Don't believe what a silly minority of Greeks say about north Cyprus it is a paradise with very nice and friendly people, you can buy property with no problems, there are a lot of expats living there, it's not like parts of the south full of drugs and drunks, have the best relaxing holiday you can, it's family orientated, no louts spoiling your fun you can cross the border into the Greek side with no problems, quickly show your passport while you walk through, same on the other side.

IF one holds passports of European union countries USA Canada etc except for some third world countries, you may directly pass from the south side to the Turkish Republic of northern Cyprus and back without any problem. Actually there is no hard border but checkpoints in Cyprus.

Cyprus is not divided in two countries but is occupied by Turkey since 20th of july in 1974. Turkey tries to establish a state in the occupied area. However no UN state haw yet recognize the occupied area as a state. Don't believe what a silly minority of Greeks say about north Cyprus it is a paradise with very nice and friendly people, you can buy property with no problems, there are a lot of expats living there, it's not like parts of the south full of drugs and drunks, have the best relaxing holiday you can, it's family orientated, no louts spoiling your fun you can cross the border into the Greek side with no problems, quickly show your passport while you walk through, same on the other side.
