I was born and raised there
I've been calling it Commiefornia for years.
Escaped 2021.
Good bye King Tyrant Comrade Gruesome Newsom!
I'm still in California and trying to escape
Fled in 2018, born and raised there as well.
I lived in Commiefornia for 7 years when I was in the military. Don't understand why people keep voting for these people. At the time I was a Ohio resident stayed that way because I didn't have to pay the outrageous taxes.
Demerica? or America? Trump 2024
As this lady said, this is not only "one party state", but "one party dictatorship state"! Sad, very sad!
Who wants to see Newsom gone and never seen again ever??.
Don't worry. It won't apply to Hollyweird and all their unpaid interns. They'll still be on call 24 hours a day for zero pay.
Exactly
WITHIN BEACHY CALIFORNIA IT'S ONE PARTY RULE AND IT'S MAO'S DESPOT DEMOCRATS
Well you can bet the California legislature would exempt themselvea and their buddies from this if it is passed.
LAND OF FRUITS AND NUTTS
Dont you wish thats all they was.
It’s actually Commiefornia!
@user-rl7mt4gh3o
And it’s quite obvious that you’re a product of their wonderful public school system as well.
James Madison was absolutely correct.
"The future and success of America is not in this Constitution,
but in the laws of God upon which this Constitution is founded."
Amen !!! Unchangeable laws !!!
Wise words! 🙏🇺🇸🙏
Men make laws. Yahweh makes commandments. Laws are a curse on evildoers.
Luke 17:2 KJV is also part of The Gospel.
God Bless@@nellosnook4454 Keep praying and: 1 Timothy 6:12
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”
The nerve of people assuming if I own a phone or computer I must attend to it and must respond to it 24 hours a day. I don't.
Newsom for Prison, ruined a state almost singlehandedly
It's called mexifornia
You mean Mexifornia in Demerica?
Mexicans are the normal and sensible people in California.
Give it a couple of years and it will be the Caliphate of Cali.
It's Commiefornia.😂
Californication?
Didn't you get my call? Your fired.
It’s the far left wingers that keep him on the seat, I signed to get him recalled…
It’s unreal…😒
Born and raised in California. Moved to Asia.
Who calls it Crazy-fornia? Everyone I know types or says Commi-fornia!
i'm 68. back in the day, bosses never called after hours and somehow the 80s and 90s saw HUGE GROWTH IN THE ECONOMY. I kind of see this as an effect brought on by cell phones. bosses call just because they can. If my boss were to call me with a problem at 9pm there was not much likklihood that i could do anything about it until the following day anyway. Igot in early and stayed late and my bosses respected that by letting me have the down time, knowing that it made me more productive during business hours.I find bosses insisting on 24/7 access are, as a rule, weak leaders.
*And as an Ohioan who was born there, I call it, "Commiefornia".*
All these non profits seem super sketchy
Never had an issue being employed over 30 years. Leave it to the idiots in this state to make up this crazy crap
Californication.
Just a couple of years ago, California had a budget surplus!
As a native Conservative Californian, I do not agree with this stereotypical representation of Californians
Agree or not... 2 AND 2 =4. EXCEPT IN CALIFORNIA .. And they aren't sure. Even California Republicans are weird. ..
They left God so God left them without wisdom to their own lunacy on every issue !!!
Oh please, Christianity is enjoying a huge resurgence here, especially in SoCal. And it never left the interior counties.
Once the orange groves, ice sickle plants, walls were erected. The inevitable scale was never more…
And the mandatory bilingual skill of every job
I never noticed before that the California flag says " California Republic" and not California democracy! Interesting
Stupid leaders comes from stupid upbringing.
Sarah Huckabee-Sanders has it right ~ It’s not a choice between right or left; it’s between normal or crazy . . .
Whats the big deal? In the old days employers didnt own you when off the clock. I didn't realize that was now a privilege.
