I just wanted to help all the young people here know and understand something. This standard shown by this young woman is honestly, not near reality for the majority. Education can help you attain a strong career if you choose wisely. But, then again, education is extremely costly and is not something that everyone can manage especially if your familial situation is not solid. Globally, we are facing much change and challenge. We can find beauty and contentment without all of this materialism. After reading some comments here, I felt very sad for everyone trying to figure out how to have the material life of this young woman who looks like she’s set up in a five star resort hotel rather than her home- although admittedly, this is the only vid I’ve seen by this woman, her surroundings are so minimal it doesn’t seem like a home but a hotel- obviously I could be wrong. One thing I know for certain is that material possesses don’t make us complete. Beauty routine help us care for ourselves although we do not require all this product for self care. Our souls contain our joy and our beauty grows from our joy. We can find happiness in a flower growing in a crack of a concrete slab, in the flow of a stream of water, in the breath of a companion. This.. this cultivation of materialism. It’s not what it seems. Life is so much more than going to school for a good education to attain a good career to have lots of money to pay for high rise condos and skin/hair products. I hope you all understand there is so much more to life than materialism. 💛

The target after a great job and possibly lot of money should be happiness and ways to take care of ourselves and our close ones. Not in the twisted+wrong direction and ideal of attaining materialistic things first in the hope of probable happiness. For after a point it would most definitely be an addiction. And no matter how much we own, it would seem LESS with respect to others' materialistic possessions.

For all of those that think this is an excessive routine---it is. If you have a good cleanser, moisturizer and use hair products free of junk then you are good. What's more important is what you put in your body. Diet and exercise are so important.
Exactly! For skin you just need a good moisturizer, a cleanser and a good sunscreen. This is what my doctor said. Serums, essences etc are to be used to target specific problems. Otherwise 3 products are enough to build a solid skin routine.
That many products are unnecessary and wasteful. Having 20 serums, 60 face masks, 8 leave in conditioners, is pointless. It’s redundant, you won’t see the benefits of that many products competing with each other, and you’ll never get through all of them (or even half) before they expire. Not to call out this poster specifically, but just as a general rule for anyone feeling down/not understanding, people who are newly rich/uneducated usually buy in this quantity. People who have money and are smart with it invest in just a few good products, pieces, etc. Having a good self care routine (whether it’s $2 or $200) is important, but at a certain point you’re going to get diminishing returns. Spending 20 minutes is, in most cases, going to have very similar results to spending 2 hours. I’m sure this young woman is a lovely person, and you do you, boo. But really, narrowing down those products is going to save you from a lot of expired stuff, and you’ll actually get to see the benefits of individual items! Unless you’re a dermatologist/review everything (which the vid didn’t mention), I think it’s just a waste(:
