Democrats have put down the black community for their vote all the way from food stamps and welfare to planned parenthood, and now they are defunding the police telling them things will get better while sweeping NYC accomplishments under the rug. does it actually sound like things are getting better? to me, it really sounds like they created an enemy(especially based on the fact that each year unarmed men are getting shot at lower and lower rates and the fact we have more black police chiefs than ever.) then gave a solution that makes things worse so the cycle can continue. do we think we are going to get rid of our bad apples by giving cops less to work with?

I was thinking that same statement when I saw that. You don't just 'find crime.' If someone is arresting other people left and right, either they are absolute godsends, or they're just randomly arresting people. And it's likely the latter.
I was about to give a long form answer, but I don't want to keep you here all day. So I'll make it the short one: In the US, you have rights. The police can not do things like for example, just pull you over when you are driving. They need to have a reason to pull you over, otherwise they need a warrant from the courts. Now, a broken tail light is a reason to pull you over. Expired tags are a reason to pull you over. Failing to signal a turn is a reason to pull you over. However, not only did none of these things happen, but the cop LIED about it afterwards. That is why people are ticked off about it.
The reason he dug up crime wherever you put him is because he made crime wherever you put him! There should be severe penalties for everyone associated with promoting supporting and encouraging this man. You can't tell me for a second they didn't know what was going on!
And simply put no evidence excuses this man's actions oh, how asinine is society do we live in that were allowing him to go scot-free arguing that his stop of the car in any way allows for him to do what he did or for the others present to allow what happened to go on without immediate intervention and exposing him for his violence and intent to do grave harm to the occupants and the children of that vehicle.

That's somethjng that's always bothered me about this kind of thing. The person being arrested is supposed to immediately comply 100%, but its human instinct to resist when someone is hurting you, whether that person has a uniform on or not. Police officers can walk up to anyone on the street, and as long as they have 'reasonable suspicion' (even if that suspicion is trumped up), they can forcibly grab you and torture you, while the smallest amount of resistance can be used for a charge of resisting arrest, even when all other charges are proven false. So you can end up in court for resisting the arrest of a crime you didn't commit. It wasn't always this way. Im notma conspiracy theorist, but it's almost like they trying to brawinwash us into total, immediate, submission. Its weird.
many people have been killed without resisting, with their hands up and some on their knees but still get shot and killed without resisting at all. how do you justify that?

It doesn't and will never make sense how this excuse is used to diminish some cops of responsibility but this very excuse can not and will not be used for the general public. Also why is this one of the only industries were this is allowed.
Wait, when it's proven a cop intentionally and knowingly lied about crime details or probable cause, they are put on a list. That's f'n insane! They should be kicked out of all law enforcement for life, period. Credibility is all you have and is assumed on their side, against citizens. Disgusting.
I just hope people that get the privileged of serving on jury duty keep this in mind. The cop's testimony is almost certainly a lie. But even if you give him the benefit of the doubt, at least don't give it more credit than any other witness. Remember, the cops are the only ones in a trial that can lie while under oath get caught lying and just get up and walk away.
The Brady list isn’t just a list of liar cops. All cops are liars, especially the ones who claim that not all cops are liars. It’s a list of cops who have been caught lying, usually multiple times, where it has been documented on record in court. It’s a list of PROVEN liars who can no longer testify in court because a defense attorney would tear them to shreds. It’s also a voluntary list. So if the corrupt local district attorney doesn’t care that cops are lying it court because it helps them win cases, they don’t have to have a Brady List. For those that do keep a Brady list, every cop on that list has committed perjury in open court, but as to why nothing has been done about it except this empty gesture of this voluntary list? We’re all still waiting for an answer to that one. Let me know if you hear anything.

That is very difficult to do, propper training, and audits and investigations by third parties would greatly improve the service they provide to the people. Police in varying countries are different. The USA has for a first world country lots of corruption in the police force. And lots of violence. It has more than one problem. Not surprisingly, 9 members of the jury were happy to accept the lie and send the guy to jail but one principled jurist told them that "I'm perfectly happy to come back everyday until you accept the truth that the cop is a liar and I refuse to ruin a person's life over the testimony of a liar". They all eventually changed their verdicts to not guilty.

