Stan Winston Creature Feature Figure Featurette #4: Day the World Ended (The Visitor)

On Halloween of 2001, Stan Winston Studios teamed up with Cinemax to make Five films based on classic film titles. Most of the films were written with two focuses:
1. The title of the film is all the remake and classic share
2. The MONSTER is awesome!
All of these monsters were wonderfully made, and really invoked the idea of a creature feature. The Day the World Ended is the story of a highly psychic child who watches an old 50's monster movie, and his imagination conjures...The Visitor!!!
To celebrate this success further, Stand Winston Studios made their very first line of action figures based on the monsters from these unique films! Always trying new things, Stan included CD-ROMs with each figure, detailing the creation and Stan's feelings on the process. There are five total figures, so five CDs with five making of videos. In subsequent weeks, I will post these videos to preserve this great achievement in Special Effects history.

after seen 'In The Year 2889' which was basically a shot for shot remake of the World Ended, I was glad this one is different. It was sorta like Wes Craven's New Nightmare where the creature exists in the real world. Cool monster, shame rarely get a good look @ him.
