I don't think that the neck mount would work too great underwater and I probably wouldn't recommend it from a practicality and safety standpoint. It would most likely stay around your neck but it would float and not always point in the direction you're wanting it to.

Correct! It will take a microphone directly from the USB-C connection as long as the microphone you have supports USB-C. I've used my Rode Mic NTG with the Action 4 with no problem.

@@ryanvargo Ok! I have a RØDE VideoMic GO II which has USB-C as well as 3.5mm. I am coming from Go Pro 8s which were problematic!

I know that Amazon has some silicone and plastic covers that are relatively cheap ($15-20). I can't speak to how much they will protect the Action 4 but that might be a good spot to check!

Yes, any all purpose pump sprayer will work! I included a link in the description of the main video for the one I use.

I love both! I think they have different applications. If I’m looking for overall better audio quality and I’m stationary, I’d definitely choose the NTG. If I’m on the move, talking and walking, or something of that sort, I’d definitely recommend the DJI Mic 2.

I agree with you. The hose attachments are hit or miss. I have high water pressure at my house and found that it usually blows the cap off and becomes a giant mess. The pump sprayer gives much more control without the headache.

Just spraying! There was a small section behind one of the trees that I scrubbed a little after spraying but 99% of the fence was spray and rinse only.

Great question! It really depends on the level of damage. If the damage is extremely severe, I'd recommend replacing the boards. If it's more minor and doesn't affect the structural integrity of the board/fence and you're able to live with the eye sore, I'd just let it be. Unfortunately, there's not really an easy fix to damaging a fence panel that is less expensive than just buying another panel from Lowes or Home Depot.

Great question! If using an oil-based stain, you don't really need to but with a water-based stain, some manufacturers recommend that you use a polyurethane top coat to help protect the stain and wood. I personally do not believe that a top coat is necessary.

No problem! I actually dropped my Action 4 today while at the park with family for Easter activities and had 0 issues when I picked it back up. And yes, it definitely looks a ton better.

You’d still need to flush a tankless water heater if you go that route. If you’re willing to pay the extra cash for a tankless, they’re definitely worth it but still require some maintenance. The process is a little difference but a lot of the tankless units come with flushing kits to help keep it simple.

Hey @TheSeannman, thanks for the comment! I think that might be the first I've heard of a tank developing or opening cracks due to it being drained. I could see that maybe being an issue for units that are a little older though. The most common thing that I've seen for tanks becoming damaged during flushing is that people forget to turn the power source off before draining the water out. The heat causes the tank to crack since there isn't any water to heat inside the tank.

I think those cracks only happen if you've not flushed it for several years. I could be wrong, though. 🤷‍♂️

Aprilaire recommends that if you have pets or run your HVAC more than normal, you should change it more frequently. Your situation may vary.

@ryanvargo aprilaire website for merv13 in orange box or below every 12 months. Merv 13 in blue box or higher every 6 months. This type of filter actually filter better as it "loads up". Replacing early robs you of some of the best filtration. These time lines are also based off run time, not a calendar time line. Usually best to run it either 6 or 12 months on calendar time frame. I do as I have 3 dogs

Great question Jonston. If the filter is installed backwards, it can restrict the airflow, resulting in your HVAC working harder to make up for the loss of airflow. That would lead to higher utility bills and could even damage the unit itself.
