Is this suitable for use on pebbled/gravel paths?
Would this work for crab grass?
Yes, it works great for the big clumps of crab grass because the roots are usually also clumped together and the blades do a good job of grabbing a hold of it and ripping it out completely.
Can you use this to get to weeds between patio slabs?
No
If the patio slabs are near touching, this tool wouldn't work to pull those weeds out unfortunately.
