Well, i assume it's because in the US its innocent until proven guilty in a US court of law. Regardless of what hes accused of doing in Brazil. America lead by example. No doubt everyone involved wanted to show his face but it's this way for a reason. Imagine, as unlikely as it is. That he was an enemy of Brazils leadership and these charges were essentially made up as a way of getting him back. A trick used by countries before, America is smart.
