You are focusing on the wrong thing. The practice of making memes and jokes is reported to be prevalent(?) in the court system there.
The judge probably had to resign as it's an extremely unprofessional conduct at the most. Kelly Schaeffer the clerk also participated in the jokes and memes and was pointed out she had a motive for reporting it. She may have had a grudge against the judge, who filed a report of misconduct on Kelly Schaeffer(SP?) the clerk. There is some indication she may have lied about some of the things that went on in the courtroom.

@@starbase51shiptestingfacility so by your logic we shouldn’t care because it happens in all their courtrooms?? Gross. Btw, that’s exactly what a guilty person(a) would want you to think about a whistleblower, doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out. 🙄

It's the unprofessional practices, that's the problem. Not necessarily just one person. Even the "whistleblower" admitted to participating in the memes and jokes. You'll find this out when you look over the other reports in the series.

Lol., like regardless if there was a book or not all the book represented was a place that you put all your Memes. Even if there wasn’t a book you still put disrespectful Memes up on the wall. And if you didn’t throw the kid a party, then why did you turn the cameras off and why didn’t the judge tell the parents to make the kid stop shooting bubbles in the court room? In my court room experiences, they make statements in the beginning of court that if your kid is going to have a problem they need to be taken outside the court room. And if a kid does start to become fussy they’re asked to leave. There’s too much evidence here to suggest that there is an innocuous reason for every charge against them. And this lady wasn’t seeking attention, attention came to her.

Well, we know where this one stands. Goes to show that not all men believe in honor because that he’s dishonoring the whistleblower, when the evidence backs up her claims. Because someone participated doesn’t invalidate their concerns & claims. That’s the most insane excuse I’ve ever heard. So, if you participate in an assault, robbery or murder, you shouldn’t come forward & report it because you, too, were there? Come on. This tells you a lot about what’s going on in our judicial system that the Judge, bailiff & court reporter are all using the courtroom like a teenage playroom time; rather than respecting the office & titles they hold. And that is why they should never hold the titles again. Americans have HAD IT with the corrupt doing as they please & always getting away with it because the chain has been well designed; the corrupt are hired by the corrupt and do on, so that when actions are ever brought to light, there’s someone there to cover for them & excuse them away. NO MORE! It’s time for the corrupt to go where the rest of us do when we break the law - jail. And, if you can’t uphold the law by your own actions, then you certainly have no place applying the law to others. Snd this is yet another good reason why every American should look into becoming an American National - these are the people who can have influence in your life as a United States citizen. That’s scary.

    1) If everyone was doing it that is an even bigger issue that should be looked into... brings all the cases handled in that courthouse into question really.
    2) Dude is wearing a thin blue line shirt... I'm sorry but I believe this man will defend his co-workers even when they know they are wrong or lying because that is what the cops do all the time for one another. Thin blue line folks I think are very unlikely to whistle blow on police or judicial misconduct especially when they themselves were involved.

My question is this: If he KNEW this was going on for YEARS before he retired, why didn't he come forward and file a complaint? HE WAS JUST AS COMPLICIT IN THIS SICKNESS AND UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR AS THE PERPETRATORS. It is disgusting for him to try and defend Chavez or the judge for what they were doing. WE DON'T NEED THESE TYPES OF BOTTOM FEEDERS IN OUR LEGAL SYSTEM. I say cut off his retirement or pension or anything else he gets from the government for his retirement. It is time to clean up the state of AZ and its abhorrent legal system. I've said this time and again.........it is corrupt from the State Bar to the Judicial Complaint Board to the judges to the law enforcement to the lower level staff. THIS IS NOT HOW A LEGAL SYSTEM WORKS IN A DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY.

I think that for her to make such big mistakes in such a high position, which is not to say such behavior is excusable in any position, that there must be a consecutive degree of "bad behavior" occurring in her personal life, and those of whom she keeps company with, that her actions in court would leave her at a loss, not knowing right from wrong. When the wicked go to work, they bring their "wickedness" with them, and when the righteous go to work, they bring their "righteousness" with them. It doesn't matter what court she ends up in, the outcome will remain the same, until she discovers for herself, what right and wrong are.

The public does not trust the judiciary, officers of the court or any authority that is supposed to, first and foremost, uphold a person's federally protected constitutional rights, due to the corruption in our local and state governments. Due process and equal protection of the law. To find out that the courts routinely mock and treat people with hatred and prejudice is disturbing and downright scary. We the people are losing respect for and faith in our government and the legal system. The retired officer made it clear that Judge Otis's conduct is nothing unusual and her actions are condoned by the court.
