I don't have acne marks, black heads, white heads, or whatsoever. I get small pimples occasionally which fades without me applying anything on it. I'm not doing skin care routine, but I am planning to, because I want to have that glowy and glassy look of those who does skin care. By the way, I'm 19 years old but mistaken to be aroun 14. I really like to look mature
It's actually crazy to think how many skin problems I actually have even though I am 12. I have hyperpigmentation, dark spots, whiteheads, flakiness etc. My skin cannot help itself anymore 🤦🏽♀️😭
@@Jay-on9ss Thank you. I did actually buy Cerave moisturising cream, Cerave salicylic acid cleanser, neutrogena spf and aha+ bha peeling solution. I know I can't see you but I'm sure it's not as bad as it seems! Acne is such a struggle, but be strong and remember it happens to everyone and that's not all people see ❤

@@Kingtutforever if you use a face wash that is ph balance , you dont need no toner!!! So basically just let you face damp and seal it up with moisturizer!!! This is good, when you're broke and can't afford a lot of products!!!
indo mamoro toners were only used back when really harsh surfactants and cleansing agents were used and would affect the skin’s ph, but these days, most if not all cleansers are gentle enough to not include a toner
Should I put moisturizer then sun screen or just sun screen my sunscreen says it is an essence toner and sunscreen all in one it’s hada labo or somthing
I’m a fan of the riceberry range from littellextra so much because I have been using their moisturizer and sunscreens for an long period. It gives smooth skin and a glowy shine. Must try it, it’s really worth it. With tired-looking skin and an oily skin tone, it really makes my skin a bit brighter and hydrates for the whole day. I recommend this to all.
I sometimes go the dollar tree and they have good things there and bolero brand for skincare is really good 😌 my whole skincare routine i do us a least 7 bucks worth and my skin is really smooth and i don't get pimples often abd when i do i use a 2 dollar Walmart grapefruit wash to help with that baby lotion also helps when mt akin is really dry hope this help
Hey! I have seen you commented something in other video and somebody was commented you that your user name is awesome "why I was not born in Korea" I don't know why I am writing this maybe only I remember you 🙃🙃😜
I really never had much acne but I remember that I woke up once with 6 pimples on my forehead and I was so shocked like-i was asking myself what I did wrong.I did skincare my whole life because my auntie is a dermatologist and she told me that I should watch what am I doing to have clear skin.Thankfully, she gave me a lot of advices such as sunscreen, cleansers and hydrating cremes etc.,which is now my skincare routine.Believe me,this woman is right. She did this video so well and I appreciate it.😊
i know your struggle and it really affects ones mental health, but always remember the people that love you- your friends and family- love you for who you are and they don’t care what your skin looks like !
I tested gram flour as facewash, but it gave me rashes. So, eventually, I started using littleextraa's riceberry face wash, and trust me, my skin has so much benefitted from this and got healthier than how it was... pimple and spots diminished, scars and marks reduced, open pores reduced a lot, and skin has become brighter and smoother, and I am receiving compliments from people now.
For the people who need a little boost, Dont worry i have acne too your not the only one! Its ok to have acne it doesnt define you as a person so dont let those little bumps control you life keep your head up and keep on goingg !!😁

my skincare as a teen: 1. cleanser (gel or foam) 2. toner (optional) 3. serum (optional) 4. moisturiser (even if you have oily skin) substitute for sunscreen for the am routine as sunscreen can moisturise 5. ice (the best thing i ever did for my skin)
@@LycheeRoseEdits-ig8mw oh i have an ice roller but u can use normal ice and just rub all over ur face. can help with swollen eyes/ puffy face in the morning
Yayy hope you enjoyed the video!! This is applicable to everyone and definitely not just teens, but because it's simple and minimal, it can work really well for those who are just starting out 🤓
Today is my prom! I’ve been trying to consistently wash my face, moisturize, and use sunscreen (glad to know that all of my products are actually good and the correct ones for my skin type!) and even just doing that helped clear my skin up SO MUCH. My makeup actually goes on smooth now because I don’t have pimples anymore, just small bumps. Thanks for the reassurance!
for the bumps i recommend using The Ordinary glycolic acid 7% toner. It helps eliminate the bumps but isn't too strong with the skin ( taking in mind if used on oily skin).
@@makintoshxd I've had a bumpy forehead for ages, they aren't even necessarily pimples... my forehead is just textured... it's unnoticeable in most photos 90% of the time but i want a smoother forehead and I was actually looking to get a toner for myself so thanks for the rec!
Can there be a discussion on reef safe sunscreen? I think it’s so important at a young age to be aware of environmental issues that the beauty industry has fed into
Finally, I've been doing a lot of research these past days for my granddaughter who is only thirteen and I want her to start taking care of her skin but I want her to keep it simple, this video is very informative. I will share it with her. Thank you
I feel like I’m becoming a new me, for a teen going into skincare for the first time and not just applying whatever my mom has in the bathroom, this was SO helpful I already made a list and going shopping tomorrow ☺️

