Your explanation of the reduced points you get for dying, etc is exactly why I effing hate ranking systems in games like this - because the ranking system actively encourages you to not play the game as it was intended. Instead, you're encouraged to speed run every map if possible, leave maps that are difficult or take more than 5 minutes to finish, etc. It runs counter to the point of the game and is a big part of why this game will be dead within a few months.
I completely agree with you there. Me and some others I'm sure let them know that. Now you don't get negative points. You either get points or you don't.
I'd recommend to also always buy the boost of the suit-guy. Its super cheap and gives you a preview of the total amount of traps and enemies aswell as the 2 most used traps. That way you can better evaluate which of the available outposts is best for you. Also i found out that you can skip any outpost without even attempting it. You need to block the builder of the map you want to skip tho, which makes it feel more like an exploit.

Yes i thought of doing this but what sucks is i put days into a build i go really into giving an experience and i try to keep it beatable it keeps putting me back to dangerous even tho i leave the base on normal and then i get really high accolades for fun but i want to make both because some people like a brutal base but my good builds could be blocked from people if they come across my brutal build when i want to make them all to cover everyone cause i like the building aspect too but i also do raid i cant figure out how everyone says its fun over 20 some and a lit in artistic and ingenious reward us for that not punish us by putting us to dangerous when i try to make a fair normal and i get less raiders on dangerous and worse accolades even tho for dangerous my base would be way to easy so i cant even use overdrive i keep visable traps that if u die u can easily remember how to go thru and get thru with no problem if u do die so things do need to change because blocking people over us not liking or not being able to do one of their bases shouldnt be the only option and ive almost blocked someone just to get thru which sux because some people make them way to hard but thats just one map and for me now what about later i could maybe do one of this persons other bases so theres a lot of things that need to be fixed

I'll be the guy to say double blades are the best. 😅😂 It's really just what you're most comfortable with and my upgrades allow me to lunge from a good distance. Does cause problems with incinerators though but if you time it right you can reach it and destroy it before you get cooked 😅
When I reached master, I was 55. Now im 80 something after a few weeks, I completely lost the will to climb or play since it feels a lot of the same. I need new content. I dont even have bases up anymore since it costs too much synthite. Im saving up synthite for any new content and as such, all maps are in Social. Any new maps that I add will be Social Exclusive maps, as in, no valid harvester path.
For anyone else reading this, search Crafekster and play my levels! I recommend Robbinston, Geneseo, Engelhard.
I love this game! I'm at master rank 29 😊 .. i speedrun and do exactly what youve been doing haha but sometimes ill replay a map i left if i know ill beat it to get my points back and then some guaranteed :D
