STEVE PLEASE PLEASE check your sons locking wheel centres as i think he has them on the wrong side as he was hitting the lockers backwards and not forwards. i think they need to go forward so they tighten up as the wheel goes forward. i may be wrong but PLEASE CHECK.
I was just about to comment the same thing Please Check wheel adapters they should be make left and right and the wheel should tighten towards the front on the vehicle
I bought that exact same bluepoint kit like a decade and a half ago and it's so convenient to be able to pull out and bring with me if I need it. Even if I'm just working on a car in the driveway.
The more I watch your vids Steve the more I love them. When it is quiet in the shop and I can hear the cnc machines running it's awsome, so calming to me, takes me back many years, thank you:)
I think it's awesome all the support you're getting from fixing the dyno, to working on the wagons. but I love how Dewey was chasing you around the parking lot.
ooohhhh hundred spoke daytons ,, i had a set of them on my first car clear back in 1994 ,,farm guys called them steal me wheels cause cars with them seemed to get stolen constantly
Shouldn't be too hard, but does he have the time with all the customer engine work waiting. Unfortunately Steve Morris is not a "RUclipsr" like Cleetus, many people are paying him tens of thousands each for their engines to come from his machine shop. Lots of other people in the racing community would gladly pay him to stop filming and build engines, or pay for a new employee who films and edits while Steve works.
i know for a fact that if the Polycarbonate is 0.500 thick it will stop a 44 with no problem. i worked for a place for 5 years that worked with and tested that.. 0.250 will stop a 00 buckshot if you are out at 25 yards.. for your dyno room i would have put in the 0.3750 as it is not the speed of things hitting but the size = mas = hitting force... and be vary carful with how you clean as it will scratch and haze..
It is nice to see Tom H still active. His Prostock career did not go well when he first retired from the NBA. The polycarbonate is better than what you had, go for bullet proof. That steel wall trim is super thin, both you and Tom are lucky to have your legs after the blow up. Poured concrete walls with rebar or 1/4' steel plate the entire wall you stand in front of. Will this ever happen again, answer = YES. The wagons are all cool. I hated seeing Boostmaster II get wrecked. It is nice things are moving along.
$1000 with snap on doesn’t go very far. But that’s still cool of them. It seems like every time I get something from the snappy truck I’m leaving $500 in debt.
@stevemorrisegines, will you ever try make those SPHERICAL ROTORY VALVE CAMS for your legendary engines. Would be a game changer for your SM line. No valve train junk limiting Power or breakage. You have the Equipment ;)
Kyle the wagon is definitely an upgrade over that VW chick car you were driving. I honestly don’t know you kept your man card driving that thing. The only thing it was lacking was painted flowers on the wheel covers.
Dude...Kyle you were driving a bug??!! Fudge! Yes the wagon in an upgrade, shoot, a Little Red Flyer Wagon was an upgrade, sheesh dude, have some self respect. LOL, JK. I like the new whip tho, looking good!
I can remember my older cousin rebuilding a 57 Chevy years ago and doing the exact same thing. Left water in it and broke the block. At the time he was working on an assembly line in Michigan during the night and spending the money working on the car during the day. He ended up becoming an Architect. Factory work is not for everyone. I just retired after 50 years in an automobile factory. Uncle Henry took very good care of me. Went through an apprenticeship and became an industrial electrician.
Except they moved manufacturing to England! I'm betting McDonald's is the largest employer in Kenosha now. American Brass gone, AMC gone, Jockey, Simmons, etc. All gone... And I'm gone, too! Oddly enough, I'm 3 minutes from SM engines and didn't even realize it until 6 months ago.
First wreck The Wagon, than the dyno blow up, Next Cotton freezes and breaks a block...Hope your done with the bad luck run. Sounding like an old Hew Haw rerun Steve. "If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all." As Always, May God Bless you and yours! 😇
Had a race in volusia one year in February. Was 80 degrees there and 8 degrees at home. Forgot to empty the water out of a brand new motor and by the time we got home and unloaded the car the engine was toast. That one hurt.
A word of caution: Don't rely on that poly for your protection. Our test cells have 1" thick poly, and we have had parts of engine block, impellers, etc. still find there way through. It is not so much the mass as it is the velocity. If you ever make your way down to central IL, I can get you a tour of how we set up our (~500) tests cells.