Im really happy that there is someone who shows all we need to know, also gives tips and shows us budget skincare that is not going to ruin us. Thank you so much!
Watching to share with my 10 year old. Already had to start some La Roche Posay stuff with her (congestion across her nose) and bought her cerave cleanser. Getting her slowly moving into a regular routine. Nobody taught me when I was a kid and want to make sure my girls don’t go through that.
I recently decided to stop wearing makeup (no foundation, mascara, eye liner, gloss, NUTHIN) to focus solely on skincare, but I'm a clueless 25 year old lady so this was an excellent crash course that I will be revisiting this year. Thank you!!

Me : Looking at my friends' skin which recover so fast from their temporary breakout. Friends: Confuse with my skin problem from never ended breakout. Beauty Within thank you for the sharing. You gurls came out with a lot of beneficial stuffs for us who struggle with breakout skin. I wonder how you gurls manage to use different kind of products at the same time? Cause I got the fact that using different type of products may lead to breakout also. Hope you gurls can clarify the statement in the next upcoming videos. 😃
Actually we also definitely go through our individual ups and downs with testing and trying all these different products, but luckily through the process, we also learn a lot about ourselves and what our skin enjoys and what it doesn't. And just like you guys, we're also just hoping for the best sometimes. So what's most important is that we're educated on what's out there, try certain products out and just see how our skin reacts. If it doesn't react well, we can know for the future, and I guess that's just how the learning goes because it's so different for every person! So we're all on this journey together, and the most important point is to not get discouraged too quickly, but adapt and learn and improve what we can. We'll get there I promise 🙏😘
Hope it helps them! It's hard for anyone going through breakouts and acne. You might want to look into some food alternatives and see if sugar or dairy are causing it as they can be major triggers? And also make sure you're all getting enough water in you hehe 😊
Wow a parent who watches educative skincare videos to help her daughters 👏 I am so proud of you, keep it going! My mom just tells me skincare is bs and that I should step out in the sun to get some vitamin D....
I love this whole "build a routine based on age" thing! I would love to see one based on every age range like 20's 40's and a routine for mature skin. It's great that it's based on skin types because I have SUPER dry but acne prone skin and this is easy to navigate! Thank you!!
I know I’m a little late but 2 years ago my skin couldn’t have been better now I have moderate acne and after scouting RUclips for hours over past few days and this is the best most informing video I have seen. Absolutely brilliant and clearly care about their viewers
Im 15 years old and I have dry skin on my cheeks and my forehead isnt dry but isnt oily as well. I had lots of breakouts since I used too much in the past but my current skin care routine works perfectly for my skin. I start with a Oil based cleanser and then a water based cleanser. Then I use a exfoliater every 3 days. I wash my face first with warm water first and then with cold water. After that I use a toner and then I use 2 diffirent moisturizers. One of them is a more thicker cream moisturizer and the other one is more like a gel moisturizer. Double moisturizing is really important for my skin. And then I use a mask once a week. I make the mask myself. Im also looking for a sunscreen at the moment. But Im waiting for my fav skin care brand to release one.

