      Vr = dream = death
      Or you could purchase a very massive 3d printer and ask it to print this entire model

      @TheNoiseySpectator 11 месяцев назад

      @@ummerfarooq5383 You would still have to print it out of raw materials. 👎
      Maybe, *MAYBE* you could collect enough #2 , #1 and # 5 plastic for the 'inkjet feed",
      But more likely you would have to buy all that material, just like you would have to purchase lumber, brick and aluminum siding to build a house. 🙄

    You alone have put in more effort and dedication to Trek than CBS/Paramount have in the last 15 years, I pray to any gods that they grant you a license to at least release it for free (Even though I and many others would pay £40 for an interactive starship exploration game.

    This is fantastic. IMO Voyager was the best looking ship, inside and out, from all the ST shows. It also highlights the horrid design of the new shows, with the ship interiors lit up with every conceivable light, display and shiny surface. It hurts the eyes. I way prefer the subdued aesthetic they had in the 90s.

    As someone who has produced and directed a full-feature animated space show for cinema, I know how much work it takes just to create the animated sequences that loop on the ship screens, let alone everything else (considering those sequences are the easiest part of the job). I am stunned by your work and I applaud your patience and effort. U.S.S Voyager is by far my favorite ship in the Star Trek universe. I modeled it many times myself just for my own amusement and I know how hard it is to pin it down as opposed to most other Federation ships. I absolutely loved your work. I also noticed some creative improvements you have made to the ship, like the main viewscreen on the bridge. I think it looks brilliant. I will follow your work and can't wait to see the rest of the ship. Please don't be discouraged by some comments ignorant people make as they are not created equal ;) However, please keep in mind that Paramount is a greedy beast who can shut you down. In 2014 after releasing our film we sent them a proposal for an animated series of Voyager. They didn't only hit us with billions of legal threats, they adopted the storyline of our film into their universe and released it as Star Trek Beyond. Just be careful dealing with them.

    Please for the love of god hire a decent attorney before even asking for licensing, this is a beautiful piece of work and the last thing id want to see is CBS stealing your idea and passing it to some shitty studio to make instead.
    You may have a good relationship from past projects you were involved in but CBS are a horrible, untrustworthy, company.

    I'm almost at a loss for words. I've dabbled in Maya and more recently Blender over the years, but I have produced nothing with the level of detail and quality of this. The textures and lighting give it so much life, it's easy to forget this isn't the original set. I'm a huge Voyager nerd and have dreamed about seeing something like this. Thank you so much for dedicating so many years to this project. Truly amazing to see this, hardly can wait for the day I get to explore this.

  • @AthanImmortal
    @AthanImmortal Год назад +3

    I've just been watching your previous video as well. I'm just in awe of the detail. I remember playing Elite Force which was built on the Quake 3 engine I think, and at the time I was impressed that you could go up to panels and they looked somewhat right. This right here would be a childhood dream come true.
    It's not just the objects and geometry you've built, it's not just the textures, it's not just the lighting, it's the fact that it all comes together cohesively and looks just like it would on the show. You've got the right amount of glow from certain objects and light sources.
    I understand your caution about releasing anything after the ill-fated Stage 9 project for the Enterprise D was C&D'd. I think you're taking the right approach.
    I've subscribed and will be keeping an eye out for more videos as they come.

    Daniel, your modeling and animation talents are fantastic. The labor of work impossible to imagine. May I suggest however when you make a video (like this one), to spend a few extra minutes in the presentation? Meaning, instead of just live recording the model as you move around to see it's features, you actually set a CAMERA PATH to each location....making the video smoother to watch. A lot of model animators miss this presentation step and the jerky movement throughout is distracting from the amazing work you are attempting to show.
    Simply keyframe out the camera locations (as seen in your video) and allow the animation to render out the middle steps. The result will be "glorious" (Klingon) and take your great work to the next level.

Perhaps some kind of extended version of bridge commander, where you also switch between roles of bridge crew (the usual bridge stuff), engineering (damage control throughout the entire ship etc.), science (puzzle game like problem solving inside the labs) and medical (tending the wounded throughout the entire ship) during a mission, instant character switch like in gta 5.

    Oh my goodness! This is amazing! Great work, I can only begin to imagine the amount of time, learning curves and challenges you had to endure to put this together. Beautiful - thank you.
    It also reminds me greatly of the work that Stage 09 did for the Enterprise D (RIP) - I'd love to learn how to revive that project.

    Hi Daniel! First of all. Fantastic work. It's truly marvelous to behold. The video is not too long, I enjoyed every minute of it. :) I do have a design question that peaks my interest. It's about the restrooms on deck 2. Is see 5 sinks in a huge room, but only one toilet and when we cut through the exterior, we see an escape pod right about the toilet. Sorry for nitpicking, but I was wondering what that was about. Looking forward to more content! Thanks! It's really beautiful, keep up the good work!

      thank you, the reason why there is just one toilet is because there is no more place for more as the area behind the toilet is actually an access corridor to the escape pods which you can reach from the other side but due to many complaints about this from other people i have started to redesign this whole area. I have replaced the toilet with an access corridor and have placed three toilets at the end of that corridor. Once this is all ready i will show it in one of the nextr videos.

    This is unreal. ....!
    Voyager is my Fav, it simply gave you everything you wanted in Star Trek... for me.
    I am in no way taking away from your video, but.. in my mind, I felt the interior was bigger in the mess hall, was it me just remembering it bigger, or is that "give or take" the size?
    You got to do an Excelsior Class.

    This looks amazing, I really hope when you're done with it CBS will let you release it. They tend to be so annoying refusing projects like these all the time and it frustrates me how they don't see potential in projects like this and usually shut them down, keep doing what you're doing as you enjoy it :)
