Kat,I’ve just finished watching your video on North Cyprus. I found it very informative and helped me understanding the issue of buying a block of land or a finished property and not having to worry that in the future the original owner would come after me and put a claim on my acquired property. I have watched several videos on North Cyprus,specifically Kyrenia which I understand is the main city.I appreciate all the good things about this area, however,there’s one thing that bugs me and that is : Will there be enough to keep me interested and occupied in the long run? As much as we complain living in big cities,we still enjoy visiting the numerous shopping malls in different areas, the multitude of cafes and restaurants etc. These are some of the outings that occupy us on a daily basis. I fully understand that it is,after all,a big island. As a holiday destination,there wouldn’t be an issue,however,as a permanent relocation this is important to be aware of and not possibly finding the place boring after a while. These comments are my personal observations,but stand to be corrected.
I'm still fighting to get my family property back in the South part of the Island (I have the original deed). If you want to purchase. I highly recommend and find the original deed to the property from the original family owners. You have to realize us Cypriot's use to live next to each other and we share the same food, DNA, etc. It does not matter who you are. Until the politics happen and it fell apart between us. The most people that had it bad were the Armenians Cypriot's that know one talked about. I hope the younger Cypriot's generation can stand up and try to unite the Island together again. Put all the hate behind and move on forward. What's been done in the past it's already done but they can make a difference in the future.
Since 1974 both sides have been living in peace and they have been living in one of the safest country on earth. They are CYPRIOTS and are going to solve the problems with the new President. Thanks loads for your video, Kat :))
