$2500 Peterbilt 379 “Rescued From The Grave”
2000 Peterbilt 379 C15 6NZ 13 Speed shorthood unibuilt sleeper found this truck sitting at a old truck stop since it looked like it’s been sitting i asked the owner of the truck stop if he wanted to sell we came to a agreement on $2500 and i towed it home. The tanks were full of water since someone seemed to “borrow” the gas caps drained it out new filters and new oil in fresh batteries and she fired right off with a good miss found a broken spring on the injector and cams had some wear so i decided to sell her the same day i posted it for $15k

88’ Peterbilt 379 Exhd 3406 CAT 18 speed pulled out of the snow after sitting at least 10 years brought it home got it running, detailed and sold to the next owner for the reasonable price of $15k it still needed some work to make road ready which i wasn’t trying to do on this project.great truck nonetheless i hope the new owner is making some money with it

Did you change engine harness as well?
Same thing hapen to me. 21 pin connector on ECM is corroded. How do you fix it. Do you change ECM?

I don’t have an a model but I do own an 85 kw b model I love old iron!!!! Nothing beats the 99 pete though but I hope these young guys will pull these trucks out of the fence rows rather that scrap them!!!
Old KENNY looks in good shape . I am glade she got a new/ good home . These older trucks are a real treasure & hard to come find these days . I run 2 ole "nickel nine's" ( 359 long hood's ) l love to pull up next to the new " plastic" trucks & just look over @ them & laugh .

My late father had a k100 with a Cummings KT 450. I don’t know why I remember that. Maybe because he was so proud of it. Looks like someone really cared for that truck for the most part over the years. Good luck with the build.
