toyotas, Mark II, Chaser and Cresta are the variations.
Similar too how the Hellcat, Daytona and super bee are the variations. Charger is the name of the chassis.
You where in the Mark II. Nailed the Cresta when you seen it! Lastly you where finally inside the Chaser at the circuit! 🎉

I have been watching this 30min. video for almost 2 hours because I can’t stop rewinding and watching that epic mountain drifting, and then I finally made it far enough to see Sam on a 1320 video shredding for that ride along! I’ve been following him for years since I found him through Adam Lz and his entertaining character kept me watching and now he’s freaking killing it and throwing down at the track for 1320! 🤯👏👏👏
OH YEAH… Why can’t Hoonigan have this level content in Japan? They been there for all the cars and a couple cool clips but nothing compared to what 1320 just put into 30 minutes from Tokyo!

These guys are insane I honestly did not know that they still went that hard in the mountains. Such a cool car culture. This is some of the best footage you guys have gotten. I bet these guys like to watch the crazy no prep stuff drag races you guys cover since it's less common there and vice-versa
