Yes I really compared this to a Beta X-Trainer. I would love one but unfortunately I cannot justify having a $10,000 dirt bike.
Does what im saying about the exhaust and air fuel ratio make sense? Essentially it acts like a carbureted bike in the sense that the fueling is preset and cannot adjust on the fly except for how much fuel the engine needs to start (which depends on temp). I feel like at high elevations these shouldnt need to be tuned to run richer when doing engine modifications (within reason).

I picked up a 2023 a month ago now and have been riding just about every day since. I’ve put maybe 4 tanks of fuel through it. I’m completely new, but I have really enjoyed it thus far. Some upgrades are in the works, but nothing major. They really need to offer these with a headlight…
From riding wheelies, climbing near verticals, etc., I’ve yet to find much it cannot do. I never imagined how hooked I would get, but I certainly am.

The CRF250F is bulletproof, reliable, diligent. It's a great trail bike.

Nice upgrades. I got mine 3 weeks ago, I do wish it had more power sometimes but other than that I'm happy with it. So far I've only gotten hand guards. I live in Idaho and have experienced the same with my local cops, they just wave at me as I go by. Lol. Keep riding!

I have a 2022 model and the bike is great for trail riding. It lugs way better for tight trails than my yz250f that I rode before I bought this bike.

Such a good engine for trail riding. With some mods it has plenty of power as well.

Thanks Tim, I actually just put a new pipe on recently from a Brazilian company, 1/3 of the price of a Yoshi and just as nice. Video coming soon!

Yeah man it's pretty manageable but has enough. With some mods you get a bit better power, plenty for trail riding/enduro

Do you have the part number for the shifter? Was it a straight fit or need to mess with?

Straight fit, no part number. www.rockymountainatvmc.com

If you get a Yosh pipe, they clearly state that you do not need to tune the ecu, or get the EJK. I have both (EJK and Yosh), save your money, just get the exhaust. Do a 4* advanced flywheel key instead of the EJK, alot better of an upgrade.

Thanks for the info! Yes timing advance will definitely help especially at elevation.
