i love how she shows that even a small "insignificant" animal has rich emotions and personality. we just have to listen. Edit: Several people complained about me using the word "insignificant." Let me clarify: I do NOT think they're insignificant. In fact, I own birds and teach people around me just how much personality and emotions they have. When I say insignificant, I meant how MOST people see them. Unfortunately, most people appreciate cats and dogs, but not birds. Before me, many of my friends/family think birds are 2-dimensional animals with no feelings. But I'm glad people are starting to appreciate them more. Anyway, stop telling me birds are not insignificant, I KNOW that. Go tell people around you.
Miles above the planet, over eons of time, every animal is as significant as another. And whatever the significance each one of us may have, your reaction of love for the kindness of another is the bedrock of human potential.

I LOVE sparrows-- such an under appreciated little bird. Loved hearing Happy's story and how these two found each other. Such a special, lovely connection between animal and human!
Considering the disability, he was more than likely pushed out of the nest by a bigger sibling. His happy, outgoing and generous nature shows he is glad for the help and love he's received from his new mum. There's no other love like it. I love birds, and I always keep them, and about about 10 years ago a little 3 month old cockatiel came into my home. She was the runt. She was half blind, couldn't fly... she'd been bullied in her original aviary by the other birds... she was underweight, and her feet were underdeveloped due to constantly being pushed off the aviary perches... and everything was a threat to her, because that's all she knew. Pain and suffering. I put up with the bleeding fingers and chewed fingernails and the screaming for about 3 weeks until she knew I was no threat, and I gave her love and attention... and eventually I was the only creature, human or otherwise, that could touch her and my voice was the only voice she would listen to. I even got her to give me kisses before bedtime. Sadly she died at only 3 years old, but I gave her the happiest life I could have possibly have given her. Birds know. They ain't stupid.
There was a tv show on the BBC (many, MANY years ago) called Bird Brain of Britain. Despite the popular definition of "bird brains" it wasn't a quiz show to find stupid people. Instead it showed everyday garden birds solving puzzles people set up all over the country. Birds have to be smart to keep up in the human-squirrel-bird feeding table war!

In college, my little brother once saved a dove from a cat. This dove was barely alive and frightened literally half to death. My brother kept him in his room until the dove had recovered from his wounds and could fly. From that day on, every day from dawn to dusk, if my brother went out anywhere, the dove followed him. All the way to class and then back home... and even if my brother took a cab to like the mall, the dove would fly and when he got out, there he was... Pretty cool.

Supposedly tired to the edge.. 🙏
Right?!
I had 2 sick motherless 5 week old kittens, and I was so sleep deprived, I almost put kitten milk in my coffee. (Now that I look back, I wonder if I might have downed a cup or 2 like that and not noticed. Lol) Every 20 minutes, she must have been so unreasonably tired! Happy was what she needed though. This is astounding. I never would have imagined a sparrow and humans could have a relationship like this. And this is a heartwarming story!
Birds are (usually) surprisingly smart for their size.
its not just humans, other animals have shown the same level of bonding to each other. if you have to feed the bird everyday, and feed it every 20mins for like a month, you'd develop quite a bond to it too
I’m more amazed to see a RUclips commenter spell “would have” correctly.

i love how she shows that even a small "insignificant" animal has rich emotions and personality. we just have to listen.
This made me cry. We truly don’t understand animals as much as we think we do.

