On this episode the next TwinStick Garage restoration truck was delivered. Once I finish up the 359 Peterbilt “little by little” I’m going to get started on this 1979 Kenworth W900A “Project Snowman” a tribute truck to the one used in the Smokey and the Bandit movie. If you haven’t seen it yet, what are you waiting for??? It’s an absolute classic where Burt Reynolds and Jerry Reed went to Texarkana TX to get 400 cases of Coors beer and brought it back to Atlanta in 28 hours to win a bet. Absolute classic that I grew up watching and to this day is still my favorite. This truck is very close to one of the three used in the movie and it’s my goal to build it as close as I can get to the original. Авто/Мото
The man with the worlds most understanding wife.
Ain't that truth lol!
Amen brother!!!!!!!
I agree, that’s a true ride or die chick
Awesome. Fantastic amount of old trucks still in useable condition, that you looked at for sale just lying around in yards.
They're Canadian what do you expect
The Fleet Begins!!
Looks like the peterbilt has a new friend
Looking forward to #projectsnowman👌👌👌
I want your fleet lol. That's one hell of a woman you got brother, Valentines day is going to cost you....BIG TIME!
Kenworth truck still good condition new tires and seats paint job congratulations men work hard to blood sweat and tears bless you
I vote for keeping the interior stock. Rubber floor mats and keep the pleated wall lining. Also, I think it looks "proper" at the wheelbase she's at now. When you fired it up, it reminded me of the opening credits of Smokey and Bandit. That scene still sends shivers down my spine. Congrats!!
Wouldn't change it. This truck is exactly what I like.
Bit late to the party! But I’m going to enjoy making my way through these😎🇺🇸 loved the W900a since I first saw Smokey and the bandit as a kid in the 80’s! I’ve got a ERF which I take to classic shows here in England, but nothing beats the look of these American trucks👌🏼🇺🇸
Those trucks are good looking
God bless you 👍 That's history.
brings back childhood memories when every truck looked similar to this, and tens of thasounds were on the road
My dad bought 1974 W900 . Ordered it new. I remember that the A/C Condenser was the whole grill with a engine mounted compressor. They look the same except for paint. If you remember the truck posters from the 70;s and 80's, one called the Bandit was my dad's.
PS, Good Luck with her.
Now whenever the Mrs is mad as hell at you, you have two places to choose from as to where you're going to sleep for the night. LOL!
Yes Sir, you are a "lucky man". I can't wait for more episodes!
Looking forward to seeing ole blue finished and then seeing the journey with this kenworth
That is a good project for the snowman's truck.
Lucky man indeed! The sisters look great together already
Keep it up man!!! I love watching ya. Watched every episode since u brought the 359 home
I so can't wait for the snowman truck build
Cant wait for more videos on the start on snowman loved old blue
Been many miles in a w900, the exact truck my Dad taught me to drive.
RIP Pops
If you were an 80s kid you will agree it looks kinda like the Rhino truck from M.A.S.K. I Cant wait to follow this build, Smokey and the Bandit is my favorite movie. The truck looks great. I went the cheaper and easier way and bought a Trans Am LOL!
Hello Mark.. project snowman is nearly there... iv been watching every week... can't wait to see you drive it...
Great to see the old girls getting the attention they deserve!!!
That old girl seen some hard work
Awesome man... Kenworth rocks and so does Smokey & The Bandit. Saw that movie on opening night when i was 7 years old and I've been hooked on trucking since. Keep up the good work, cheers!
Good find. Yes your wife is a patient woman👍👍👍
congrats, great buy.
Sweet! You finally got the W900A home! Now all you need is a Freightliner cabover with an 8v71 Detroit.
Your enthusiasm is infectious, love the KW!
Sweet truck! If you keep it up your gonna have quite the collection
That is too cool! I'm jealous. I don't even have one truck and this guy has two. And not just any two. He's got a 359 Pete and a W900 Kenny. That Pete is looking good as I'm sure the K-wopper will in due time. Between you and Ezra, I'm in awe. Congratulations!
Big Blue is great but I’m super excited for ole’ snowman!
Beautiful old tractor, drove one similar body color ,with white and blue stripes/scallops, enjoyed it ,loved the video!
Man I wish my truck had that Big Cam Cummins. My 8V92 sounds great but Cummins, they make any vehicle sound great!
Nice pic old blue side by side with the snow man.
Rather have that leaf suspension than a 8 bag Kenworth suspension! Sweet looking fleet!
Truck looks pretty complete, should be a straightforward enough restoration job.
Smokey and the bandit is my favourite film, so I’m looking forward to this
All the old kenworths age well
They can sit in a pasture be almost rusted through weeds growing through them and still look damn good...
Ooo.. An Eaton box.. Takes me back to the twin splitters of old..Awkward buggers..
Awesome 👍👍 👍 brother
This is going to be a awesome build, I grew up around this era of rig and love em till this day.

I’ve been subscribed now for a year. Don’t know how I stumbled across your channel originally but so glad I did. I love it and you’ve turned me into someone who had no interest in trucks to someone can’t go past one without giving it a good look. Congrats on the Fleet mate 👍

"Up those hills with shutters open my stacks a running flame"
Roll of electricians tape on the dash would worry me
Charlie haha ... now you’ve got me worried 🤨
@@TwinStix Sorry, unless their are electricians most people don't carry a roll of tape on the dash!
It will be interesting to see what you find
So I just started watching the twins stick garage videos, I am anxious to watch all of the Project Snowman ones. I currently have a 2018 W900L and I have always wanted to take my truck and make it look like a late 70s W900. You’re definitely living my dream life
Great to see you back. Looking fwd to this new build and am totally envious of these projects your doing. 👍👍👍🇦🇺
So much potential sitting right there between those two trucks, blues come a long way!

Crazy to see it then to your most current video of it!
Hell yes! Good buy. Looking forward to this one.
Love these older trucks. My best friend growing up his dad had Pete like blue but his was red. It was an 83. We always played around in that truck as kids and went on many trips with his dad. Was so fun and great memories. Getting to drive it at 13 in NM was a treat. LOL
Love the old watch face on the top of the dash behind the steering wheel - what a beaut!
Love the giggle everytime you start it. I have an old Cuminns and ai smile the same each time I start mine. I bought mine in 2012 and have no issues with the motor. Still has the same batteries it had when I bought it because it's easy starting. Good luck with your endeavor.
I’m looking forward to watching your journey restoring this ‘ol girl to its glory.
Looking back at these old episodes, and knowing what hard work you were about to put in, and how beautiful this truck would turn out to be.

From one truck lover to another I'm happy for yah. Keep trucking
Dear lucky two truck guy! ;-) :-)
Congrats, the new old truck runs fine! Yeah, you definitely are a lucky man! But not because of the two old trucks (they are replaceable) but absolutely because of your great family, especially your understanding wife of course! Congrats again and my deep respect to her.
2) Not to start a new project until the last one is finished was an utmost important advice from your father! Congrats again for having the discipline to do so!
Thanks a lot for recording editing uploading and sharing.
Best regards luck health and wisdom.