Reform Police Academy and on-going training 4. Change process for acceptance into LE (no socio- and psychopaths who easily pass lie detection) 5. Eliminate quotas for tickets 6. Prevent ANY profit by the department from tickets, fines, or confiscation of goods (all $ should all automatically go into a fund to help rebuild roads or something mundane) 7. That's pretty classic cop logic actually. Let me do several things that would make a reasonable person afraid, then ask why you are acting a) defensive, b) nervous, then accuse you of acting either 1) suspicious or 2) like you have something to hide, then use force, then justify further force by you, you guessed it, resisting receiving force delivered to you. You know the last time someone received force without reacting to it in a way that would limit their exposure to it.... oh... yeah... that's never happened unless they are already unconscious or in shock - i.e. the brain has decided it's most likely to live if you are just unable to resist and hope it ends with you being left alive. Then not only make resisting 'acceptable' justification for additional force but also make it illegal so if they want later on they can at least charge you with that; even if there's nothing else because you didn't do anything wrong (as was the case with this incident) to get yourself into that situation in the first place. You have to remember that the people who would want to be in a position where that is the norm... are not the kinds of people we should want in that position. Cops should say, I would never want to be a cop, but someone has to do the job. That is like an executioner. I'm sure he doesn't enjoy just ending people's lives, but someone has to fill the position of the individual who injects the shot or whathaveyou. Or the guy in the FBI who heads up the team who targets the monsters who create and distribute child pornography. Every day he has to look for and then look at child pornography so that he can track down and take down the creatures responsible for its creation. No one should Want that job unless it's because they are willing to make the sacrifice of having it to protect society from actual bad people - real criminals. If you WANT to find a reason to stop some random person who has done nothing wrong, and escalate the situation when they don't listen to every word that you say and obey every command just the way you would like -- if you are Looking for the opportunity to find a reason to pull them out of their car, or tase them, or use any force whatsoever unless it is to protect yourself or others... then you are inherently not qualified for the position. We don't have this kind of screening though. This is not the standard to which we hold law enforcement as a whole. I don't know if there are any good cops left, but we just watched a video of what; 7-8 cops watching a guy tase a man's testicles while he lay flat on the ground. That's... Sadistic. None of them physically stopped him? None of them even tried to? You cannot be a good protector of the community and Also actively Not protect the individual that is clearly being abused right in front of your eyes. Someone who is helplessly being victimized. I mean seriously; it would Literally be illegal for him to resist what that animal was doing to him. Even if he didn't have multiple other officers on him or wasn't halfway in handcuffs (meaning his hands were already behind his back), or wasn't face down on the ground, if he even had the physical ability to try to keep him from tasing his testicles (and I am pretty sure he would have if he had the ability to as any other reasonable organism would if it were being attacked in such a way); it would have been "criminal" for him to do so. So that would mean, from a legal perspective, that the "right" thing to do in that situation would be for him to Not defend himself, therefore, he has the options between 1) being defenseless, and 2) performing actions that are [completely natural and I would argue next to impossible to resist but that would nonetheless be] deemed criminal, so the other officers there know that he is just being tortured at this point and not one of them does anything to stop it from happening. Yeah, I mean.. I am in no way defending the actions of any officer, ever, when I say this, and it is definitely their fault for what they have chosen to do, and they should most definitely stand trial for their crimes, but I am in no way confused why what we are seeing more and more of is happening. Frankly, I am confused why people are confused. I am confused why people think cops Wouldn't be bad when we have set up the system the way we have; when we don't require education, advanced psychological screening, emotional counseling, etc. for the people who are being asked to do what has become, quite honestly, an impossible job. This is no defense of them since they signed up for it saying they could do it, but I am unsure I know of anyone who could both 1) be an actual good cop (see above for the baseline requirements) and 2) be employed as a law enforcement officer on the streets (On a daily basis be thrown into situations where you have to deal with a coworker like this criminal in the video). If some unicorn of an individual started out as a good cop, then they would, inherently, be a rookie. When a rookie witnesses a crime being committed by a criminal who also happens to be employed as a law enforcement officer and acts - as they have been trained and as they are required to by both the law and their good conscious - and stop that bad cop, they are either: 1) fired 2) desked 3) physically stopped by other bad cops 4) charged with: assault, assault on a peace officer, obstruction, etc. or any combination of the above. So maybe they go a week, a month, a year... two years? before they are put into a situation where they witness a cop who is a criminal, but then what... if they are good they are forced out by the thin blue line... and otherwise... they only USED to be good, because if you hang out with a bunch of gangsters attacking innocent civilians (let's not forget that he didn't actually see the guy doing the thing that he said he initiated the stop for) even if you don't hold the taser or make the threats, you are definitely part of the show of force, the implication of the intimidation, or a personal favorite; part of the problem instead of part of the solution. So are there any good cops? Are there really? I've never known of one.. Well... One, but she's not a cop anymore. She got filed for stopping a criminal from killing a man... Because that criminal was a cop. So she's not a cop anymore. Just like her, I believe the concept of a good cop is possible, but only as an idea or a role that someone could theoretically fill, but not in application; not in 2021.