Lord Jesus Christ is coming back everyone, please don’t worship celebrities and entertainment, focus on Him alone. I promise there’s more to life than money, partying, homosexuality and music. Hell is real, repent from sinning confess your sins and ask God to forgive you, I know He will if you’re sincere. Anyone who thinks the Name of Lord Jesus Christ is a joke, boldly mocks and scorns Him or takes pleasure in people who do is in for a big unpleasant surprise on judgement day IF they don’t repent and follow Lord Jesus Christ. Don’t believe them, believe the Almighty God the Father of Lord Jesus Christ, who begot Him. Our Creator, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is mighty, He doesn’t need a woman to beget a son, He is God. I choose to put my faith in a God who can do anything and everything, a God who has unlimited and infinite power to beget!
So, it’s time to confess that Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord and to believe that He died and rose from the grave after three days and you shall be saved if you only obey Him by praying, worshipping, praising, reading the Bible and living holy and righteously according to the Bible. You have to endure until the end, carry your cross daily and build your relationship with God by following Lord Jesus daily until the end. You must never renounce your faith in The Lord Jesus Christ, there’s hell awaiting those who reject/deny Lord Jesus Christ and those who continue living sinfully, even the Christians who don’t want to repent will face the same fate, so please repent beloved people, in Lord Jesus Christ’s mighty and precious Name, Amen.

I have a little robin buddy that lives outside, I found him when he was a fledgling but he was injured from a cat so I took care of him for 2 weeks until he was able to fly and now he still visits me(I know it's him because he's the only robin that isn't afraid of me) We named him Chirpy
Wow💚
Hi Chirpy!
Beautiful story🥰 I like Chirpy😍 Why is it that no one ever names their birds names like Candice, Roy, Gwendolyn, Chad, Mortimer, or Stacia🤔🤣🤣
Awe!!!
That’s cool I’m glad he can be wild and freed
She's so lucky and we all know animals have feelings and emotions just like we do. In this little bird just proves it. Thank you for saving him and being his mom
Ani Al's have more humanity than humans...fact xxx
see, if we all know it, then I don't understand why we're not all vegans. I'm trying hard, and the switch isn't easy, but people around me think I'm a freak cause I care
@@Nevenblue I've been vegan for almost 3 years now and it was the best decision I ever made. I made a conscience decision not to be part of any animals misery and suffering. Love, respect and live in peace!
@@lisawise9849 Lisa, a huge amount of respect for you dear friend. I am Vegetarian since I born, never ate meet, fish etc. but now I want to switch to Veganism.
@@dhaivatshukla6749 I respect and admire your determination and you have a beautiful soul. I chose to be a vegan two-and-a-half years ago and it was the best decision of my life and the life of the planet and the life of millions of animals. I don't want to be part of any animals misery and suffering and the death of Earth as a planet. I know you can achieve your goal to be a vegan.
She wants that bird to live 21 years. Her smile when mentioning that stat is priceless.
I was going to say the same thing! she was really happy about that!
Glad to see he got a second chance, my cousin never got one but it’s makes me happy to know that someone is willing to try!
This is exactly like when we had our baby Goldfinch. I wish you both long healthy, happy lives together🐦💚
Wow, 21 years! I wish dogs lived that long also :).
Our dog local breed is 18 yrs 5months old
Has got cataract in both eyes can't hear
@@jyotikarmalli5738 he's a good boy
I kept my girl CoCo around for almost 18 years.... I finally had to say goodbye .... toughest day and one of the most difficult decisions of my life....but she was loved...and she loved me.
Some breed of dogs live for 20 years too
Smaller dog breeds will usually live longer than bigger ones. Some can make it up to 20 years.
i love people who nurture animals. im convinced they are like humans. and she is a very special one
This bird would not be this way if it wasn't for her! She makes it look fun, but thats a ton of hard work and I am in awe of her!
@@mindylee1520 yes takes alot of love and patience to make one a pey
I love the happiness she shows when telling sparrows can live up to 21 years - cute
21 years?? I think you thought of the wrong bird, this is a sparrow and they usually live 3 years
"The young are independent 7-10 days after leaving the nest. They also have a relatively long life span (the record for a wild sparrow is 23 years ), although their typical lifespan in the wild is much shorter. In captivity, they have a life expectancy of 12 to 14 years." @@Wolfie_xxx
Man, 21 years. That's longer than most human relationships.
Aww yes i use to think the same.. Some birds actually have the intelligence level of an 8 year old human... Mostly ravens but some owls an even crows.
@@Zorororonoav1 lol you can look it up if you want to ... Not a reach at all
shut up :(
@@Zorororonoav1 lmao if ya did you would easily see that you are wrong but ok kid
@@Zorororonoav1 actually it isn’t a reach
Didn't know sparrows were actually that much intelligent, I'm going to sleep less stupider tonight.
Birds in general are a lot more capable than people believe. For example, Crows and ravens often carry hard shelled nuts into the sky and drop them onto the street so cars can crack them open for them to eat.
@@SteveRogers0768 wow this is amazing
Ravens. They super smart.
@@SteveRogers0768 I think most animals are a lot smarter than people believe.
It took me a moment to get it. Well played Steve.