Really? A bill in search of a problem? Then you talking heads are either lying, or you've never been contacted by your employer, feeling free to contact you any hour of day or night in the name of professionalism and having your rebellion against the intrusion into your personal life reflected negatively in your performance evaluations under "judgement". I taught in a school district where this happened regularly. So much so that I brought it up in a staff meeting, informing the school district that they paid me for hours I was on-site and in the classroom. Otherwise, my time and life were my own and NOTHING in my contract required me to be available 24/7/365. That sounded to me a bit like slavery.
You are absolutely correct. There are literally Instagram and TikTok accounts dedicated to people writing in about this issue. And her suggestion is to turn my phone off? So I have to have no contact with anyone in my family or friends or for emergencies just to not get calls from work. That’s crazy. This law protects you from losing your job, this is just conservatives flexing their pro-corporate muscles and not only is that ineffective with voters, it’s a HUGE turnoff and dated attitude. This is why the millennial generation is struggling to become conservatives because of this dated crap.
There's a lot of people who don't realize how pervasive this problem truly is. If you're salaried, or you're in certain industries, you can expect to be called outside of working hours. Management where I work are basically married to the company, and they have to answer their phone unless they're on vacation. For this, they get paid less than I would make if I went back to the position I was on before the one I'm currently working. True, they get a company vehicle, and an annual bonus, but I prefer getting paid for the hours I work rather than a bonus that's taxed at >50% and a vehicle with a camera that will let them know if I touch my phone or take my seatbelt off for some reason.
Those of us that are scheduled, OTOH, if management calls or texts outside of working hours, we get paid 3 hours overtime just for answering a call or text, per the contract.
@SCAR16L Yea, verily. Teachers don't even get those "perks". We get told, "Oh, but it's for the children." Well, what about MY body-borne children? Don't they deserve time with me, too?
California Assembly consists of 62 Democrats and 18 Republicans, while the Senate is composed of 32 Democrats and 8 Republicans. Oh yes, the Governor is also a Democrat. How do you come back from that?
California deserves itself.
All california needs is a strong Republican candidate to clearly point out all the chaos newsome has caused in that formerly beautiful state and debate newsome openly they still have a shot at normalcy
Lunatic Australia just passed a law not allowing employers to contact employees after hours including criminal sanctions but those are expected to be removed.
I can’t believe they keep voting for this guy
We'll tell you what to pay your employees and how to talk to them. Such hubris from lizard people.
There is no way that CA is going to maintain hardly any business, let alone any new business locating there
It’s nuts in Cali we just paid 50 dollars for three meals at a fast food place will not be eating there anymore it was cheaper at dennys with a tip than any fast food in Cali
Wait, Nuisance spent and continues to spend San Francisco Tax Payer dollars without permission .
So…if a company emails out the work shift schedules to employees over the weekend, then they could be fined? Brilliant! 🙄
Free is free. No pay no say
the terminator Arnold was a republican GOV. The best. He got CA out of debt. He was a conservative without all these crazy far left ideas. please bring someone like him back. We need Law and order back in CA badly. God created the 10 commandments and strict rules in Heaven for a reason. So it does not turn into HELL ON EARTH.
It can't be worked out by employer and employee?
CALIFORNICATION
If boss calls on business after ours it should be minimum 2 hours pay on your check. I worked that way in service business my whole life. Two hour minimum on any telephone calls or call out.
next phone call.. youre fired
This is another flaky weak hipster Bill. Right up your alley softy
Softy
If CA loves the Newsance they deserve what they get. The guy just makes me sick to look at him.
He lies just like Biden does.
What about corrupt-fornia?
So you're saying, individuals can't stick up for themselves and not answer a phone? They need the government to make that decision for them? A boss can't call and ask for the keys to the filing cabinet or to ask someone to come in early or prepare for a specific meeting? I'm sure, Panera Bread is free to call employees though
A Karen somewhere got upset over a phone call.
I mean it would mean that they will no longer keep their employees on a leash morning, noon and night... I don't see the problem 🤷🏻♂️
In retail and restaurant industries mentality of your boss calling you 24 seven is a reality. Someone calls out you are demanded to come in with little to no notice.