This is not an underrated comment, and it's actually a pretty dangerous way of thinking.. A dashcam isn't going to stop a bad cop from tasering you, or shooting you, or unlawfully arresting you & a lot of times when people have this "video evidence" or recording device, they get a false sense of bravado, and wind up getting more hurt. Absolutely we need more cameras rolling. Dash cams, officers cams, business cameras, that's not what I'm driving at. What I'm saying is, if you're being unlawfully arrested, don't use that camera as a sense of "Well, you can't hurt me, because it'll be on video", because they can definitely hurt you, and then they can definitely *erase* your video. Wise up, keep your cameras rolling, let them do whatever they're going to do, weather that's arrest you or ticket you, whatever bullshit, just *COMPLY* .. You hear about a lot of cops who are caught planting evidence or making crap up having been "top cops" for this exact reason. The whole premise of this video is very disturbing because the view of police is that if they prove they observed an indicator (blinker) violation, all their actions of assault and sadistic tasering will be justified. If police in the UK observed that exact scenario I doubt they would bother doing anything.
The fact that they're arguing whether or not that man used his turning signal instead of whether or not the officer used excessive force regardless is what should be criminal.

@@michaellingo640 And this was the exact point of qualified immunity: you don't have to worry about wasting time and department and state resources going through frivolous trials when you're just doing your job. For example you pull a girl out from a burning car then she sues you for sexual assault cuz you had to touch her legs and/or midsection and/or chest to get her out. The only problem is in some cases, the interpretation has been blown out of proportion so that some would-be-reasonable trials are nullified
why are police even claiming a violation for a blinker in a private parking lot? everything about that criminal incident is wrong including the false violation.
That's right but I think they're trying to say the driver failed to us a turn signal going into said parking lot from a city road. Either way the traffic laws don't apply to Private Property Parking lots!!!

This right here is facts, Jack! We need to stop making redundant little "systems" and start truly getting to the bottom of this corrupt ass system. The usa is supposed to be under the control of citizens, where citizens have the power to change the world around them, but we have these fuckwads going around making "brady list" instead of firing and jailing these MFers. How many lives have been ruined by this "cop" because he was on his own personal vendetta? Every single case, ticket and arrest should be reviewed and redone or retried.
Shocked, but not surprised by the last part of this video. Leave it to cops to use a system designed to punish bad cops, as a means to punish good cops.
It's the court system. The Supreme Court has ruled that officers can lie in the line of duty. But if one of us lies, it's a crime punishable by jail time.

It should happen, but if that policy was endorsed and instituted, every Police Union would organize their members to slowly withdraw their labor and work to rule. The resultant surge in crime would be unacceptable and would force a political climbdown. When it comes to crime and Policing, the donkeys are very much in control of the cart. All Police everywhere are NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE and what is required is a complete destruction and resetting of Police Departments and Sheriff's Offices, with new laws, policies, rigid training and above all independent third party oversight with rigid sentencing for the inevitable corrupt and criminal cops that will always worm their way in to such a system.

The prob6 with this is, people HAVE been protesting, for decades against police brutality, from the Rodney King's to the George Floyd's and everything in between, all shapes and shades (mostly minorities), male and female; and while some cases have had the justice they deserved, the majority of others have had none. All thanks to police immunity. More definitely needs to be done, not just in the streets but at the government level, the latter is the hardest part to change though.

as an Indian this is super foreign to me.

How many cops ever make it to that stupid "voluntary" list?
Its a list that means they can't testify in court , so it renders them useless as a cop , because they can't take anyone to court .
Kicked out & prosecuted.
If a department fails to add a dishonest cop to the Brady List, THE WHOLE DEPARTMENT needs to be added to it! Every single cop.
The whole department already belongs on that list. They'll all cover for each other or incur the wrath of their union
Editable List.
LEO's need reform...
1. Create an independent board to manage the Brady List (not connected to LEO's)
2. Take away LEO's immunity (must follow Constitution same as other citizens)
3. Reform Police Academy and on-going training
4. Change process for acceptance into LE (no socio- and psychopaths who easily pass lie detection)
5. Eliminate quotas for tickets
6. Prevent ANY profit by the department from tickets, fines, or confiscation of goods (all $ should all automatically go into a fund to help rebuild roads or something mundane)
7. Change the standards for LEO's from logistics to character and community relations
Every single cop? Even the rookie that started a few weeks back, sure that's definitely fair to him. You people are always so extreme.
@@chrisredfield6274 Let the rookie appeal it and have his "day in court".
If the person moves because of pain from the torture, their excuse is he is resisting and more torture is inflicted on them.

