  • 1977 Kenworth W900A Find and Rescue
    400 big cam
    13 speed
    500k original miles
    Little backstory on the truck it’s been sitting in the warehouse behind it for the past 14+- years, the previous owner Robert used to haul heavy machinery. about 15+- years ago the truck was completely rebuilt and parked until it was pulled outside a few months ago where it looks to have taken some minor knicks and dings from forklift traffic as well as a punctured tire. Our friends at Fire towing made it easy and helped us out with the tow back to headquarters were we will change all the fluids,filters And clean the tanks before we start it up for the 1st time in 14+-years. the truck is complete and I will be personally running it under my company. Will have updates in the future so make sure you subscribe and hit that like button for more videos like this.

    I drove one of those! About the same year model. They added a tag axle and converted it to a dump truck. Had a Silver 92 Detroit and 15-Speed "Deep Reduction" transmission.
    Prior to that, it was supposedly used up in Alaska running the "Dalton" but long before my time!

    What would be great is if you put a factory bumper back on it. The factory bumpers look great. But man is that truck cool.

  • @ericjamesk482
    @ericjamesk482 5 лет назад +1

    very nice truck! I hope you keep it original looking. I would put a stock bumper on it and that's it and maybe mufflers with the heat shields. Also that interior is perfect all that's missing is the big old steering wheel. I know its just a matter of opinion, but I just hate to see when people turn these old school trucks into new school like stretching the frame, lowering it, big drop visor and bumper, 8 inch stacks, and millions of lights ect. Cant wait to see it running!

      JeepCherokeeful that bumper has been on it the past 20 years I don’t think its stock and it’s damaged so I’m going to get another one like it anyway if anyone knows where to find a bumper like this please let me know