Need to be double the distance when shooting plexiglass...one time we were shooting one and it returned a bullet back at us about same space or a little more distance
Steve Never fails us with anouther killer video!! We Still need Steve Morris TV show!! Seriously you need to get what discovery channel and get hooked up!!! Lmao 😂
Oooh thank goodness!!! I was terrified, Kyle, would LS swap his mustang!!! Thank you!! Thank you!!! Kyle!! For keeping it FORD powered!!! Never follow the crowd!! Be a leader!! Btw love the new daily!! Wagon baby!!!
903 cubic inch... What. The. Heck??? I'm possibly about to get me a small wagon (GM European brand Opel) that has a 1.4 liter turbo line 4 in it. 903 CI is _more than 10 times that displacement!_ at 14.8 liters.
Wagon lover here, My dad bought a mint 65 Plymouth Belvedere wagon out a junkyard back in 86 . My four brothers and I loved the 9 passenger . The lines and the chrome. The car was original 318 y block. My dad built a 400 This engine was a complete ripper. The huge bore short stroke big block performed on the street unlike any other big block we played with. The 400 NA had supercharger throttle response. Think the car with 9 people in it would run a high 13, and had no problem cruisin 140. If you read all this , I am on the hunt for a 65 Plymouth Belvedere wagon.
Kyle !! I can't believe you gassed your springs ! Fvck that ? Its actually illegal here in New Zealand ! It weakens the spring ! You guys should know better...😅 . Mind you, our roads are not smooth concrete.... worst roads in the world for a second world country ! Chur from New Zealand
Be kind of interesting comparing budgetwise the cost to run 10.90s N/A vs 10.90s boosted. I would guess it would cost less boosted but I could be wrong.
i have been a wagon man for years my first was a 69 cornet 440 . 2nd was a a 69 1969 plymouth sport suburban wagon 440 4 speed chopped to a 2 door. and alot more. just wish i had the money to build this 64 Fairlane wagon. but i wont ever get the money to build it so it might be forsale soon.
Steve if you double-glaze the cell in poly-carb it will be bullet proof. The first layer diffuses the energy across a larger diameter, then the second layer has less work to do. If will also have the added benefit of sound absorption.
STEVE PLEASE PLEASE check your sons locking wheel centres as i think he has them on the wrong side as he was hitting the lockers backwards and not forwards. i think they need to go forward so they tighten up as the wheel goes forward. i may be wrong but PLEASE CHECK.
They are installed correctly.
Left-hand side gets the left hand threads
I was just about to comment the same thing Please Check wheel adapters they should be make left and right and the wheel should tighten towards the front on the vehicle
$1000 snap on credit!!!
You can buy a 1/4 drive ratchet with that!!!😂😂😂😂😂
A shorty!
And pay the remaining $500 in weekly installments.
Really? I thought it might get a screwdriver 😅
It's almost enough for a down payment ;-)
Used one !
I bought that exact same bluepoint kit like a decade and a half ago and it's so convenient to be able to pull out and bring with me if I need it. Even if I'm just working on a car in the driveway.
We also have the same security system. I personally run a combination of long and short barrel security in my shop.
Kyle is the big winner as far as the wagon warz. !❤
Wagon kid here. Love this episode!
The more I watch your vids Steve the more I love them. When it is quiet in the shop and I can hear the cnc machines running it's awsome, so calming to me, takes me back many years, thank you:)
Many hands make light work. Getting it done.
Go the Clark and Dewey show !😅
Cool video. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
I think it's awesome all the support you're getting from fixing the dyno, to working on the wagons. but I love how Dewey was chasing you around the parking lot.
Way better to cut springs than to heat them up
That was disappointing with how much they do without compromising.
Just watched another machine valve relief on a Mopar block with oversized valves. Quite the ordeal to get the angle and location lined up.
Nice whip Kyle Yeahh buddy !
The spokes remind me of back in the day rolling around listening to Bone and Eazy-E and shit 😂👍
awesome!
That is a collection
Steve, think about an L92 6.2L from an 07 Denali and swap the cam and springs... 😊
Hi Clark
ooohhhh hundred spoke daytons ,, i had a set of them on my first car clear back in 1994 ,,farm guys called them steal me wheels cause cars with them seemed to get stolen constantly
Much love from Guam/ Washington state 🤙🏾🇬🇺🇺🇸🍻
Steve, you should try to do the rear windows motorized like the Chrysler mini vans had lol