A breathing cop is a lying cop, 98 out of 100 times.
this cop needs to be in prison, and his supervisors along with him for allowing it, and trying to cover it up.
Now people can come to a clear conclusion, that 89 percent , join to do harm, not protect the public. Very clear!!!! You know they come from Europe. Not all!!
FACT!
And the fact that it was on a series of cops committing corrupt actions and no one said anything then. Tf.

Even when proven they were lying, they still receive protection and are allowed to resign.
They need to be fired, arrested, and charged.
He needs to be giving the death penalty
You mean promoted
@@colinpryor4290yeah the system you described sucks. Qualified Immunity is the best system on paper and in practice. You end it, nobody is stopping a crime. They will watch, take evidence, leave, and come back with a warrant. They will not help you, they won’t answer calls in a timely manner, they will do nothing that poses a risk to criminalized. My first thoughts when I heard that...: in other words, he will find or manufacture a way to criminalize anyone he comes into contact with.
We actually PAY these people to criminalize us, harass us, extort us, cage us, brutalize us, kill us.
What a DISGRACE
@@readingfrenzy3818 you concent to it.Code , statute, policy, are PRESUMED, Assumed, CONTRACT. They are COLOR OF LAW infractions, that Are NOT CRIMES.
Glad my taxes went to someone hurt by cops
Immunity needs to be thrown out and he needs to be charged as if a civilian did something evil like that 🤦♂️. We definitely need to protest and fight for this. You would see such a big difference in police and so many less dirty and sadistic cops. This is sad
I mean if they are the coercive force of the law they should get double sentence
@Anthony lee What planet do you live in, where you think they don't get/have immunity? Please do the slightest bit of research before writing such ignorance on social media. 🙄
@Anthony lee Oh wow, some get eventually charged with SOMETHING...after pressure from the media and the citizens. Now tell me, what percentage of those charged actually get convicted with a serious sentence and not just a slap on the wrist or worse...get acquitted or not found guilty all together even though the evidence is there?
Qualified immunity is literally their get outta jail, I can do whatever I want with little to no repercussions free card ffs. Let's be real ! 🙄🙄🙄

"they investigated themselves and found no wrong doing ' ✨
Lol its ridiculous they need to have independent case reviews from others that dnt benefit from being dirty
Imagine that 🤦🏻♂️ 🙄
I was more honest doing “self graded” assignments at school than the cops were during their own investigations.
Its heartbreaking that you have NO CHOICE but to watch your love ones be assaulted by cops & can't help. It takes a cruel person to do this to someone. Cops defend cops, its time for citizens to DEFEND citizens.
Oh yes you can help grow some balls fTP1
I would have died that day if that was my dad or my brother.
You cant defend yourself against police. They have every legal right to use equal or greater force to arrest you. They will kill you and no one will do anything about it. You would litterally have to kill every cop in the country to be able to physically defend yourself from an illegal arrest and survive.
@@welovemarbles7191 unfortunately
@@welovemarbles7191 I see what you mean but you do have the right to resist an illegal arrest, by whatever force is necessary. With that being said I highly recommend that you comply but let it be known that it is against your will that you are complying, resisting at using whatever force is necessary will almost always end up with you dead or incapacitated at the least.
Signal or not, it did not warrant an abusive or criminal act.
It was degrading, demeaning, criminal and abuse of power.
God help this family😢

@Jim Slip the people… round up the community put a buncha white sacks on ppls heads find these “police” n act out real justice a hanging or burning should suffice for representing the “law” n then doing such things to citizens truly disposable
@Jim Slip People like Rashad Richey.
@Jim Slip All volunteer civilian body, I know they can be corrupted also, just like a jury. When an incident occurs, you select a pool of 12 citizens and then go from there.
@BeBotanical And there should be trauma on all of these police that are there that did nothing to stop this inhumane crime against this man.Can know one open there eyes and see every day what is going on here It's way past time we stand as one when we see this happen and put a stop to it once and for all A cops badge dose not give them the wright to do this These criminals need to be in prison .We would be if we did this to them or we would be dead it's time to turn the tables And stop the madness
