- US President Joe Biden’s latest “bumbling moment” might be “one of his worst” after calling out for a congresswoman who had died in an accident eight weeks prior.
Republican congresswoman Jackie Walorski, along with two of her staffers, died in a head-on car crash in August.
One month after the tragic incident, President Biden called out to Ms Walorski, acknowledging her help in organising a White House function.
“No, Jackie wasn't there, she was killed in that accident eight weeks ago, as President Biden had noted in a statement at the time,” Mr Kenny said.

After watching this bumble, and watching clips of the press secretary responding to questions regarding this bumble, my husband and I were incredulous. She said he had Jackie on "top of his mind", and the reporter responded, "I have John Lennon on my mind every day, but I don't look for him in a crowd" (paraphrasing words). The problem with this bumble, and the top of mind thing is he knew she was dead; was told she was dead; is actually going to dedicate a building to her in Indiana tomorrow because she's dead; and he still looked for her in the crowd. HE CAN'T REMEMBER what happened 5 minutes ago. It's called senile dementia, short term memory loss associated with aging, or whatever diagnosis goes with what's happening to him. Yikes.

This was an insult that cuts deeply into all who knew and loved Jackie, her family, and the families of the 3 other beloved people who died on that tragic day. It’s inexcusable and unforgivable.