Lots of other people in the racing community would gladly pay him to stop filming and build engines, or pay for a new employee who films and edits while Steve works.
@@RJ_Cormac, Steve hired a fulltime employee to film and edit the videos. so you don't know what you are even talking about.

Thin Lizzy the boy's are back in town. good tune.
lol, my snapon tire sensor scanner was almost a grand after tax by itself.
Let me come install a system in those wagons. Need at least 6 12s in one. 😂

5:55 Steve, which Kyle is "mean Kyle" & have we seen him?! 🤭
Snap-on partnering is amazing
Instead of doing an LS swap, why not do an LT1 engine buildup and maybe even add a T56 trans? I'd love to see your expertise applied to the LT1.
Block is broke. Have to find another.
The hammer swing at the beginning😂
What no JB Weld or waterweld?
Ďewey the movie star 😂
hmmm...how about a high rev NA LS?
nice
Proper air ride on Kyles wagon would be sick
Dude...Kyle you were driving a bug??!! Fudge! Yes the wagon in an upgrade, shoot, a Little Red Flyer Wagon was an upgrade, sheesh dude, have some self respect. LOL, JK. I like the new whip tho, looking good!
Really hope you put another Greta sticker on the new window.
Every time you make a dyno pull I look at that sticker and just laugh.
A grand at snap on won't get much! 😂
Kyle gonna fit right in in Skee-town.
Or his car will, anyway. 😂
Old man almond 😂

Nitromethane LS swap
Boost Mistress?
Is that Tom Hammonds the basketball player?
Yep
@@stevemorrisracing awesome
Torque the inner brackets on those knock offs.
Steve proof not bulletproof
Tom never keeps anything clean 🧼 lol
Man... I'm all for budget friendly custom work, but torched springs? I'd rather see you cut them with a cutoff wheel than heating them.
Dewey thinks he's a sheepdog chasing cotton to the trailer 😂
Oh boy, the Griswold's are goin racing!
Yup. Kyle's Family Truckster...
National Lampoons gone race crazy. I like it!
Snap-On is the Largest employer here in Kenosha Wisconsin where i live. Thank you Snap-On for Supporting Steve Morris Engines.
I just finished the new lazy boy furniture store next to harbor freight in Kenosha.. not a bad place.. I’m from Michigan
I have a chemical delivery nearby that plant

Nothing wrong with harbor freight 😂 but no seriously that’s awesome that snap on is supporting Steve
Pimp my ride.
The wagon turned out sick on the 100 spokes. 🔥
Founding moment of the Morris Wagon Tribe! A part of history I am proud to witness.

You say cotton, I immediately thought Mike Cotten lol
Kyle sounds just like his dad when he's explaining what he did to the wagon. The old acorn story

You need to etch the Thurnberg thing again on the window that shits priceless :)
HOW DARE YOU... hah!
The poly scratches easy careful cleaning it
Get Mr Sam in to detail William. This is were all the wagons go to find their forever homes.
Loved the mix and longer format
A bit of Hickok 45 there Steve. Your Cotton build sounds great.

❤🐕❤️ Dewey’s hilarious
There is Dewey. Drinkin on the job!
Where is Dewey!
Out chasing wagons...
Wasn't Dewey chasing Steve around when he was attempting a burnout in the white wagon or was that a different dog🤔👍 ,the burnout was weak though
Hanging out chewing on something he probably shouldn’t be chewing on.
He was in the video. Hear the cooler see him a few times
My money is on the dog. 🐕
Clark must be one of those snowbirds that go to Florida for the winter.
I think he went on to retire actually. Clark has become Florida Man lol.
Clark is Cleetus from the future.

I applaud Steve for stepping up the safety for the shop after that grenade went off in the dyno room! 💯
Snap On, I have a bunch but someone else bought them. That little 100 pc. tool kit Steve held up $935 Dayummmmmm that sweetens up the pot.
It finally hit me…Clark looks like Riff Raff from Rocky Horror Picture Show!
Nailed it! 😂
ALL ABOARD THE Morris Wagon train LOL
Steve lets hook power wagons up lol mine might be a little bigger and wider, and look like a 3rd gen dodge BUT it is a power wagin lol
Oooh thank goodness!!!