Connect to old money but old money won't continue to act like they don't see what's coming !!!
Land of Fruits N Nuts
I lived in California, Maryland, Florida, Texas and Minnesota. California is definitely the best in every way.
How so?
@@zombiewarrior88 best university system, excellent special needs education, good consumer protections. It’s not perfect but worth the tax burden.
@@jq2639 hiring and firing people is BS since California is an at will state which is one of the faults for California
More like Clown-ifornia
Was there ever a penalty for not answering?
More businesses will leave cali
If an hourly worker then pay the worker for the time. Salaried workers too bad if the job was described as needing after hours input.
You could also call it "Commiefornia"...
Nuisance Newsom.
I call it Gavinfornia.
This law exists in Europe since 2017 🤔.
You want to have a life outside of work, do you? Live a little, meet with friends, invite neighbours for BBQ, take your kids to park.
Otherwise you will look for americanized version of 過労死 (Karoshi)
Some countries in EU have done it, it is not an EU regulation. But it is as they said- if you don't want to be contacted by your work after hours. Don't answer the phone, ignore emails, ect. It has never stopped me from going out or doing anything. The only jobs I have ever been at where I could not do this is when I am on call to cover things after hours but then I get paid extra for it and it is understood I will be available.
Let me guess, more exemptions for the pay to play crowd
0:34 did she just say shut off your phone??? Not if a working man or woman has kids that need to get ahold of them.
The land of poop sidewalks and homeless.
Don't turn your phone off, don't answer!!
Been the law in Germany for years.
in my last job i worked far many more hours than my collegues, just cause i sent an email to their (work) account at 12 at night doesnt mean i expect them to pick it up till they get ther in the morning.... lots of people work different hours in different timezones, and that can be quite good, cause they work when you sleep, and can replay in your morning.
No law is too bizarre to sound good to Kommiefornia!
Great
It's a good idea,...we all want privacy...they have to respect your work schedules,...that's what work hours are for...and if they have last minute changes...they have to have enough staff with which to tell or have another extra person...oh let me know when...,,, no
It's called Commiefornia
Why would I shut down my phone ? Who’s going to do that ? If you’re getting your phone paid by the company you have to answer.
ahahaha we have run oil companies,, airlines,, pharms and others.. if an employee refused urgent calls,, theyd be fired on the phone or next text...ahahahahha
Tell Trump to get me the F out of here.
The boss will find a way to let you go. I’ve always worked a set shift, but salaried jobs do get called to fill in.
I love fox business all,we the people,we love trump,trump2024WH ❤❤❤❤❤
Caliphate fornia .
I actually think the CA bill is a good law. It's become terrible, the way employers have taken up pestering employees at home and more or less forcing them to work at home.
I keep the "B" word out of my vocabulary. I use employer, manager, supervisor, etc. I call no human who walks this
iearth "my "B".
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Don't have a phone.
Why should we have to shut our phones off? This may not be a problem for rich people 🙄
u don't have to shut your phone off. Just ignore calls and texts from work.
@@squiggs1002 I know, I was replying to the video. They said we can just shut our phones off if we don't want to hear from our job outside of work. But that's ridiculous, what about our family and personal calls? Why does anyone have a problem with a law that prevents us from being chained to our job 24/7?
We also call it COMMIEFORNIA for a valid reason also, just saying Jim A.
Hollywood votes for him
The only question they can ask is, do u want to work overtime, after work.
Unpaid overtime. No thank you
It is healthy to turn work off and balance work life with family life and personal life. Expecting employees to work 24/7 is unhealthy mind, body, and spirit.
2:35 Wasn't Arnie Repub?
I agree a little bit if I'm not being paid to stay at home I'll do something different
trump, trump, trump, 2024 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Steve the owner A/C towing SC stormed into my home through closed door bcs i didnt answer defective pager once ! The ownership some think they have over another a real special and privilege mentality. I told his wife in office he got lucky no retaliation and then fired!
So if you can't perform your job, it's gonna show big time. Sounds great to me. Pay me right or don't call me.
good grief
