On this New Tool Tuesday we look at the Milwaukee M12 23 gauge pin nailer. I can tell you it works great.

I love the M12 line so far. I have the Drill, Impact, Hackzall, Screwdriver, Flood Light, Work Light, and Oscillating tool. I'm a maintenance tech, so I went with the M12 due to size. I love all of it. They all work great, and I've had zero issues with anything (other than battery life but I bought two 6.0 batteries and that fixed it!)

@@DavidFDay Absolutely! I mean you're not getting the power you would from an 18v or a 20v but it's enough to usually get the job done! I think my next tools I'm going to buy is the pin nailer (which is why I'm looking up review's of it) and the jigsaw.

I love my M12 but don't know that I would use it for this purpose. My concern is that pin nails do not have a head on them. But if the use is just temporary..to hold something in place while the glue dries than 23 GA is fine. I probably would have opted for 18GA that do have a head and will PUSH the moulding down against the rabbet. But your real structural component is the adhesive/caulk. I probably would have used safety glass (whatever it's really called) and not gone with the plastic. Plastic scratches pretty easily over a period of time. Great how to. Multitools. What would we do without them?

Gonna buy one to secure moulding trim on my custom frames. Thanks for the real review.

Good video. Ive always been a dewalt guy because i have a lot of batteries. But i just ordered the m12 right angle die grinder and soldering iron (i do a lot of hobby fabrication and atv/utv mods). Now that i have some m12 batteries that would be a good addition

I have both of the tools you described and they are good tools. Milwaukee seems to be putting a lot into the m12 line!! Enjoy your tools and thanks for commenting.

Gab es leider nicht in Deutschland, also musste ich es importieren. Ist aber praktisch um Rückseiten von Schränken zu fixieren!

You'll get used to the safety. It's just a little different. It's automatic for me now when I pick it up. With all of the weapons training I've had keeping my finger out of the trigger well, I don't think I'll be accidentally firing any pins. This thing is great. Compact, light, plenty of power. Great for any light trim work or to hold pieces while glue sets on bigger stuff. I give it 2 thumbs up.