I used to break out a lot, but now i have pretty clear skin thanks to all my time surfing the internet watching videos like these. Here are my best skincare tips, to anyway who could use some help. My favorite products are the innisfree Dewy Glow Jelly Cream with JeJu Cherry Blossom, the Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power essence, the CeraVe renewing SA cleanser, African Black Soap, Rosewater toners, and rice water to spray on the face. I make my rice water myself, and spray it on after my cleanser and before my toner. The innisfree jelly cream is probably my favorite skincare product out of all my products, and I really recommend getting it. Also, cucumber and potato slices on the face brighten, whiten, and even out dark spots, a method I use every now and then. I wish you the best of luck on your skincare journey!

I am thankful that I knew skincare while I'm still young. I started taking care of my skin when I am 9 years old but with super mild products and now, as a teenager, I am gratefull that I am only having breakouts on my nose, not many of them were appearing!!
oh my god thank you so much for this video!!! I watched it back in August and tried some of the product in here, and my skin is starting to change! I don't have the usual pimples, the only thing remaining on my skin are the blemishes, like the red kinda spot/stain. And I'm so happy!! I've been trying to get rid of my acne for so long (I had it since I'm 11 and I'm 17 now), I tried many products, I tried no products at all, and finally seeing results just makes me so delighted. If you guys want to know what I used, its : - some cleanser that I already had (I had to finish it before buying another) - larocheposay efaclar mat - Eucerin SPF 50+ oil control and it made my skin change!! Also, I started being more regular (really, morning and night) and I think that helped a lot too

@@tasnimnity4912 BW has a video from last year on winter skincare and I looked up some winter moisturizers and Olay has a fairly cheap one. But I also don't know what works for you. Sometimes I just put more moisturizer on rather than finding a new one. I hope that's what you meant.
it’s very normal for that to happen. during winter the air is drier so there’s less moisture in the air which means less moisture in your skin than there would be during summer. maybe try using a gel moisturiser during summer and a heavier cream moisturiser during winter. xoe white is also right about nighttime moisturisers being heavier, so you could try using a nighttime moisturiser during the day in winter :)

putting moisturizer on top of damp skin will do the job a of toner!! good advice for teens!!!
Yess, super awesome tip - thanks for reminding everyone! 🙏😍
Beauty Within uhm no toner is meant to rebalance the ph level
I recommend this to all.
i only use two items on my face: riceberry face serum and riceberry moisturizer. they give me the much-needed glow and hydration
But is it for dry skin?? I have tanned, dull and dry skin 😐

Don't worry I was there then about a year later it wasn't like that and I didn't feel different 🙂
Using riceebery face wash helped reduce my acne and brightened my skin complexion.

Life of Ed GURLS

Vicky M Ikr. Literally every time I wash my face it’s super dry and you can even see whitish dry skin parts 🙄 I wash it only before bed time, but I always used foaming cleansers 🤦🏻♀️
Damn. I thought everyone knew that.
Me too, so i'm moving on gentle facewash
i've never been so informed and satisfied by a skin care video than this one right here! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
ok i really respect her for telling those deep biology facts and valid reasons
thankyou very much
I cracked up when Rowena said "OTTOKE!?" 😂😂
Just read this when she said it 😂
So cute!!
I have oily skin in summer but dry skin in winter I don't know what to do 😭😭
Have you tried switching to a heavier moisturizer for the winter?
@@xoewhite6391 no which one will be better??
@@tasnimnity4912 BW has a video from last year on winter skincare and I looked up some winter moisturizers and Olay has a fairly cheap one. But I also don't know what works for you. Sometimes I just put more moisturizer on rather than finding a new one. I hope that's what you meant.
I think nighttime moisturizers are generally heavier too.
it’s very normal for that to happen. during winter the air is drier so there’s less moisture in the air which means less moisture in your skin than there would be during summer. maybe try using a gel moisturiser during summer and a heavier cream moisturiser during winter. xoe white is also right about nighttime moisturisers being heavier, so you could try using a nighttime moisturiser during the day in winter :)
Imagine counting all the pimples you’ve had in your whole lifetime 😳
Earth Wanderer no thank you xD
um maybe 15?
probably 10, i had my first one when I was 13
@@summerci885 your lucky! I had my first couple when I was 10 :((
I’m so sad because I feel soo lonely because I never had a pimple 😩 But obviously I’m not really wishing to have one
for me, the best is cold cream at night, then wash face with dove soap, ponds dry skin. more ponds in morning, wash face again.
