    I have watched ALOT of sunsalutation for beginners videos and although not the slickest video the explanation of how to move through the poses and breath is THE BEST I have watched so far. It is how I was originally taught over 20 years ago by a VERY experienced teacher. Excellent job, thank you. Namaste x

    I really loved how you explained in simple words. I had back pain since last 2 year , this really helped me. No more medicine or painkiller. Keep doing good work.

      That's amazing! Yoga can help with back pain caused by lack of movements of the back and Sun Salutation helps stretch your lower & upper back.
      You should also check out my other video of Top 10 Essential Stretches, which focuses on 5 necessary movements of the spine and other related stretches when you don't have enough time.
      Thank you Rupesh for your helpful feedback.

      The latest from Yoga Alliance and Yoga International is that the belief that there is one "right" way, may harm the body and cause alignment probs down the line. For instance, your stance in Warrior 2 or Triangle: not allowing the pelvis to rotate a little as it will naturally want to do. This instruction comes from the likes of Donna Farhi (SI joint) and Tom Myers (fascia) and Tias Little. There are also great instructional videos on the above mentioned groups and teachers.

      @@Bethaniji yes, that's highly plausible that's why always listen to your body more than anything or anyone.

    Fantastic explanation!! I am new to yoga , I am very slow in sun salutations, do we breathe in and out while holding any pose ? Or hold our breathe . Please suggest, thank you so much !! From USA

    • @yogatrends564
      @yogatrends564  5 лет назад +1

      You can hold your breath as long as possible while holding a pose, if you want to hold the pose longer than your one breath can last, you can breathe-in or out as you need, please try not to force your body to hold your breath in or out while doing any pose.

    Great demo. However I missed the part of the pose that is the namaste pose. Because, afterall, this is a salute to the sun, and includes the namaste as acknowledgment

    • @yogatrends564
      @yogatrends564  4 года назад

      Yes, you are right, it includes Namaste, and raising arms up together in the Namaste Mudra (gesture), accomplishes that too. Just not casual 🙏 in this series but with arms lifted. Reaching up towards the sky.

    Can we do surya namaskar after jogging in morning ? What is the sequence between jogging , sun salutations, Asans and pranayam ? Please suggest , also please make video on weight loss or full body yoga ?? Thank you so much !! 🙏

    • @yogatrends564
      @yogatrends564  5 лет назад

      Yes you can, but you need to wait for your breath to be normal (you can control breath) before you practice sun Salutation or most yoga practices.
      You can jog first, which will help you warm up faster.
      Pranayama, if practised at the end of the physical yoga practices (Asanas, Sun Salutation, or other movements), your blood circulation is better hense helps you get more benefits of Pranayama.

    • @yogatrends564
      @yogatrends564  5 лет назад

      Sequence can be, Jogging, Sun Salutation, Asanas, Pranayama.
      Or if you don't want to do jogging first, you can do Sun Salutation, Asanas, Pranayama and after your body is flexible and nicely stretched, your jogging would be more comfortable but most likely you would lose the feeling of after effect of yoga.

    • @yogatrends564

      If you watch the video, I have described in detail how you can do step 8. There can be many variation as to how you can bring your foot forward.
      You can even lift your hand off to bring your foot forward or you can use yoga blocks to put your hands.

    Is there a time limit for each pose?
    If yes can i know how much it is??

    • @yogatrends564
      @yogatrends564  5 лет назад

      Priya, There is no time limit, you can do one (or more) set of sun salutation (all 10 poses) in one breath or you can hold each pose for one long breath.
      If you want to make it easy, it is very easy to not follow breathing.
      If you want to make it challenging, hold 1 (or more) breath for each pose.

    No beginner in the world would be able to get their foot from a plank to between their hands. It’s ridiculous.

    • @yogatrends564
      @yogatrends564  3 года назад +1

      Hense the steps to move it closer to in-between the hands.
      Besides, there are all kind of people in the world, naturally flexible, stiff, average and in between those 3.
