  • I'd say this was a tough decision but it's really how I have always wanted to build the car. It was scary seeing it all cut up but I'm so glad I decided to do it. Stay tuned for the next two parts to see the end result!

    Who says math ain't useful? Tons of geometry, a strong pouring of trig, and a sprinkling of algebra will serve most of us folks well in life!

    Good deal for your captive nuts. I was going to suggest magnets to hold the nuts while welding. Many options on how to use them so suit yourself. But great job👏👏👏👍👍👍👍

    For the hidden nuts for the k member... They make wire springs with a lead that you use to fish the nuts through and hold them in place. Usually used for trailer hitch installation. Make the holes bigger than the threads, but not as big as the nut flange, screw your coily fishereedoo thing into the threads in the nut, pull it into place, and weld in.

    Nice work. The nut inserts are awesome . Go to a carpet store and see if they have some scraps that they will give you. It will definitely help on cold concrete.

    At this point of your build dude you could be the only charger with a full frame if you so desire it would make your car a he'll of a lot stronger if you would just connect your front frame rails to the rear by going out by the inner rocker and then going to the rear frame rails

    • @camracing
      @camracing  Год назад

      I do plan on making the rails go all the way back as well as making my own rear rails. Eventually it’ll have a cage to tie everything together
