Martha's vineyard has 17000 people living year round there and 200000 in the summer. Democrats (who are all for open borders because "diversity is our strength") Couldn't handle 50 immigrants (illegal immigrants) on an island of the richest people in America?

I was born in Massachusetts in 1947 and have been visiting Cape Cod all my life. It is a well known fact that both the Vineyard and Nantucket are the epitome of where wealthy (mostly white) folks can escape to luxury, privacy and security. A good portion of the property ownership has been inherited. The new comers need a lot of money to buy absolutely any kind of island real estate. Not only is there no opportunity for penniless immigrants but even fairly well to do middle class people can hardly afford to even spend a week or two there.
