@I am an expert of gaming and vehicles The truck-based Trailblazer you're talking about probably doesn't get as good fuel economy as the new Blazer in this ad. Lots of people care about those few MPG (or like to pretend they do). (There's also a Trailblazer coming to the US, 1 size down from the Blazer, it's yet another crossover).
I'm sure I'd much prefer the Indonesia market one for myself, especially if I can get the V6 with manual transmission, but I bet the one in this ad will undoubtedly sell better to the simpletons they're marketing it at here who don't know what a frame is.
We do have the second-gen Colorado that the Indonesian Trailblazer is based on, though. I guess Chevy figures that's good enough for most people who want a real, not-huge truck.
K5 was the real deal though
I have a 1979 K5 Blazer Cheyenne. Solid axles, full time 4x4, removable top, sitting on a 1/2 ton truck chassis with a V8. Multiple V6, Straight 6, small block V8, Big Block V8, and diesel options available when new. New one is front wheel drive as default, no v8 option, can't lift it, just bleh. Shares the name but that's it.
Mahk has successfully convinced me not to buy a Chevy 🤣

Funny thing is that I saw someone drive off the chevy lot with a brand new (at the time) 2014 chevy cruze. Broke down at the stop signal right next to the dealer it pulled out from.

I love these so much, it's so true. I had bought an 08 traverse brand new, first model year, we had it in the dealership so much, like 30 times, no joke. Chevy never again for me.

My grandmother had one of the old Blazers for over twenty years before they gave up on the thing. I was like fourteen. The entire time I knew that car, only the front windows worked and the air conditioning never worked, but it was fairly reliable. Certainly more reliable than my first car, an eighteen year old Ford Taurus that could only be relied on to fail.

@@nateman10 It could really change things man, imagine if Honda pulled the hybrid technology out of the NSX and made a cheaper version to compete with the C8. Or Ford makes a watered down GT. GM proved that a mid engine super car could be cheap so now I'm expecting everybody else to build one to compete.
CoyotePowered5.0 The corvette giving Ferrari performance for under $100,000 is nothing new. The c6 Z06 was one of the fastest cars you could buy for any price when it came out. They moved the engine which is a big change but Vette has been putting out $200,000 performance for $60,000 for a while now. Hasn’t dropped the prices of the other exotics before and I don’t really expect it to now.
