I'm a quality inspector by profession and have seen such parts under x-ray - it's just scrap, often such parts only have 70% of the load capacity compared to new ones. means - at some point the repaired area will fail and if you drive around a bend in the mountains - you're simply dead, that may not be so bad but you can also kill other innocent people. I hope your country will soon have so much money that such primitive repairs will no longer be necessary.
I wouldn't call it primitiive. Of course these structural repairs are risky. However they drive with lower speeds as in Europe so the risk is lower. Once all new trucks are built according to state of the art technic the repairs will adapt as well.

i dont know where you from but this work was carried out in pakistan. people in pakistan buy their vehicles outright unlike in the western countries where the banks lend you money.plus the custom duty is extremely high,in some instances almost 100% of the value of your car/truck.so people have them repaired.

I seem to recall a different video where they also restored a written off truck, except in this other case they completely stripped the frame rail of everything, then the used a press to cold press the rail straight. The repair they did here will "last" untill it doesn't then it'll end up back at another shop, either getting frame cracks repaired, or another frame rail transplant.
Cant argue with the effort to put it back together again but I wouldn’t fancy driving it afterwards. And of course, don’t forget to inform DMV or whoever depending on which country this is of the change of colour.
This is a commercial vehicle. In lots of European countries the colour is not even mentioned in the vehicle documents so this makes absolutely no sense. So in tjis 3rd world country its not an issue at all.

This is a commercial vehicle. In lots of European countries the colour is not even mentioned in the vehicle documents so this makes absolutely no sense. So in tjis 3rd world country its not an issue at all.