Hello 👋🏼 how's your day going so far?
This makes me regret not picking up this little baby bird that was on the grass beside the sidewalk. My grandma just told me that the parents would pick it up but I still think about it sometimes. The next day it was gone. I just hope it’s ok.
It would probably not be picked up.
worst case scenario : a cat picked it up and gave to her kittens
@@bernarddelossantos8083 or rats!

Keep hopping to fix your thoughts next time u see one
Sparrows are highly intelligent. I would give them part of my breakfast at the train station where they had their nests and they would recognize me later and come to me to ask for food.
You're awesome!
Humans will pet anything. Tbh i didn't know sparrows show so many emotions.
They do! My sparrow was very sassy but also loves cuddles and attention. Shed wake me up at 9:30 on the dot for her food time xD
A lot of animals do actually. My cat can understand a lot of things, I didn't know this before I got my cat.
@@spicycatgames1448 Yup! Same with all my cats. I swear, they're just shrunken humans in cat suits.
@@TheAstroflight Crows do this, in fact my father had an experience recently where a crow got killed next to a tree it nested in, he said its partner in the tree(yes they do mate for life) screeched and soon after the sky filled with black swirling dots which spiralled closer and closer until they were above his head ( he was in a field working and freaked out by now) he was sure they were gonna attack him and ran under only available cover (more trees) and watched them land, form a circle round dead bird and stare at it in silence, he said as some flew off others replaced them, but first ones to land just circled overhead waiting, then they all flew off together spiralling up and away! He is a very rational down to earth man and he could not shake off feeling he'd seen a crow wake/funeral. He was amazed how many and how quickly they all appeared when it died, he still talkes about it now
What a sweet little birdy friend! That's priceless! Thank you for saving that little bird's life! I'm sure he is eternally greatful for the mercy you showed him! Now you have a friend for life in the form of a bird! Hooray!!!
A lot of animals are much smarter than we give them credit for.
And a lot of humans are much dumber than we give them credit for…
Every animal is smart.
Exactly!
It's important not to harm any of them. It's also healthier.
You were meant to find him, he needed you just as much as you needed him, it was definitely meant to be!, what a precious little guy, I love it
Fact.
Maybe to nurse him till he was old enough to go on his own, but now, now it's just kind of a sad, cling on kind of thing
@@taylordampier He would survive on his own, they said he’s got neurological damage and his beak is deformed so he can’t eat normally, he never even would’ve survived if she didn’t find him
That’s how humans should have co existed with nature , they would have given us a beautiful reason every day to stay motivated .
Exactly.. Not to be dramatic but I think that Sparrow would be the only thing that would keep me going 😭
@@pockysmoky3246 awwww 💐
Just imagine how amazing the world would be if animals trusted us and people weren't mean to them and didn't take their environment and kill them and do the horrible things we do to them every day. That's the kind of world I wanna live in
"should have"
is there some grand cataclysm in humanity's history that i'm not aware of? We've been coexisting with animals, domesticating them ever since civilizations began Karen
Your talking about nature as if its extinct...
What a fantastic human being and a true lady, God bless you.
