Never take this talks serious if they dont show the other side > Risk, the Trend is already far ahead (2 years), overpriced studios, Political risk, only direct flights from turkey, dependency of turkey for fresh water, risk of fail for developer, High buying cost > new laws which goes for 15-18% on top of the buying price. Be aware!
Please advise why Permission to Buy takes so long.I applied almost 2 years ago and still waiting. I understand though you can carry on normal with staying and renting out the apartment.
Why report this, all normal people already know this.. So what? Does this somehow bother those living in Northern Cyprus? No! On the contrary, there is no crime and a high level of security, no influx of refugees and illegal migrants from third countries, GMOs are prohibited and all products are absolutely organic. Parents do not worry about their children, because there is none of what the dirty EU brings with it!
It's just a shame, everywhere it happens and then normal people can't afford to buy anymore. You don't know anything else then earning money and not caring about anything else.
Simple answer is DON'T. Most properties built since 1974 are on land that legally belongs to displaced Greek speaking Cypriots. You can NEVER get legal title to such a property. You buy at your peril.
Lies! All the claims of the Greek Cypriots have been satisfied and are still being satisfied, if suddenly someone remembered that he had a piece of land overgrown with nettles and weeds, and now a cool resort has grown there... and he decided to get a suitcase of money! In general, as a Christian, I am surprised by the attitude of "Christian" Greece towards its neighbors, who do not show hostility, hatred... a small peaceful nation that has lived in Cyprus for centuries.

@@VertexNeo I know. Wanted to see if they'd admit it. Next war that happens and I know it's close by I won't be charitable to those I find in or on my property if you get my drift.
What a Waste of time is this interview. Only marketing, no useful information for investors. And lies as well: I am in larnaka and prices for services are even higher than in many European countries! Such as Italy or Portugal.
You guys make it sound like it’s the last place on earth that everything is made of gold 😂 You’re right next to Israel, if Antalya and Italy have 40-45° heatwaves from North Africa, imagine when you can throw stones at the desert because you’re so close 😂 Don’t get me wrong I’m definitely coming to have a look sooner or later, but no one can say that’s it’s that super amazing there otherwise all Europe would already be there.
I must highlight that purchasing properties in Northern Cyprus is ILLEGAL UNDER INTERNATIONAL LAW. The region is widely recognized as part of the Republic of Cyprus, and these properties are often owned by displaced Greek Cypriots. Engaging in such transactions is considered an acquisition of illegally seized property and could result in significant legal consequences. It is crucial to understand and respect the legal ramifications of such actions.
You, a Greek, are saying that buying property in Northern Cyprus is illegal? It's a lie, just like Turkey occupying Cyprus! You yourself know very well that all land claims between both sides of Cyprus are resolved in the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg!!! Why don't you tell that in the late 60s a military junta came to power in Greece, the so-called "black colonels", and decided to take the whole island into their greedy little hands, expelling 30% of the Turkish Cypriots? It must be said that the small people of Turkish Cypriots, this is not ethnic Turks, lived in Cyprus just like the Greek Cypriots for centuries. Moreover, both peoples lived in peace until the political power of Greece started a massacre. Millions Greece and 70% of Greek Cypriots went to war with 30% of Turkish Cypriots! Aren't you ashamed to call yourself Christian? The Lord Jesus commanded His Church to love its enemies and bless those who curse! But the Turkish Cypriots are not the enemies of the Greek Cypriots and it was not their intention to start a war!
@@nataliabogach6580 Do you even know what the international community considers northern Cyprus to be ? My opinion is based on United Nations decisions. Yours???
The land theses buildings are built is not legally belonging to the developer. It’s legal owners were forced to flee because of the turkish invasion that happened in 1974. Very high risk investments
Just as the Turkish Cypriots cried for help when they were killed, slaughtered by families by the "Orthodox" Greek Cypriots. If Turkey had not landed its troops, there would simply be no such people as the Turkish Cypriots!
Land in Northern Cyprus is undervalued! I am sure that in the near future, the status of Northern Cyprus will be decided and prices will stabilize. And also: please tell me, where are prices not inflated? In Southern Cyprus, in Spain, in Great Britain? Real estate prices are inflated everywhere.. But this is the market.. now they are falling.. but the time will come when they will rise again.
The infrastructure is very bad. Where in the world you can pay all that money to buy an apartment and there is no drinkable water and gas? Also no transport. By the year 2030 Creek Cypriots will be coming back to claim their land. Go and read about the Greeks spending Millions on military weapons and there will be war between Turkey and Greece.

What are the risks in property in the north?

It counts still as occupied territory. Internationally recognised only by turkey. It is a high risk investment.

So you pay the money directly to the company and no fraud that way… but what about if you’ve paid the money and the company closes ?

You are suggesting that people buy property of the Greeks, with the possibility of losing everything in future courts. This is a big risk.
